In our search for a kitchen remodeling contractor, my wife did much research to evaluate several estimates in terms of prices and designs since we wanted our kitchen redesigned and reconfigured to increase its utility. After several interviews, we settled on DMV Kitchen & Bath. Our project manager, Javier Nogales, was very helpful in that he made many excellent suggestions on new designs such as cabinet types and drawers vs. roll-out shelves. DMV workers arrived on time on the first day in the schedule. During the first two days in the project, we discovered two areas of discolored floor boards in black under the sink cabinet and the old dishwasher. This damaged area caused great deal of concerns to us and, after a discussion with Javier on the subject, the discolored floor boards were replaced. There were some changes concerning types of cabinets and issues of drawers vs. roll-out shelves necessitated by our concerns. Javier again was very attentive to listen to our concerns and implemented requested changes without incurring additional expanse. Despite presence of detailed work order, there were always issues caused by ambiguity and miscommunication in this kind of project. I spent most of the days on which the DMV workers did their job in my house because I wanted to be available to observe in person and to discuss problematical areas to come up with solutions on the spot. I knew that I could not just leave a key in a lock box and expect to see everything installed and finished to our expectation when I came home at the end of the day. Javier was available to consult with us both in person and by phone. Our new kitchen has been thoroughly modernized with a new set of appliances and improved design which increased its utility greatly. I can conclude that out kitchen remodeling project was a great success not only because the DMV team performed very well but also because the client, we, was always available to consult and make detailed decisions. I would recommend the DMV to other people looking for a contractor to do kitchen remodeling. As an example, we have a full bathroom and a powder room under remodeling by the same company, DMV!

I got a very good deal, and they did an excellent job finishing the project during a reasonable time period. My house like new one right now, I am very pleasant to enjoy my house everyday. I will definitely hire them again for future projects, and strongly recommend to other customers.

The job was completed on time. Their workers took care to contain all the dust and protect the floors. Overall we are very pleased and have now engaged DMV to redo our other bathroom.

Just before Christmas my husband contracted DMV Remodeling to redo a hallway bathroom. Though the company didn’t promise to have the bathroom completed by Christmas, the representative said they would do their best. I was hesitant, but we took a chance - we had guests arriving over the holidays and would definitely need use of the bathroom. And…well…all I can say is Wow! They completed the work ahead of schedule and the transformation should have been filmed for HGTV. Not only that, but the workers were cordial and cleaned up every day making the renovation nearly painless. I’ve already recommended the company to my friends and we plan to use them again for other bathrooms and our kitchen. The nicest touch is the staff's overall politeness and willingness to make sure the work met our requirements. Bravo!

DMV's Team was very professional, Oscar and Javier and crew were fantastic. The price was Very good (I did a lot of research) . I had a bathroom built from scratch in the basement. Absolute fantastic Job. It took a few days longer but it was worth the wait. I would definitely use DMV again, maybe soon I am planning to remodel my Kitchen.

Very pleased with the time, cost, and work. Wanted to go with a small local firm for a 12 foot linear kitchen remodeling for our work site. We had a galley kitchen falling apart from water leakage, coffee stains, refrigerator condensation problems, that was the old laminate (formica style) cabinet/countertop. Javier came to the site, took measurements, and 2 days later I"m picking out granite countertops, cabinets, sink, and hardware. Oscar, who kept me informed via visits and email, throughout the project, did some detailed drawings, which I confirmed, and the process began. It took a couple weeks for the cabinets to come in, but when Alvaro and Reynaldo showed up on the site, things happened very quickly. These guys have "been there, done that", based on how quickly they worked. From totally gutting the kitchen, replacing a couple pieces of drywall, replacing some floor tiles, painting, installing cabinets, new plumbing connections, sink, countertops, and undercabinet lights, took a little over 5 days. We had to go with some different undercabinet lights, which required some drywall punch outs, but they turned this around in 1 day, complete with patching and painting. I'll definitely use them for my house, and will post another review.

