Description of Work: Shanco did a very good job replacing our cedar shake roof. Our work date was pushed several times due to weather backing up their schedule, but we have no complaints about the rest of the process. We received a quote in a timely manner, all of the Shanco staff were extremely responsive and courteous, and the project manager in charge of our job kept in great touch with us during the 3-4 days it took to complete the roof. We really appreciated their customer service. And of course the new roof!

Description of Work: Replaced garage roof, found and replaced several rotten roof beams. Very professional, reasonably priced. A little difficult to schedule, but this was what is considered a small job. Would definitely recommend and hire them again.

Description of Work: Shanco replaced the gutters on my home and installed gutters on my screen porch. There was some confusion about he scope of the job (due to the estimator leaving the company) so they had to come out twice to complete the work as planned.

Description of Work: Shanco replaced our cedar shake roof on our house and garage including replacing a skylight in the bathroom. I got 4 quotes for the job. They were not the cheapest but the second but they used better materials and a better technique to apply the shingles - hand nailing vs staple gun. They worked hard, got the job done as quickly as possible given some rain, and did a very good job cleaning up. Very pleased and have recommended them to neighbors.

Description of Work: I contacted Shanco to get an estimate after noticing peeling paint and cracks in several locations on my ceiling. I was able to get an appt fairly quickly. Brad Young, Project Manager, came out to give me an estimate. He first looked at the damage to the ceiling, then took a look at my roof. Mr. Young was pleasant, professional and informative. He spent quite a bit of time explaining the process of replacing a roof and the difference between various types of shingles. Mr. Young contacted me by email when he wasn't able to provide the estimate when promised. I received it shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, I thought my roof simply needed repairing and did not budget for the cost of replacement. Although Mr. Young was able to give me a discount, the final estimate was still more than I could afford at the time. I can't comment on the quality of their work. However, my expectations were met in all other aspects.

Description of Work: They replaced the gutters and also did the down spout. It was excellent.
