Do NOT move with this company! I hired Town & Country Movers to help me move my really large items from my rental house to the house I purchased, about 10 minutes away. Mark, the estimator that came to look at the house was great and the reason why I selected the company. However, the actual movers that arrived were terrible. First, no one was wearing masks and never even attempted to protect themselves or us during the current health situation. My husband and I moved a lot of items ourselves and the workers were shocked when they arrived and realized they didn't have as much to do and hence would be paid less for the day. I overheard them telling each other to slow down. Most of the time, two guys were working while the other two were standing around. Given that I was paying by the hour, this was frustrating. They damaged the walls at the rental house, as well as the door frame at the house I purchased. Someone spit chewed gum on the driveway of the rental house, right where everyone walks. We are in the middle of a pandemic and I had to clean up chewed gum! This is unacceptable! Then, when they were all finished and we were paying the bill, they tried to round up the time by nearly an hour. When I told him exactly what time they arrived and we looked at the clock and did the math, he acknowledged the difference and took the price down. They also did not credit our final bill the $100 deposit that was paid. We called the company, since the credit card had not been charged yet, and they said the deposit would be credited prior to processing. But it wasn't. We were over charged, which required another call to the company. I still have not seen the deposit credited to my account. There was a lot of unprofessional behavior on all levels of this company. Choose someone else for your move!

Amazing! Our three movers were very professional, nice, and worked their tails off. We bought them lunch and I've never seen a group of three individuals work so hard. I wish I remember the movers' names. They were El Salvadoran and two of them had the same name. We tipped the gentlemen fairly and my only regret is I wish I would have tipped them even more because we were so satisfied with our experience.

A moving consultant came to my apartment to estimate the cost (very hepful). Movers Javier, Emilio, and Brandy were professional, knowledgeable, and very careful with my furniture and other property. I will definitely recommend this moving company to friends and colleagues.

The Town & Country team we’re great, very professional and clearly experienced. Their estimate for packing and moving services ended up being within $100 of the final cost day of. Both the packing and moving teams were very efficient and finished earlier than expected.

I contacted this company to obtain an estimate for an international move (about $25,000 for door-to-door service). The guy who came to my house promised the estimate would be ready in a week. A week later, nothing. When I called, no apology, he just said it would be a week late. When it finally came, the estimate was unclear and did not correspond to what we had discussed. When I asked questions to get clarifications, I did not get any answers until after I called and sent emails repeatedly. Getting information from this company was like pulling teeth. They clearly do not like dealing with informed customers. In addition, the website of this company defines door-to-door service as "pack and load for export, transport, customs clearance, delivery, unload AND UNPACK". However, in my estimate they had sneakily excluded the unpacking without alerting me to the difference. When I discovered this, they refused to honor the definition on their website and told me unpacking would cost extra. When I asked how much, they did not tell me... I thought this was very dishonest and it raised my suspicion. I was referred to an "international move coordinator" who seemed to know very little about international moves as she could not even tell me who would clear my goods through customs, telling me one thing one day and then a different thing the next day. It did not inspire confidence. When I had a question about insurance coverage, she refused to even look it up, and said that she would send me an insurance document and I could figure it out for myself. So much for customer service! I have made many moves in my life time and the unresponsiveness and unhelpfulness of the staff of this company is probably the worst I've ever experienced. Fortunately I discovered all this before I signed a contract with them.

Very well...our only hang up was the $55.00 charge for a TV box for our 48 inch flat screen...we’re sorry we didn’t ask to keep the box that we never saw.

This company was wonderful. They were efficient, timely, professional and courteous. The staff at every level was the best we have ever dealt with. Every request was honored and without the slightest hesitation. We highly recommend this moving and storage service.

High degree of professionalism, courtesy and responsiveness from the quote for their services to the actual move. They went the extra mile and even walked over to our new address (just a block over) to talk to our building manager and examine the loading dock in order to make sure logistics ran smoothly on the day of our move. It also helped that Town & Country had experience moving customers from both our old and new buildings. We also had them do our packing which made the move even easier. On top of that, upon completion of the moving Town & Country came in UNDER budget. Great service ... highly recommend!

An outstanding job was done by all, and at less cost than originally estimated. Our move went as well as it possibly could.

Renee and his crew did an outstanding job. They were fast, clean, efficient during the packing and the move. They provided recommendations and were conscientious with my furniture and possessions, some of which are very expensive. They communicated well during the entire process and we're very thorough. Most of all they were flexible and friendly when I would change my mind about where stuff was going. To be sure, I'm still unpacking but I don't think I'm going to find any surprises. I regularly tell my teams at work that I don't grade on a curve (I hate low expectations) and so I'm generally a tough grader. I give Rene and his team an "A" and would be pleased to provide my strongest recommendation for Town and Country.

