The two moves went well. I have heard horror stories about companies only sending 2 people when the job requires more. They sent exactly the number needed to efficiently move me and my family in half a day. They took care of my furniture during the pick up and drop off. They guys who delivered were experienced hence the time efficiency. I highly recommend JK Moving for any local or storage requirements.

We were very happy with JK Moving and our move. We packed our own stuff and hired them to move it. They arrived right on time and worked extremely hard until the job was done. We have a lot of stuff (and a lot of stairs at the move-in address) and they did a great job. All six of the movers were extremely nice and very careful with our stuff and our home. Nothing was broken and they were very careful to make sure they put everything where I wanted it in the new house. Anything they had to dismantle, they put back together very carefully at the new house. We would happily recommend them. Moving is not fun, but they made it as easy as it could be. I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but nothing did. I was amazed.

The move went very smoothly due to the expertise and professionalism of the crew led by Marcos from JK Moving Services. The estimator, John, took note of my concerns with protecting the wood floors and glass top dining room furniture. I also needed items moved to a nearby storage facility which also went very smoothly. Also, a coordinator, Helen, was provided that I could talk to about any concerns during the move which was reassuring. I highly recommend JK Moving Services.

They moved all of my furniture and belongings in a four bedroom house from Maryland to West Palm Beach, FL. I was very nervous about finding a good HONEST mover. Several friends recommended JK and they were right. They sent a rep to my house to look at all my belongings before providing me with an estimate. And the estimate turned out to be just a few hundred pounds over the final weight. I can't say enough great things about JK, everything went great from loading to unloading. Their staff was very nice, polite and professional and they have their own fleet of trucks. The contacted me numerous times to check on how things were going and to make sure that everything was being done right. |I could not have done better than with JK.

They were prompt and professional. They also did not break anything. I would definitely recommend them.

JK is somewhat more expensive than other moving companies but they are VERY familiar with the area and with individual apartment complexes in the area which gave me peace of mind worth the $$. We moved a living room, kitchen and three bedrooms from a house in Vienna to a high-rise apartment in Crystal City. Movers were very professional. We had packed up most everything in our own boxes (egg boxes from grocery stores are free and fantastic moving boxes!) so we didn't have the cost of boxes or packing. We didn't have to pack clothes because the movers shrink wrapped all the dressers with clothes in them and packed the hanging clothes into wardrobe boxes. They were very efficient both picking up and delivery. They arrived about a half hour early, which was fine.

Came early in the time frame for arrival. Set up bed and placed furniture as requested. Moved all prepacked boxes carefully. No breakage. Were helpful with other residents of the condo as the truck and ramp interrupted some normal paths in and out of the building. Kept area clean and closed and locked up all doors as before. Worked quickly. The price was a bit higher than in other listings, but the price didn't go up per hour (oh, that price was for one worker), and they were finished in 3 hours.

Beautiful. Great. Wonderful. Best movers I have ever had. They were very competent. They were on time, polite, respectful of my goods. They explained the process and were very efficient.

Overall these guys did a wonderful job but I can't help but feel that they took a job that should have taken 6 hours at most and sandbagged it to last 8.5 hours. Our townhouse wasn't all that full of stuff and I moved all of the fragile things myself in our vehicles and yet it still took them over 8 hours to complete the job. They wrapped everything very securely and padded the walls which is where about 3 hours of the time went. In the end I think it would have been cheaper for me to pay to repair anything they might have broken than to pay them $195 per hour to wrap and unwrap furniture. Definitely not the cheapest around but I scheduled them with less than 2 weeks notice until my move and they accommodated me 100% and did a great job at that. Would I use them again? In quality I would say definitely yes but in price I would most likely shop around. I'm sure the end of the month and the late notice contributed greatly to the cost but in my opinion a move of this caliber shouldn't have cost me any more than $1200 at most from a reasonable company but when you find out that your house is closing in less than 2 weeks then you have to take what you can get.

Not very professional. they stole an expensive radio we had and were found using my own hand truck without my permission! What were we paying them all that money for if they weren't using their own equipment to move us ? We contacted the office after we realized that the radio was missing awhile later after the move and they said they couldn't do anything about it !

They came on time, were quick, but not in a way that endangered any property. The gentlemen who did the work were professional and nice to work with.

Tina was excellent in setting up the move date and in approximating the cost. The moving team of Roy, Melvin, Jason and Geibi were phenomenal, arriving exactly at 0800 as promised. They professionally wrapped, disassembled and moved everything efficiently, with no damage to the house or items. They'll be moving us into our new home once it's completed in August. They were great with our move 20 yrs ago when I was in the Navy, and they remain excellent. A very well managed company. After years of Navy moves, seeing many other movers, we wouldn't use anyone else.

JK Moving services staff provided excellent customer service at every stage of the process, from initial consultation through completion of the move. Shirley Perotta was our moving coordinator, and she was diligent in keeping us informed throughout the process. Jose Flores was the crew leader, and he and his team did work that was beyond exemplary. Their dedication, careful handling, and work ethic were very impressive. My wife and I were stunned at how efficient the team was in completing the move, and we could not have been more impressed with the quality of service we received from the moving crew. JK Moving Services provided a top-notch moving experience, and we would highly recommend them, and specifically the Jose Flores crew. Outstanding work!

JK was at the top of the list from both my co-op building manager and my real estate agent – and I now understand why . The move itself was professional and precise, with a courteous, can-do crew. They used smarts and leverage, not just brute force, and packaged some odd pieces I had resigned to transporting myself. During the move, my wood floor suffered a gouge. A week later, when a JK staffer phoned to survey my moving experience, I mentioned the floor damage. Within hours, two other JK folks phoned, and less than 24 hours later, a two-person JK team arrived and expertly repaired the floor. I had not contacted JK about the damage because I figured a moving company would not want to hear my complaints. JK exceeded not only my expectations but my imagination.

The crews were great, both (Packers and Movers) were on time and very nice. They worked hard without excessive talk or distraction. They all came with professional quality equipment and material, completed their tasks thoroughly, and sustained great professionalism. They treated my property with care and packed everything well. My one complaint was when I called for the initial quote.... they will provide you with an and quot;Hourlyand quot; rate for the teams, (packers and shippers)... however in my example, the young lady that gave me the and quot;estimatedand quot; time to complete a move for a 3-bedroom Condo with an external storage was less than 1/2 what it really took. So the total cost was more than I had prepared for... and was somewhat misleading as I had chosen my mover based on reviews and cost.

Some was good and some was bad. The bad was delivering the goods because twice the goods were lost. The first time temporarily.

JK Moving was immensely professional, efficient and cost-effective for our residential move. We apparently had more than 25,000 lbs of furniture and boxes, and JK Moving made it seem incredibly easy. The entire crew of men were extremely nice, polite and professional - even with our kids in the house for part of the time!! They did a fantastic job. If we ever move again (although hopefully not), we will definitely use JK Moving!!

The care they took in wrapping up the furniture before they moved it was good. They didn't scratch anything.

I am quite impressed with the services provided by JK Moving, from the estimation to the unpacking in my new digs. The crew was well trained and quite amenable to taking directions. They worked carefully and expeditiously. My move came in slightly lower than the estimate because of their efficiency. One of the things that impressed me the most about JK Moving was the customer service. In the midst of the move, I received a call from a service representative to see if things were proceeding smoothly. And then the sales rep with whom I had dealt came by to inspect things. By accident, a small box was left on the truck. I discovered this on the day after my move, called the company which immediately contacted the crew which had worked my job. The box was delivered to me that afternoon.

I choose not to call a company that had a grade of "C", instead we went with a company that had an "A" and many good comments.
