Tried numerous times to reach to this contractor, thru AL and their own website. In spite of all that they never responded, going all the way back to Feb 22 til now they never so much as sent a text. You would think a company that size would hire enough humans to answer the bloody phone. They will never touch my home even if they were the last contractor on planet earth.

they did a great job, and they always do a wonderful work.

Work went smoothly and quickly. Space was put back as Johann found it. Outstanding individual.

This is the second time we have used JW Home Improvements. We called for an estimate and Jesse Wertjes was able to schedule and give us an estimate in just a few days. We had an interior bathroom which had never had a fan vented to the outside and we had not been able to use the shower in that bathroom. The job required installing a fan and venting the fan through ceiling and walls to an exterior wall. We also had some damage to drywall and tile due to a small leak in another bathroom and we wanted to have that drywall and tile replaced and properly grouted and caulked. Bob Brown determined what needed to be done to vent the bathroom properly and Ever and another employee did the work. The venting was very good but we felt that the fan installed was not powerful enough and too loud. They found a more powerful, quieter fan and the bathroom is now fully functional -- a big improvement! The drywall and tile repair was also completed well and we see no sign of water leakage. We have been very impressed with the professionalism and quality work we have received from JW Home Improvement, especially from Jesse, Bob and Ever. We appreciated that they did not argue with our issue with the fan and were willing to find another. We recommend them to others and would not hesitate to use their services again

I am a real estate agent and deal with a lot of contractors. I have hired JW on several different house projects over the last 5 years. They are a step above other service providers. They always show up on time and prepared, from the first estimate to getting the job done. Estimates are quick, and turnaround time for getting work done is fast also. They also keep the properties they work on very clean and clean up after. They also guarantee their work, though have not had to have them come back once they finished their work. I will continue to recommend this company as they are one of the best around.

Terrific! The folks were prompt, problem-solving, multiply talented, and quick to respond to suggestions. For homeowners who are not handy, and who need a variety of problems solved, these guys are great.

After my previous review indicated some puzzlement about the lack of a final accounting regarding the charge to my credit card, Doug called me the following day and we got to the bottom of what had happened. Basically, the technican had damaged an under-cabinet light that needed to be replaced at the company's expense, so they had left the charge open pending the the final cost accounting for the light replacement and labor. This in no way should be construed to reflect poorly on the excellent technician (Chris). The fact that the follow-up from Doug was so prompt and sympathetic speaks volumes about the company's customer service ethic, so rare to see these days.

Very happy with the work performed. The handyman, Brandon was extremely courteous and did an awesome job of fixing a few broken things in our townhouse. Very reasonably priced as well.

Kevin and Josue did an absolutely beautiful job installing crown molding and touch up drywall in our bar room. They arrived on time and were professional and worked very well as a team. Once finished they made sure everything was clean and in order and we appreciated that enormously. We will definitely request the two them for other projects in the future.

The entire process was pleasant and professional, from Jessie providing the quote, and especially to Juhan performing the work. Juhan's workmanship was outstanding, and he paid attention to every detail. There were a number of cutouts including a window that were required, plus the window well also required repaneling. The finished look is excellent. He left the area spotless. A week after completion, we contracted JW Home Improvement and Juhan to perform additional work to replace the ceiling and walls in a bathroom that were water damaged by leaks in an upper bathroom (that is pending).

the initial tech came out to review the work to be performed, once he looked at the depth of the work to be done. the walked me through what hade to be done and the cost, then we setup and date and time the work would begin and how long it would take to complete the work. everything was done very timely and efficiently

Extremely well! He reset the post in concrete, used a level, and flattened the dirt that had been dislodged.

Asked for $50 just to give an estimate and said I had to pay even if I didn't hire them for the job. I passed and scheduled two other companies who are happy to provide estimates free of charge.

Chris Brown was assigned to our project and he was extremely professional. He was patient with my puppy who kept trying to help and supervise his work. He was efficient and considerate. He took extra steps such as wiping away finger prints on the ceiling from where he installed the new lighting fixtures and removing all residual trash from the boxes/packaging. I was very pleased with his work and will probably request him by name for any future home projects.

Alberto and Javier were at my house for 2.5 days. I work from home, so I was surprised how quiet they were...that's good because I live in a condominium community with strict rules about noise levels. They worked tirelessly and took care in everything they did to make it look as good as possible. I'm much further along toward selling my home. Thanks again JW!

I've had a number of projects done by Jesse/crew. The work was always completed on time and they were definitely very efficient. Work had to be done on exterior of house and the garage ceiling needed improvement, several new light fixtures and some siding had to be fixed. The crew is great and always friendly. I will call them should small or large projects come up. I recommend JW for anyone.

It went well. I paid for two workers for 8 hours. The crew that came was able to get a lot accomplished in that time. They did some blocking to prep the ceiling, hung the drywall, and taped the joints. I had done a lot of the work up until that point myself, but didn't have the ability to do the ceiling work (needs two people). I thought the hourly rate for the crew seemed high, but they did accomplish a lot. Jesse, the owner, was very helpful instructing me on exactly what I should have (materials) so that the crew wouldn't have to waste time running to the hardware store. In the end, I would use them again if I found myself in a situation where I needed an extra couple of hands.

Alfredo and Pedro arrived slightly early, were cheerful, efficient, and did a good job. I would be happy for hire them to do future work. I have used JW before and had a similar experience with the quality of the company's staff.

Bill and Justine did a great job and addressed all the issues quickly.

Cesar and Luis showed up on time and worked consistently to clear our attic of excess insulation from a previous project and then cut and nail the plywood flooring. Because of wiring, they had to notch the wood to make the flooring fit snugly. They were unable to finish in one day because of the asbestos, but arrived the following morning to finish the job and were done by noon. The cost was high, but it is a professional job.

Mr. Christopher Brown was very professional, courtesy and well knowledge of his job. He completed his job in a timely manner and was on time for work. If I need any work done I will be requesting that your office can send Mr. Brown again. Thank you

Kevin appears to have done an excellent job. I called Friday, they came out and did the work the Saturday, and I repainted Sunday.

We are repeat consumers with this company — they are great. They worked with us on the schedule and, critically, they send very competent handyman. I had a tricky project — create a removable hatch door to reveal the ceiling-mounted heat pump in an upstairs closet. How to do this so that it was sturdy but not too expensive was the trick. I trust these guys and told them what I wanted and let the handyman create the solution. And it worked great. Always take these guys’ advice! They know what they are doing. I redemmed one of these 4 hours for $399 deals and the guy worked quickly and there was time for another odd jab (caulking in the shower). I think for four hours of work, with all the supplies and tools, the price was reasonable and the work was well done. I can do small jobs myself but when I need greater expertise, it’s money well-spent to use these guys. Their works on prior jobs have stood the test of time.

At first I had issues with the work and the number of hours charged, however Brian at JW called me to listen to my concerns. After understanding what my issues were, he went above and beyond to resolve these issues. JW does high-quality work and charges consistently with that type of work. I will definitely use them in the future and definitely recommend them.

I was told over the phone that I didn’t count as a previous customer because I never had work done. So I was sent an email with a false claim for an estimate discount. They have lost my business and I will be telling our neighborhood group as well to avoid this hoity toity company that obviously cares more about getting their estimate fee than actually serving customers.