Town & Country movers are the best. The four men who did our move we very professional, polite and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that all our belonging were placed exactly where we wanted them. There were no dents, scratches or gouges on either the furniture or the walls of either home. To our happy surprise, the cost of the move was exactly what the written estimate said it would be. We would definitely recommend them.

Team was awesome. Showed up right on time and were very professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend them.

Easiest move ever. Eddie the estimator worked with us using a fixed price for the trucks moving us from A to B and time and materials cost for packing and unpacking. They gave us 40 free moving boxes and tape for us to pack what we wanted to do and they packed the breakable and last minute things. They were always reachable for questions, punctual, polite, and very professional.

The estimate was quite accurate and the process very well explained. The packers were punctual (actually early), fast, efficient, courteous. In fact, so fast that we had to dig some stuff back out of the boxes because we had not marked them to be left! They knew how to pack everything just right. The movers (coincidentally the same 3-man team), were again punctual, fast, efficient, courteous, pleasant... They were really a great team. Everything arrived in one piece, the actual cost came in under the estimate (partially because we packed up and moved stuff between the time of the estimate and actual move). We had a lot of pottery and fragile items. They were kind enough to let us know that it would cost a lot less if we moved some of it ourselves (which we did for this 40-mile move). What they moved, they packed really, really carefully.

Fantastic moving experience! Called Town and Country about 10 days prior to move date. Quoted rate was competitive. All were team members were professional. Based on ratings and cost I chose T&C. This was my first experience hiring a moving company. I packed most items myself and wanted the company to move furniture only. Luckily they offered to pack up lamps and artwork, move boxes and my clothing. Custom crate was constructed to move a large antique. The morning of the move my realtor called to tell me the new homeowner did not want an entire bedroom of furniture which I now needed to move. My moving crew didn't flinch; they wrapped and moved this furniture. Once at new home decided to switch some furniture from downstairs to upstairs; not a problem for these guys! I was sent two large moving vans and four guys which I felt was overkill, but glad they did! Filled one van and the larger items were placed in the other. Such a smooth move on a very hot and humid day; I provided beverages/snacks and lunch. I couldn't have hand-picked a better crew-these guys were great! Happily recommend Town and Country Movers!

You know who I love is Town & Country Movers. The price was competitive. I absolutely would use them again. They were very helpful. They would move whatever I wanted to. The best things was that the price they quoted me was the price I ended up paying. That was one of the main reasons I really like to use them. I used them also many years ago for a different move. I've moved since and I don't remember the companies because I told myself I would never use anyone else again.

The big things went well. All of our things arrived on time and only one thing broken, likely due to my own rushed packing. The people were all consistently professional and kind. The "Bs" come more from little things. Due to a misunderstanding about what needed to be packed, the movers had to pack 2 lamps on site. You would have thought that I had left a cabinet full of dishes by the reaction... somehow this ended up taking 3 boxes and more than $100 in moving supplies. Also, our weight came out far over the estimate. While this may happen, the actual weight was closer a rival company ---when I asked the sales rep about the wide discrepancy, he assured me that there was "no way your things will weigh that much, even with a piano." Anyway, it ended up being a significant cost difference that we were not expecting. Responsiveness and service also diminished after packing up my home and putting things into storage. Never heard from the company to confirm my delivery date; I had to call the morning of to get an estimated arrival time, which then ended up being later. Service also was not as great for delivery. Packing up my house, I had about 6 people and it took 3 hours, including a baby grand piano. Moving in, there were only 2 people and they worked without a break through the whole day. By the end, they were so tired that it honestly did not even seem safe for only 2 people to be moving the piano, and I fault the company. Two months later, I noticed a gash in the brand new hardwood floor below one of the piano legs. It's fixable with touch up pens, but it shouldn't have happened ---and would not have with adequate staffing. We have had similar and worse move in issues with other companies, so maybe it's an industry-wide thing that happens with inter-state moves. That's the only reason I didn't rate them lower. Nevertheless, they certainly were not the problem-free experience many reviewers reported.

As well as a move could. Crew arrived on time all three days. Got to work and packed everything efficiently and expertly. Asked questions when questions should have been asked. Set up everything on the receiving end. Could not have been more painless.

We worked with Mark Goldsborough, Dominic Deyo for the move coordination. Jovani was our primary mover for both stages of our move. Town and Country’s movers were professional, polite, and conscientious. None of our belongings were broken during the moves. Payment was originally incorrect on an invoice received via mail, but Town and Country quickly corrected the issue and was very easy to work with.

It went very well. They came on Thursday and packed up our remaining things. Then Friday they moved us to our new house. We had no issues with anything breaking and despite the heat they did a great job

You hear horror stories about movers losing items or holding your possessions hostage to extract more money, so we did as much homework as we could. Town and Country lived up to its high ratings. "The Team" of representatives available at all times was very professional and friendly, as was the trio of movers who packed and moved us.
