The technician came as scheduled. He assessed the issue. Purchased the necessary items to complete the work and completed the work in a timely manner. The time to completion was important because I purchased a deal that included a few hours for the job. It took an extra hour because of the assessment and having to leave to go to get the materials needed for the job. It looked good but wasn’t painted because it was too cold outside. Overall a good job.

He arrived on time and was polite. He assessed the wood that needed to be replaced then went to acquire the supplies at Home Depot. The 3 hours purchased included the time to go to Home Depot and return. Unfortunately, the 3 hours I secured was not enough, causing me to have to pay for an additional hour. The only reason I secured the service is because the rotting wood was too high for me to do myself. Although the work was done well, it was somewhat chilly outside and we were told that the repair could not be painted to match the window frame.

Very satisfied with the quality of work done. Communication with the front office regarding scheduling was excellent -- great customer service.

They came on time, and did the work I requested. (Note: the price of the work on my earlier submission says $400, but the actual amount we worked out was $1200.)

This was a good quality experience from estimate to completion. Everything went on time and on budget. But what I really liked was the extra efforts on details, like making sure they matched the right wood for the deck even though it meant going to a second supplier, and putting the old boards into an organized stack instead of just piling them up.

After company rescheduling a few times, the job went great. The carpenter who actually did the work was excellent.

It went very well. The Customer Sales Rep first came out to do an estimate of what needed to be done. He was very prompt and answered all of my questions. Subsequently, the technician came as scheduled and was also extremely prompt. He went and obtained a great replacement seat and installed it in a little less than an hour. He then proceeded to repair my bathroom sink drain and then drilled holes and hung my mirror and plaques. He was very efficient and gave helpful assistance . I would definitely use this company's services again.

They never responded to my repeated requests for follow up information to the estimate they provided. The estimate itself was pretty high. Even though they were just going to have me purchase ready-made windows from Home Depot, the estimate was as high as other companies I contacted that would get me really high quality custom windows. I also had them do an estimate on some carpentry work inside the house, and the price, again, was outrageously high. Basically, I feel like they charged me for an estimate that was really high and then disappeared from view and ignored my questions and requests for additional information. I contacted them because so many others have rated them highly on Angie's list, so I don't know what has changed with the company, but I would never do business with them.

Great. The only issue was I thought after estimate they would call me To schedule, turns out the expectation was for me to call to schedule.

Work was completed quickly and exceeded expectations. We will be contacting them for another project.

i paid for 4 hours of work. There was only one person and he did a great job, picked up materials for lattice but didn't have time to do any power washing., so I was a little disappointed. they should have estimated how much time it would have taken, because i really needed both done. It took longer to repair the lattice, which I was happy with

Went fine. My repairman (Chris) did a very nice job. I was pleased at how much he accomplished in the 4 hours. Very happy with the work start to finish.

As othere have noted there is a $50 non-refundable charge for an estimate. Because I knew that I have no problem with it. Hourly rate was higher than others but worth it because the job was completed in less than estimated time. Prior to job 50% of estimate was charged to the credit card. I was not thrilled but had decided to go ahead. The crew arrived on time and we reviewed the work. They worked with out a break and completed the job in less than the estimate. After they arrived one went to Home Depot for materials. This was good because the crew knew exactly what wasneed. Everything was done well except the caulking needed some smoothing when we inspected the work.

Went very well but it took a while to paint because of cold weather.

Great! He arrived on time and was busy the whole time.... removing the old base board in two bedrooms and closets, cutting new base boards and reattaching the shoe molding. He even cut down the trash and bagged it up so I could take to the curb. I am very happy with how the rooms look. Thank you.

They removed the bird's nest and placed netting around the area to prevent the birds from building again. The netting was not sufficient. I called and they came back to redo the barrier. That worked for a while but the birds were determined to reclaim their space. I called again and they returned with a much sturdier solution. Third time was the charm. It has held up for the six months. JW Home Improvment did not charge me for the second and third visits. Although it would have been nice to have it done right the first time, they certainly were willing to work until they got it right. I did have a few issues with follow up.

They fixed it quickly and efficiently.

Not well. Provider never called to make an appointment after I emailed and left a message for an appointment. When I called, was told they had to do two steps to provide an appointment: do estimate then I had to call to get an available appointment the following week. Since I needed the job done ASAP, I do not want to use this provider. Thus, please refund my money. I told the provider I will not use them but someone more responsive!

salesman/owner came out in advance and spoke with my wife and was only concerned with increasing the price. He would not even give a list of supplies needed to the techs who came out a couple of weeks later so they were prepared.

I bought voucher from angies list and it says clearly that balance I need to pay at the time of task. But these people asked me to pay balance before even schedule and appointment. How can I pay $200 before even getting an estimate? What if I do not want to proceed after knowing the total cost of job? Am I going to lose my $200? Final word, I cancelled the voucher.
