JW just completed a number of small plumbing and electrical projects as well as addressing a leaking patio door. This is the third time the company has completed projects in the last two years. In every instance we have been amazed at the high quality of workmanship. My husband sustained a severe leg wound a few days before the last project began and I would especially like to commend two technicians, William R and Jimmy C, for taking extraordinary care to keep the area around my husband clean and safe while at the same time doing a super job of repairing fixtures in an aging house.

We were delighted with the outcome of the installation of a new surround on our fireplace. This was a re-do of an initial installation by another contractor that did not work out too well! I was nervous about getting this done right and Kevin put me at ease immediately. He was precise, highly skilled, and very aware that we were not happy with the first installation. It turned out beautifully.

To get hardwood floors in our living room and dining rooms has made our home to come life. From the beginning of the process of beginning the project with Jesse to the end of the project when all of the old rugs and materials being taken away was a dream come true. This was not our first project with JW Home Improvements and it won’t be the last. Each time we say to ourselves how we got the best technicians and we hope they would be back because no one else could have done the quality of the work that they did. This time Josue Pleitez and Melvin Torres were our technicians and to be honest, once again JW sent their best. All through the project we were told of what they were planning to do and how it was to be done. It means so much to a home owner when you see the smiles of the technicians as they are proud of the quality of work they did when it is completed. Not only were they happy with their work but we were. Thank you JW!

Wow, as usual we got outstanding work performed! Juan Rodriguez and Kevin Juares did great work on our home projects. So professional and friendly. And they left things cleaner than when they got here! Outstanding!

From start to finish they were total professionals - responsive, punctual, transparent, and consultative. They got back to me quickly to schedule an estimate within a few days. The estimator, Josh, showed up on time and sought to understand our project goals, consulted us on options, confirmed they could get the materials, and provided a detailed estimate same day. We quickly booked our project to start in the next few weeks. Our project lead, Jose, was also great. He was punctual and came up with an option even better than our original plan. He worked efficiently and with great attention to detail. Billing has been easy to work with to reconcile the project. I would absolutely work with them again!

JWHI is a fabulous home improvement contractor. You could not ask for more from a professional/construction services contractor. They start by providing an on-site estimate (though there is a modest fee, it is well worth it). There is great value in a contractor having eyes on your job before they quote it. They then provide a comprehensive estimate and review your scope of work in great detail. Scheduling the work was easy, and the two technicians that worked my kitchen project were polite, professional, and gifted craftsmen. JWHI was so easy to work with, and the result of my kitchen renovation was everything that I asked for. JWHI's pricing is fair and reasonable, and I would absolutely work with them again and trust my home remodeling needs to them.

We wanted to install a tiled kitchen backsplash to protect the wall near the stove from splatters but also to improve the appearance of the kitchen. We picked a tile from Floor and Decor and set out to find a contractor. The first contractor, highly recommended on Angi, came in and proposed an installation that would have cost over $6,000. That struck us as much too high. We then approached JW, which had done work for us in the past, and got an estimate that struck us as reasonable. But to get their top tile installer, Cesar Miranda, we had to wait nearly two months. We decided to wait and are glad we did. When he arrived, he brought three different grout and gave us our choice. He then did an outstanding installation.

JW Home Improvement did an excellent job on my home. Josh Metz, their estimator, was one of the most knowledgeable professionals we have ever met. As we inspected the exterior trim of our home which had rotting and and other maintenance needs, he was constantly photographing each spot to describe the exact work needed for our estimate. Then he provided in writing a flawless description of everything to be done with an accurate estimate. We found the pricing to be fair, not inexpensive, but complete. The JW crew who arrived to do the work (Carlos Del Castillo & Juan Rodriquez) were sensational! They replaced the rotted wood with PVC (never to rot again) and painted and caulked the work superbly. My wife and I both believe their work to be some of the best done on our house. We now recommend JW Home Improvement to our family and closest friends and neighbors. We give them an A+ for this job. Overall, I’m very satisfied with JW Home Improvement. I had a large hole in my ceiling needing repair and painting. The estimator was punctual, efficient, and answered all of my questions. The quality of the repair is great—I can’t tell there was ever a hole there. The only hiccups were with scheduling. The technician first showed up a week earlier than scheduled. Then, he failed to come on the correct date (apparently he had an emergency, but JW failed to inform me). JW customer service was polite and helped me both times, and the third time was the charm. I did have to point out to the technician some places that he missed. Twice. But he was very polite about it, and in the end I’m very happy with the quality.

