They were lifesavers! We had them come to our house to remove unwanted items after a yard sale and before an upcoming move. They packed items in boxes they brought with them. We just pointed out the items we wanted removed in various parts of the house and they took care of the rest! They were prompt, friendly, professional, efficient, hard-working and thorough. I would highly recommend Donation Nation to anyone needing items removed from their home.

These people are amazing. They took super care of the furniture and did an amazing job at protecting walls and the property. They were friendly, helpful, and very easy to work with.

Description of work: Donation Nation removed many unwanted items for donation from my five-level split home. Items included an upright freezer, very large decorator mirror, treadmill, bookcase, heavy glass top to a cocktail table, walnut desk, window shutters, entertainment center, and some small decorator items. Member comment: I purchased a big deal some time ago because I'm trying to cleanout my house of unwanted items and downsize. After I finally had a list of items to donate, I called Charles Bailey, the contact at Donation Nation, on a Monday to schedule the pickup and I was pleasantly surprised to find the scheduling so easy. They scheduled the pickup for the following Thursday at 9 a.m. and called at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday to say they were outside. Getting rid of the shutters was an afterthought and I asked if they could take them down. They removed the shutters from the windows and took them away too. Mr. Bailey and his helper were professional, efficient, and helpful. It was a positive experience all around and I will definitely use them again.

It went well. This is the second time that I've used this company. On both occassions, they were prompt, courteous and efficient.

It couldn't have gone better. I first phoned Mr. Bailey to ask some questions, which were responded to thoroughly and politely. Based on that, we purchased the Big Deal coupon for $123, which was good for 1/2 a truck's worth of junk removal. Not knowing the size of the truck, it was hard to know how much space our stuff would take up, so we were prepared to pay more if need be, since what we had was large. The appt. was for 9:00 a.m., but they arrived early, at 8:45, after calling and seeing if coming early would work for us since they made good timing. From the moment they came in, they were entirely pleasant, professional, respectful of our home, and very careful with how they took items out of the house to safequard our home. The item we were not sure how they'd manage wa a very long/large pool cover in our backyard, on a large reel. They were able to carry it to the front of the house, and then used tools to dismantle it so it would fit on the truck. Although they do pack very tightly to maximize the space used, we did fill up the entire truck, so Mr. Bailey applied our coupon to the balance, This company is passionate about recycling and green practices, which is a big plus in my book. They will donate whatever they can, and give you a receipt for tax purposes if you want it or need it. The entire matter took less than 40 minutes. I was very impressed with how these 2 young men worked, their obvious work ethic, their pleasant , polite manner, and their professionalism. Everyone should approach their work in this manner. Could not give them a better endorsement, and they will be my first call when I next need this service.

The guys who came out to haul the stuff away were so nice and helpful. They even went above and beyond by removing something wierd and unidentifiable that was behind all the junk (I couldn't look at it- they were my heroes). They got everything done in record time, and now I can use my garage for what it was designed for- my car!

They are very responsive- they confirm the appointment more than once, they also accommodated a change to another day with no problem. They called when they were on their way. The two young men who came were polite and fast, and they print out a receipt for the donated items on the spot. They made the whole process very easy.

They arrived promptly and worked cheerfully and efficiently. We're totally satisfied.

I bought the Big Deal and essentially scheduled the junk pick-up for the next day via the email I received within 10 minutes of buying it. The email said I would get a confirmation call re the date and time I selected. I waited a good part of the day for the call then called them myself. Since the purchase of the deal and the scheduled pick-up were happening within basically a 24-36 hour time frame, I wasn't faulting them for not calling me, rather I thought it prudent to call under the circumstances, The pickup time was verified and The next day they arrived promptly and my junk was gone!

The two men who came were very professional and very prompt. They indicated they would be there by 10:00am and they were! They got to work immediately and determined what was to be hauled away. They gave me a paper printed receipt and not some scribbling as other companies have. Will definitely use them again!

Provider showed up on time and performed task as needed. Removed all property in one trip and left me a receipt for the value of what was donated. Very good work.

Experience was superior overall. Conner and Pierre arrived timely and quickly and efficiently hauled away the items donated. A provider computer outage delayed issuing a receipt for the donated goods but this problem was corrected. Highly recommend this provider.

They could fit everything in their truck. They said the favorite part of their job was finding people to give other people's donations to. So I hope they found good homes for my stuff.

Excellent service by Sean and Ryan. They were early and punctual, quick to finish the junk removal, and cleaned up after the completion of the job. They were very personable and we discussed future junk removal using Donation Nation. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend using them for work.

I would definitely would use this service again. The 2 guys were very professional, friendly and efficient. The company shirts/dress code added a level of profesionalism to the experience. I would give the experience an A+, except they encountered several traffic delays which caused a 45-minute late arrival (a common event in the DC area at rush hour). But I appreciated the updates from the team. The true mark of a quality company is when there's a bump, such as a delay, they know how to smooth it over. I tried Donation Nation b/c of an Angie's Coupon, but I will definitely use them again for future hauling needs. It was an easy and good experience.

I needed to have some large furniture items removed from my house. I contacted them and arranged the pickup date. They showed up exactly on time and provide courteous an professional service. I highly recommend this company.

Fabulous. Couldn't have been better.

It took only a day to arrange a date. They came before the designated time but called to say they were in the drivway and would be ready to start at the set time. There were 3 workers and they don't waste time. They looked at what I had and estimated about 1/3 of the truck. I kept adding things and they kept smiling. By the time we were finished the truck was full! I like that they try to use or donate what they can so that it doesn,t go straight to the landfill.

The job was done so well that there isn't really much to say. A crew of two arrived precisely on time. They collected a variety of items from furniture and toys to excess gardening materials. They were professional and friendly. They provided an itemized receipt of all items collected. I was so impressed that I purchased another Big Deal to use this Summer.

It probably couldn't have gone any better. When I bought the deal, I very quickly received a message to schedule, which I thought was great! After scheduling, I received a confirmation call. And on the day of service, they called to tell me precisely when they would arrive. They were punctual, efficient and it was so easy I don't know why I didn't do it sooner.
