Terrific. Mike replied to my request for a quote promptly. A different contractor offered to bend and re-secure my existing gutter for $200, but I felt a new stretch of gutter was appropriate. It needed splash guards, and it needed a hole drilled for my rain chain to hang from. The installers did a wonderful job, very professional.

Shanco quickly provided a detailed estimate, including options for extra work. They were responsive and professional in their communication. Due to excessive workload caused by the storm, the replacement had a two or three week lead time, but they came eventually as scheduled, did an excellent job, and cleaned up the area completely. I was very satisfied with every aspect of their service.

We waited for the remainder of the week for the estimate. My wife called Mike on the weekend and asked again for the estimate. He emailed the gutter estimate to us on March 15th but did not include pictures or an estimate for the roof replacement. We called and emailed him several times since asking for these items but never received a return call or email. Hence, we went with another firm to replace the entire gutter system as well as the roof. We will certainly never use this firm again. I called Shanco to request an estimate for repairing my house gutter that was damaged during the snow storms this year. There was a wait to have someone come out because many, many people were in the same boat as me. But that was understandable. I was told that Dan would be coming out the following week on Friday morning and was given the timeframe within which to expect him. On that morning, Dan called to say he was in the area and would be at my house soon. He was, and in the timeframe provided to me. Dan was friendly and professional. He explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote that was reasonable. He provided in writing exactly what needed to be done and also left me with copies of Shanco's and his own State of Maryland Sales License, their Certificate of Liability Insurance and a list of references. The following week, Sherry called me to let me know that the workers would be at my house the next day. I did not have to be home. The job was completed quickly and to my satisfaction. They followed up by sending me a copy of my paid invoice and a thank you card.

I was glad he was honest about the timeframe as to when they could come out, but they never did follow up with the email estimate like they said they would.

They were excellent and I thought they were very reasonably priced. They seemed very professional. They came, went over everything and gave me an estimate. They stuck by the estimate and didn't stick me with anything at the end like saying we also did this and we also did that. They were real nice.

Once I made the call I was immediately assigned to the project manager (Dan) to assist me and begin the repair. He explained it was a very busy time and what he can do and when he'll be able to get it done. He came out to inspect the roof and gave me his assessment and recommendation. He was very professional, concerned and kept me informed via email and phoned when there was a concern. Though I am not able to actually climb the roof to see that the work had been done I trust that it has and I'll just have to wait until the next rain storm comes and hope that my ceiling won't end up in my bedroom. They did a fine job. They were very thorough and did exactly what they said they were going to do. We didn't have any problems. A couple of months later we called them to get a bid for new shutters and he never contacted us back.

The president of the company, Joe, was very prompt and accommodating to my difficult schedule (I work 7-7). He was able to go on site and provide estimate on very short notice. The work was completed quickly and with minimal impact to surrounding areas. My neighbors have all requested their contact information.

I was very pleased with every aspect of their work. Their workmanship was good, their price was good and I would highly recommend them.

I was very happy with them. Their price was better than the other 3 or 4 estimates that I got. They knew what they were doing and did it very quickly. The guy who came out to do the estimate was very knowledgeable and helpful. He didn?t try to push the most expensive things. He explained the things very well. There was a small thing that didn?t match and I called them. They came in the next day and fixed it.

In 4 visits, never showed up on time. Sometimes earlier, later and once no-show "because he never checked his list for the day". Would not honor the AngiesList discount advertised. In the end, the leak was not fixed and they refused to return, saying it wasn't worth their time unless I'd agree to an entire re-roofing project. I found another company that fixed the leak in 30 minutes. Not a reliable company.

Timely estimate, he showed up the day after I called. The install crew showed up on time, worked efficiently throughout the day, and left the area spotless after departure. I would use this company again.

They answered the phone beautifully. They came the same day to give me an estimate. The gentleman that came was absolutely lovely. Went over all the small jobs that I needed done, gave me material about their company - I truly thought that I had a winner here. He came on a Monday, said I would have his proposal by email on Wednesday. Nothing. I called the first time on Friday, the gentleman that came to my house answered, and asked if he could call me right back. I said sure. I am still waiting for the callback. I then called again the following Wednesday. He was not in the office, so I left a message that if the job is too small, just tell me and I will go elsewhere. He never called back, it is now 2 weeks later.

They came and gave me an estimate. I paid the estimate and they were very prompt about arriving. They did a good job, the roof is still fixed. I would use this company again in the future.

It was pretty good. They followed up with us after the quote and after they did the work. They did the job quickly and they were very professional. They seemed to know what they were doing and they offered the specific leaf protection system we were looking for.

Upon calling them, they were able to come out the same week. During their visit they stayed over an hour to inspect the roof, explain the issues and options, and wrote up the estimates for fixing the roof vs replacing it. Once we chose our option, we negotiated a few other items for which we were provided a price right away and total. Once the work was scheduled, we had some weather delays. But once they came, the guys on the job worked hard and steadily. They cleaned up their debris, tested the attic fans, and the "foreman" was very helpful.

They had a great presentation. They came on time and followed up well. Their pricing was high, but if it wasn't for that, I would have gone with them.

They were responsive and they listened. The crew was all about work when they got here. They cleaned up after themselves good. I got a quote from them and a few others. They seemed to look more in depth at any problems that might come up so thats why I chose them.

Exceptional company, professional from top to bottom. Only problems we had were with one exterior trim board installed incorrectly and it was promptly fixed, and some vinyl soffit installed in the wrong direction, but we caught it in time to fix quickly. Very good company to work with. Dan Haske, the sales guy was very frank and provided a good estimate. Would recommend them to anyone.

We heard of them through a neighbor. We got three different bids. They had the lowest price, but we did not choose them for that reason. They talked to us to know exactly what we wanted. The installation went very well. They were more than willing to work with me. They bent over backwards to get what we wanted.

I got four estimates for the vinyl siding replacement project and Bartlett's was the most competitive. Our home is half brick, half wood-siding and we decided to have the wood portion replaced with vinyl to avoid the constant re-painting. The president of the company, Joe Gleason, personally came by to review the details of the contract when I had questions. They started the project on schedule and finished within 3-4 days. The siding project manager, John Sood, was experienced and professional. I was very impressed by the quality of their work and attention to detail; the workers were efficient and courteous and very good about cleaning up at the end of each day. Front office and project manger is easy to reach and very responsive to feedback - would definitely recommend them!

This was not an easy job since the roof was a large area hip roof, with other sloping parts, a connected breezeway and a separate 3-car garage. From start to finish Bartlett Exteriors were very professional and helpful. Their representative spent over an hour explaining in detail the items on their estimate and what would be done for the roof replacement. The job took 3 1/2 days to complete, but fortunately the weather was excellent for doing roof work. A team of seven persons worked for the entire time, except for the final 1/2 day. The job was very professionally performed, they took great care to completely clean the work areas around our house every evening before leaving. Would highly recommend them for future similar work. After the fact we found that another family in our local area had used them for siding installation, windows and roof replacement.

Bartlett Exteriors provided excellent service from start to finish. I received the estimate one day after the inspection of the roof. Work began and ended as promised. As the work progressed, I was made aware of any variations from the initial plan. All debris was removed at the end of the project. All of my calls were returned promptly.

This company did a fantastic job installing our new roof. The workers who came out were very nice and worked hard throughout the day. I thought it was nice that the office sent us a thank you card. I feel like they went out of their way to provide excellent customer service and we appreciate that.
