Description of Work: There were two men on the crew. They took away a full truck load of items which we were downsizing after our son moved out. They did a fantastic job, and we also were able to use some of the items as a tax deductible donation as they would take them to local charities.

Description of Work: They were very hurried and did not take time to carefully remove objects. The dropped a bed that they hadn't taken apart properly and the metal on the bedrail gouged my hardwood floor. They did pay to fix it but I was not impressed with their haphazard approach to removing the items I needed to get rid of.

Description of Work: A recent pre-home sale cleanout they picked up several small to medium and a couple of lager used furniture and other household items for donation or disposal, plus additional mixture of junk items for disposal. We have used Donation Nation now several times over the past three years, and they have always been extremely friendly, helpful, courteous and fair in all dealings, always prompt in timing and available for communicating.

Description of Work: I had lots of stuff from house, garage and sheds that needed to be taken away. They took everything even old hose, wire, fence posts, plastic chairs, wood, etc... They picked up and loaded everything. They were very nice, very professional and very helpful. I would certainly use them again.

Description of Work: The guys arrived on time & were very prompt getting things loaded. I chose this company because they would take items others wouldn't - paint, old lawn mowers, lawn ornaments, heaters, etc. I thought their price was a little high but they took everything I wanted so I can't complain. They were very polite. Even disposed of a snake for me.

+ 0 moreDonation Nation is a wonderful non-profit that functions much like the other hauling companies (like 1-800 GOT JUNK/College Hunks Hauling Junk etc.) only they DONATE the furniture that you no longer want to organizations that need it the most and keep you stuff out of the landfill. I booked my appointment online and promptly received a call to verify the reservation. 30 minutes before the reservation Charles called and said he would be there (he was on time which was great!) and removed my furniture. The website is great because you can see exactly how much it will cost to remove your stuff (unlike many other companies) and book your appointments. The best part is you can WRITE OFF YOUR DONATIONS when you do your taxes (which of course you would not be able to do with the other companies)! The service was easy to set up, they were courteous and their prices are extremely competitive (the quote I got from 1-800 GOT JUNK was almost $100 more!). I would highly recommend you give this company a shot! PS: They do business and total home clean-outs as well!
