It could not have gone better. Donation/Nation was professional and accommodating throughout the whole process, from scheduling to pickup to providing an itemized receipt. The crew that picked up the items were wonderful and a real pleasure to deal with, very efficient and professional. Would use them again any time. A real find!

Arrived on time, very professional, all of my junk fix in the truck, very, very, very happy with Donation Nation. I plan on using them again next month, after I clean the other half of my house. Also, received a tax deduction receipt. Plus they gave me a 25% off coupon I can use next time I call them.

This is a fabulous service. We had years worth of stuff?.a lot of junk, but also a lot of usable items which needed good homes, including a piano and a freezer. Charles and his assistants were prompt, courteous, efficient and neat! I had separated items which I thought I might have use for and put them into a room close to our basement and left the rest for Donation Nation to take. The job was accomplished quickly, despite the fact that once a truck was filled, they drove it back to their headquarters, had it unloaded and were back within 30 minutes at the most. I couldn't believe how efficiently the trucks were loaded and how much they managed to fit onto each one. I am going to go into the room filled with the things I thought I should save, go through it and call them again to come back and get all the "maybes" that I now think should go. Donation Nation is a non-profit. They DONATE usable items. In the case of the piano (not a high quality one, but still useful) to a group in DC which is setting up a music school for underprivileged kids. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The service was very good. They were very easy to schedule and helpful. They even took stuff off the third floor without any problem. They were easy to reschedule when we had a change to the original schedule. So, it was all around a very good experience. We did not spend more than the big deal.

The service was provided at a half cost deal ($123 instead of $245). I had not noticed that the limit for that deal price was no more stuff than would fill about half the space in a pickup truck. It was my fault for imagining it would be more, but that left stuff I had wanted to remove. They offered to remove more, but would charge the full rate for the other half of the truck ($245), so I declined. The serice was on-time and quickly performed. I would give the special deal price an "A" rating but the regular price a "B" rating.

We got excellent service and plan to use Donation Nation again.

The two young men who did the work were very personable and willing to take anything I wanted them to take. They were punctual - getting to my house within five minutes of when they said they would be there. I didn't have to move anything around for them- they carried the items from each room as I pointed them out. I was pleased with all they did and would certainly use their service again.

It went very well, indeed! They arrived promptly (and on the same day I called), were very professional and exceedingly courteous. I could not believe the amount of furniture they were able to fit in their truck. Plus they gave me a printed tax receipt. I would definitely recommend their service.

They showed up and attempted to charge more than what I had already paid for the Big Deal. Thus, we chose not to use them and found another company for the work.

Very professional, came on time, took a truckload of furniture, lighting fixtures etc away for recycling. Took only a short time. Went very well.

They arrived on time, asked where the items were located and went straight to work. It took about 1-2 hours since they were cleaning out an old shed and practically took everything. We had bought a deal for 1/2 truck load haul away, Charles gave me a 3/4 truck load estimate once he saw all that was inside the shed. It was well worth the extra charge since it ended up being a full truck load of stuff. They were very efficient, polite and even cleaned up the inside of the shed once they were done. They provide you with a tax receipt that is very detailed.

We gave the vendor every opportunity to complete the job but.... We had Mr Bailey come with his staff of one , take down a large satellite dish, remove other metal items on our property, and several pieces of furniture in our home. They worked hard but had a problem with cutting down about five inches of the satellite pole from the ground. We we told that their saw broke but would be back to complete the job the following day. After two follow up calls to Mr Bailey we were told they would finish the job, DONATION NATION still has not completed the job. It is now over three weeks. Also just as important we we told that they were a 501 and we would get a receipt for the donation for tax purposes. We have never received the receipt. Would have to think twice before we would use them again and you should too.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out excellent. They came at the scheduled time, and picked everything up. They look through what is picked up, and if they find anything that they can donate, they give it to one of a couple places. Once I contacted them online, they contacted me, and asked me when I wanted it picked up, and they came as scheduled. Their price was reasonable.

Perfect! I've used the provider twice (once in April 2013 and once in September 2013), both as a result of an Angie's List Big Deal. The two teams were different, but both times they were able to come on a day and time of my choosing. On pickup days, they either showed up promptly or called ahead because they were running a bit behind. They were very efficient about removing and packing the items in their truck, considerate of the house and yard, and were just generally nice folks. What I liked best about the two Donation Nation teams I've had so far is their "can do" attitudes. (Large, heavy stuff? No problem! Many, many items both of value and pure trash? No problem; they are happy to deal with all of it! Pickup in late afternoon on a Friday? No problem; we can deal with traffic!) I plan to use Donation Nation again, with or without waiting for another coupon. In my two experiences with them, they've been excellent and I highly recommend them for clearing out "stuff"!

I highly recommend Donation Nation. We had many unwanted items piled up in our garage and shed. They came at the appointed time and packed everything into their truck. They made the entire process very easy. Plus, they helped us estimate the value of the items and provided a receipt for tax purposes right on the spot. I will definitely use them again.

I was able to schedule this service online and that was very convenient. They came right on schedule and got right to work. They removed a dresser from a bedroom and moved another dresser to replace it. They carried a lot of heavy, dirty pieces of furniture from the basement and loaded everything very compactly in the truck. I had purchased an Angies coupon for $123.00 for $245.00 worth of junk hauling which entitled me to 1/2 truck load of removal. When they pulled up at my house I was surprised to see a large pick-up truck. I was expecting something larger and I doubted they would fit even half of my items in. They totally impressed me with their packing talent and fit everything in.

The team of two arrived about 10 minutes earlier than scheduled, which was just fine. We discussed the material to be discarded, which I had tagged with yellow tape as some items were far too heavy for me to move myself. They appreciated this coding and worked very efficiently to load the truck. I used about 3/4 of a truck with the items and had purchased a coupon for a half truck. They explained the way it worked and were very fair in adjusting for the additional cost. They left me with a receipt indicating my estimate of the donated items of value. I expect to use them again soon. Everything took maximum of 40 minutes.
