Description of Work: I asked for a quote on a new geothermal system 4 months ago. My first phone call was never returned. Two weeks later I called again and this time was able to book an appointment. The guy came out, spent an hour looking at my current system and talking with me. He was friendly and professional but never sent an estimate.

Description of Work: I was experiencing total outage of my main zone heat pump, the unit & fan were not kicking on outside. Harvey Hottel had to replace an electrical component -Â I can't quite remember, a fuse? -Â on my heat pump to get the fan to kick on again. It was a quick operation.

Description of Work: The deal was $28 for a HVAC diagnostic service call. They came out and he was in a hurry and said that I need a new unit and gave me a quote and left. I was not terribly impressed with them.

Description of Work: They sub contract out to mid atlantic - which they did not tell me prior. Also I canceled my appointment to use another company - however they showed up anyway. Long story as I thought it was the company I scheduled with (truck did not say Hottel). They did give me a small discount and offered to call them off the job when the error was discovered. But I didn't want the hassle of rescheduling.
