Description of Work: Moved essentially contents from DC to a one bedroom unit in Boston. I cannot say enough positive about these folks- responsive, timely, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend them. In fact my brother just scheduled with them too.

Description of Work: We boxed, but they wrapped all furniture, including delicate ginger jar lamps and Chinese vases. All arrived with no damage. Disassembled and reassembled, so we were pretty much in good shape that same day, other than needing to open many boxes. Great that they bring wardrobes, load and unload, and no extra charge for that. Overall excellent, movers were accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We used Town and Country Movers for a long distance move from MD to TN. We chose them because they were a local company, their price was competitive, and the final cost was guaranteed not to exceed the bid price. Our final total even ended up being slightly less than the estimate. Our belongings were picked up on the appointed day, and delivered on time. The movers in MD and TN were fast and professional. We lost two belongings in the move (a ladder and the pole to a patio umbrella), but the company investigated our claim and fully reimbursed us for the items. We did have to follow-up with the company multiple times before and after the move to get scheduling confirmed and resolve the issues with the missing items, but at the end of the day they came through for us without any difficulty and we were very satisfied with the service.