Estimator came and gave us an honest assessment of our situation with an acceptable solution. A technician came the next morning and performed the work we needed done. This included a great deal of customization (our place is old) Cesar did a great job! We are very happy and quite impressed with what he was able to do. He completed the job in one day. He was professional and polite. He cleaned up after himself and left us with nothing but a new kitchen. We highly recommend this service.

This is the second time that I have used JW Home Improvement to replace some of the wood on my deck that had rotted. Josh, the estimator came out as scheduled and was able to schedule the repair crew to come out the next day (due to a cancellation). The two-man crew arrived right on schedule and worked diligently, finishing the repairs very well. I am again pleased with this company and am happy to refer them for any of their handyman services. In fact, I have already given a reference to my neighbor for similar work.

I have used JW Home Improvement services for several years and they never disappoint. Pablo Molina and Mario Cortex were true artisans; professional, and meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the project. They restored my 33-year-old porch to its original state.

The two technicians were professional, friendly, very cooperative and finished the project one day earlier than estimated. Their work was excellent, and they left the site spotless when finished. I would definitely contract again with JW Home Improvement and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We are repeat customers of JW Home Improvement and have always been extremely happy with their service. Aberto and Javier were the technicians that did the work on our master bathroom shower.. They were meticulous, hardworking, skilled, professional and friendly. If we had any questions or concerns, they addressed each one. Highly recommend.

JW Home Improvement performed the renovation of two bathrooms over two years ago. One of the two bathrooms appeared to spring a leak twice near the guest toilet, but we did not see the puddle develop. We called JW since they did the original toilet (+wax ring), subfloor, and tile install. Scheduling sent an estimator (Jesse) to come out and look at the project and a tech (Marcos) was sent over the following week. Both guys went above and beyond what we expected. We hoped JW would work with us on the price for the work if the issue stemmed from an original install issue. Luckily, Jesse was understanding and even though we couldn't tell if it was an install issue or breakdown of the toilet itself (not their fault) until the toilet's removal, he worked with us on the price anyway; this was also despite the fact that we were beyond the 1-year warranty on the work. (Kuddos #1). We were scheduled for 4 hours of work. Marcos assessed the area and did not find a viable bathroom related source for the leak. During several test flushes, he checked the seals, toilet bowl connection points, the water line, and under our sink. No leak after 25 minutes. Likely it may have been our 4 yr. old being stealthy. He recommended holding off on unnecessary work and calling JW if a leak was observed again. (Kuddos #2) Then, when we were preparing to sort out payment, Jesse came back and told us not to worry about the cost since nothing had to be done, which surprised us since they still sent Marcos out. Another company may have not said anything and re-installed the toilet anyway. (Kuddos #3) We will definitely be calling JW again.

Cancelled the estimate due to scheduling issues on their end. We set an estimate appointment @ 10 days out from initial call. They were no call / no show. I called them, was told they could get an estimator out in another 12 days. We had communicated the timeframe we wanted and had already been charged $50 for the estimate. They did agree to refund the estimate amount, fingers crossed it's easy to get it.

I strongly recommend JW Home Improvement. Alejandro and Miguel were friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, respectful, highly skilled and worked extremely efficiently to complete several interior and exterior home projects. They were particularly exceptional in going above and beyond to produce truly beautiful work. The craftsmanship and precision displayed was extraordinary and they were an absolute pleasure to have at my home.

Tomas and Antonio were punctual, professional, and skilled. They arrived on time, verified what I was looking to have done. Thoughtfully, when they could not get edging that matched what I had already, Tomas checked if I wanted to match both sides or have a difference. He anticipated I wanted matching. While Tomas went to get supplies, Antonio helped me with a small project (20 mins for him) I could not do myself. They cleaned up very well after their work. I will use JW again, for sure.

Paid inspection fee for an estimate. First appointment was rescheduled and pushed a week out due to an estimator no longer being available at scheduled time. When an estimator finally did come out, inspection felt rushed and was not as thorough as other inspectors I had come out. Did not feel comfortable moving forward with service. Waste of time and inspection fee.

My job started about 8:30AM and ended about 6:00pm. Kevin and Marcos worked very well with each other and got the job done. They were also neet

We were very happy with the work from Pablo and Mario and JWHI — they were professional, punctual, and did great work on a variety of handyman chores, from painting, to caulking to fixing doors and patching up a leaky roof. When new issues arose, they proposed and executed creative solutions. Really happy with the work.
