It was fine. He never got me a receipt even though he promised but that's how it goes sometimes. I did call him twice and I just don't want to pursue it anymore.

They were very pleasant and prompt. Among the items removed was a ping pong table and sofa, Both had to come up the basement stairs and be turned sharply to get through the door. It was a tight fit, but they worked hard to get the job done, I was very pleased with their work and with the company philosophy which centers on getting usable items to people who can reuse them, thus not adding to landfills.

This was a Big Deal, so the price was less than it would have been usually. I didn't have to wait long to set up a pick up date. They were great! Arrived on time. Called first to say they were coming. There were two young men; very polite and willing to take out whatever I needed.It was a large shed full of junk that I needed cleaned out and i was very happy to have it cleaned. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Charles is a fantastic guy! Wow is all I can say about him and Josh his assistant. Extremely professional, punctual informative and very quick and efficient. I could not be any happier. I would rate this experience as perfection.

There were several large items (beds and household items) and many bags of clothes, small appliances, and they had to work on three levels of the house to get all things gathered up and out. On both occasions, they were extremely careful not to damage any wals, etc., and they left no trash behind. They also moved a home gym set (took it apart) and two exercise bikes on their second trip, along with some other bags of household items. They worked non-stop until each job was completed - no unnecessary talking or standing around. I would definitely use this service again. Also, note that since they are operating as a donation source, we are able to use what we gave them as deductions on our tax return. They provided a detailed receipt.

Perfection!! The owner called to confirm and discuss options for pick-up, which included weekends! he arrived on Sunday promptly at the designated time and immediately began to work. He was friendly and efficient, quickly completing the task. I would hire this company again without hesitation! Highly recommended!

Scheduling and arrival went well, with only one minor mix up. Team arrived, checked out all the items to be removed, and went right to work (working hard!). Professional, courteous and efficient crews. Bagged, boxed and carried out large number of items collected over many years, and provided extra help, such as removing disc drive from computer. Packed truck to the gills, and moved it on, hopefully to others who can use the items, or to proper recycling. A great business concept. You do pay a fair amount for the service, but they do all the work for you in gathering, packing and removing "anything and everything." Which is a difficult thing to do for the average customer, something we tend to put off seemingly forever. And, at the end, they provide a printout documenting what they took, and a fair value estimate of its $ value, which is very useful for claiming charitable deductions from the IRS. I wish this non-profit venture the best of luck, and hope their services become a success and a model for others throughout the country.

This organization is fabulous. I called to have old furniture removed. They gave me an estimate over the phone and set up a convenient time. I was even a little late for the appointment with them and they waited for me. It feels so good to know that my old furniture will have a new life and help someone else out. They are an absolute awesome organization!

The team, Ryan and Charles, called before they came and were here on time. They moved everything out of the house, including dismantling a sofabed, and had it loaded into the truck within 45 minutes. They gave us a printed donation sheet for tax purposes. Everything was done efficiently and effectively with no muss or fuss. I will definitely use them again.

The service went well. The Big Deal that I purchased was for only half of a truck, so I had to pay a little bit more. The gentleman who came out were courteous.

Two gentlemen arrived on time on the scheduled day, and carried out the three very heavy items, two of which had to be carried down a long flight of stairs to their truck in our driveway. We received a check on the spot for our piano, and there was no added charge for the other items. We considered our entire experience with their service to be first class, and would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for junk hauling and removal. There were some hiccups with the scheduling but Donation Nation was very responsive and flexible. They emptied out the crawl space completely. All I had to do was point and they did the rest. The entire task took about two hours from start to finish. I was very satisfied and would use them again.

This was the coolest thing we've ever done. For several years, we have said, we need to clear out that basement. Then I found Donation Nation on Angie's List. This is just what I have been looking for. So much of the stuff in the house was in good to excellent condition but I just couldn't spend all the time needed to separate the good from the bad and then carry it all out too -- and then cart it away. I just couldn't physically do that. I called Donation Nation and booked them for the end of last week. Connor and Ryan came in at the exact designated time, introduced themselves and went to work. I was worried that we had too much to have two people move. They were so strong and nice and within one hour they had cleared out everything. They provided me with a list and value for my taxes and drove off into the sunset I can't believe how great this service was. Yes we would use this service again if we needed to. It was good to know that anything that is re-useable will be used. Thank you so much to Donation Nation. I have family in Massachusetts and Florida and all of them are mad that they don't have this company in their areas!

They pick through items and only take what they see money from. I was disappointed that I was mislead by the name of the company.they do not donate but sale everything. I paid for this service??????? Not happy.

Great they were early, efficient and polite. You would not have believed how much they were able to get on their truck!
