It went great. Dave Cain called us direclty and responded to our house to go over the details of what repairs his crew would be making. Though I know they had to be busy with all the water damage repairs in the area (recent storm) he made us feel we were their top priority. The work which was completed was excellent. I would recommend Dave Cain and his crew to anyone.

After having the initial cleanup taken care of we started looking around for a company that would a) Do insurance work for the majority of the job that was covered by insurance, and b) work with us to do about $5k of additional improvements. Looking on the list I first tried Omar's which is well reviewed. He came out and took a look, but I never heard from him again. I also contacted Case Remodeling, but they said that they couldn't do the work for the price that the insurance company was likely to offer. They were nice, but were obviously looking for greener pastures. I talked to a handyman service who nicely told me that it was too big for them, but that he knew someone high up at Paul Davis, and would contact his friend for me. My insurance company had also mentioned PD as a good option that they liked working with, so I went ahead and scheduled a visit. I was able to get an appointment with an estimator within a couple of days, and received detailed work orders for both the insurance work, and the additional work I wanted done. The estimates included materials, tasks, and hours estimates down to every detail. I was nice to have this because I could make sure that we were both on the same page. He also sent this and other forms by email, which made my life much easier. In the end there were a couple of minor things that we forgot until a little later, and some things that I forgot to request, but the estimate turned out to be within $1000 of our final cost, which was a great relief. Happily they were able to get started on the job very quickly. I'm handy, but busy, so I checked in with the foreman every morning to answer questions and provide input, and inspected the work every evening. There were a few things like speaker wire junctions that I wanted to do myself, and they were fine with me doing these little tasks in the evenings. The workspace was always kept clean, so I never had a problem working in there. If I had any questions that the foreman couldn't answer I could easily send email to Richardo and I'd get a quick response. The crew worked 5 and 6 days a week, and had the work done remarkably fast. I've heard stories of contractors disappearing for weeks on end, but that wasn't a problem for PD. At the end of the job the basement looks great, and the bathroom looks opulent. We had one missing ground in an outlet and one sink that was hooked up hot-to-cold. There was also a concern with the angle of the tiles on the top of the shower curbing, but this turned out not to be an actual problem. The paint and trim all looks top rate, and only in the perfectly wrong light can you see any waviness where drywall sheets meet. In all it was a good experience, and I'd work with Paul Davis again.

Their price was okay. I would rate them high overall.

They did a fine job. They showed up when they were supposed to. They cleared everything out, but in comparison to the work done after the second flood that I recently had which another company dealt with, they were a bit faster and used a little more updated equipment. I preferred them over Paul Davis Restoration, but these guys were totally reasonable for what they did. It was covered by the insurance. They were very neat. They left their equipment and it dried up the house and then they came out and cleaned it out for me and left. Overall, they were great. I would use them again in the future.

The reponded immediately to our call. They submitted an estimate to our insurance company, and scheduled repairs promptly. The one item that was not repaired to our satisfaction was corrected in a timely fashion.

They were very good. They sent out good people. There were some problems with some subcontractors, but they were mostly pretty good. They did a good job. The work was done in a timely manner. I have nothing but positive things to say overall. The workmanship was very acceptable. We didn't get too involved in the pricing because the insurance company took care of it. Our insurance company was happy with them. The job wasn't over the top, but it was good.

The job went perfectly. The estimator came as promised at 6:30a.m. Estimator was very thorough in inspecting what needed to be done, how much it would cost and set an appt with me for two days later. The repair persons arrived on time and prepared with all of the proper materials. The replaced the kitchen sink sewage water pipe from behind the kitchen sink all the way to the main house sewage pipe connector. They cut and replaced the drywall which was water damaged, located behind the kitchen sink. The repair job was perfect, the leak was properly fixed and no further problems have occurred in my house. I highly recommend them. Quick, professional, clean, and wonderful.

It was done very efficiently and very well. Their price was reasonable because I checked with other people. They were unbelievably good and came by and did the job. When water was pouring into my house, they came by right away and made a fake canopy on top of my deck upstairs. It was well priced and interestingly enough my insurance company paid for a lot of it. I noticed with some of the companies that I interviewed raised their price when they found out that the insurance company was paying for it.

It was fantastic. I have never been happier with a service before. They were reliable, dependable, competent, and very nice--and that goes for everyone involved in the process.

They are very prompt and courteous on the job. The staff is very friendly and quick to respond. I don’t think they sent enough guys to do the job quickly. I felt that the job would have been finished sooner than it did. This last visit was free, since it was something they installed. Overall, there are little things they could have improved on, but they did a great job staying busy and doing it right. We plan to hire these guys again for future jobs.
