Description of Work: T&C moved me from Washington DC suburbs to Portland Oregon. This was a tricky move - not everything from DC needed to be moved, and, on the Portland end, not everything moved had to go in my new apartment. Nevertheless, T&C performed flawlessly, nothing missing, nothing broken, very flexible about delivery times, which I had to adjust on the Portland end, clean and neat. My only caveat is that the final price was substantially more than the original estimate, although still within acceptable limits. This may be due to the large number of books that had to be shipped, which,because of the way they had been arranged in DC, may have looked like a fewer number than they really were. All and all, a good job, happy to recommend them.

Description of Work: All went very smoothly until they gave me the bill. The movers did what movers do plus a high level of TLC when it came to more delicate objects. The pre-move estimate was $560.00. The final total was $670.00; significantly higher than the estimate. Of course, your definition of "significantly" might be different from mine. All in all, A-.

Description of Work: We recently moved from Chevy Chase, MD, to Broomfield, CO. We used Town & Country Moving and Storage of MD based on reports in Angie's List. We were pleased with the service we received from Sales Manager Jackie Davis, the packers, the loaders, the driver, Jose, and the unpackers. Jose met us with the truck when he said he would (we were in constant cellphone communication) and got us moved in within four hours. We couldn't find the key to our China cabinet and Elaine of Town and Country said to call in a locksmith and send her the bill. Our thanks to Town and Country and Angie's List for a successfull move.