We contacted DMV in September to provide us with an estimate and design idea for remodeling our kitchen. They responded with the lowest estimate and a great design. They began work in November (on a date requested by us), and completed about a month later. The workers were respectful of our space and time, and secured the kitchen as best they could to prevent dust from getting into the other areas of the home. Javier is very knowledgeable of all things kitchen, and promptly had a solution to any minor issue we had along the way. Oscar was also very nice to work with and responded quickly to any of our questions and concerns. To top it off, they were able to get us a great discount on an appliance package, much lower than we would have been able to get on our own (cost of the appliances is not included in the $20k approximation of how much we spent). We love our new kitchen, but what I like most about working with DMV is knowing that they will be quick to respond to any problems we might come across in the future. Whether it was a day after they finished, or months from now I know they will be happy to fix or resolveany issue that might crop up. That is very comforting. We are so happy with our kitchen that we are now thinking of what other renovation we could have done by DMV.

Dry walls, doors, some plumbing, wooden floor, installation of a wetbar and replacing 2 windows. I have encountered a problem with the plumbing but Javier came today to my house and said he will fix the issue which was a professional act by him.

He came in, he gave me the lowest estimate on the bathroom remodel. Said that he would come at a certain time to do the work, came when he said. He finished the work when he said he would. He took my drawings and made it reality. The price is just what he said it was going to be. I have never had an experience with a contractor like that before. He was polite and professional.

We had looked for companies to do our kitchen renovation for several months, and received wide ranges of estimates and we decided to work with DMV kitchen and bath. Javier (Project Manager), Oscar (designer) were great to deal with, both are very prompt in responding our calls and answering our questions with detail explanation. They accepted and accommodated our additional requests during the construction. The job was supposed to take 2 weeks, and it was just took two days longer. Javier and his guys were outstanding, professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They did a great job cleaning up after the day's work. Only minor issues were to put up with the dust in adjacent areas instead of their best efforts to seal the work area by plastic covers and the other was, we had some minor scratches on cabinets, but once we mentioned to Javier, the project manager, it was resolved with a phone call to replace them. Javier is very understanding and easy to work with and he does a good job of making sure you're satisfied before the job is totally done. Our kitchen looks vastly different now, and we love our new kitchen. DMV did an awesome job. We are already signing with them to remodel our bath.

We have been planning to remodel our kitchen and bathroom since 2010 but it was not easy to decide on design, the way our kitchen was lay out was not working for us. we decide to work with DMV kitchen and bath, it still took us about month to choose cabinets, tile, colors, etc. This guys were very patient from answering all our calls to coming to our home to decide on material. The designer was awesome and full of ideas. The technicians were great from start to finish. We appreciate all the hard work from this young and honest guys,and we highly recommend them for any remodeling job. Thank you Abarca Family

The company was very professional from the beginning, very clean. The desing done by Oscar and Victor was the best option to go with, since the guest bathroom had a limited space. The technicians Grover, Antonio, Orlando, Alvaro, and the project manager Javier, were very polite and clean. After each day was complete they vacuum and leave everything like nothing happened, that was very important for us. The job was complete in one week on each bathroom, we have work done on our home before with a different company, but this time was completely different, we enjoy having this guys working on our home, the cost of the total project was a little high comparing other contractors, but the customer service from this company, made us decide to go with them. I would highly recommend this company for a bathroom remodeling, They are awesome!

We did four estimates prior to DMV and none of them convince us, a friend of us recommended DMV kitchen and bath. Since the first meeting they were very good at answering question related to our kitchen project, their construction knowledge made adding and removing some walls very easy.Remodel day came and the process of the project was as described on our fist meeting. There were some minor scratches on two cabinets, but once we mentioned to Javier, the project manager it was resolved with a phone call to replace them.Their estimated time was 15 days, we got a new kitchen on 16 days. I think the extra day made no difference for the wonderful kitchen we got.We are so happy with this project that we are considering remodeling our basement next.
