Description of Work: Over three visits they removed two trees (one very large and very dead) and did some other pest/disease control work. They were prompt with estimate but I had to wait almost a month for removal of first dead tree. Hard to tell if the pest/disease control will work -- I have my doubts but the tree removal was terrific.

Description of Work: They removed a fallen tree from our backyard. They did it efficiently and left no debris on our yard. They were professional and worked quickly. Their price was the same as roaming trucks looking for business, whom we did not feel comfortable with. I would recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Services performed included: pruning and shaping a Magnolia Tree, Crepe Myrtle and several other trees. I was met by a company representative (this is my second time using Bartlett) we talked about what the work entailed, a work order was written up and reflected everything that was talked about at the visit. Prices reflected that as well. The workmen showed up in the window that was discussed and the work was done and the yard was left immaculate.

Description of Work: Prompt and professional; provided peace of mind. Heavy snows toppled part of a leyland cypress in my backyard. I was worried about the rest of the tree falling down. Bartlett explained how they could support the tree by cabling the remaining trunks together, and how they could trim the height and density of all the trees in the line to possibly prevent future damage and to promote healthy growth. Done. (The only negative is that they moved deck furniture to get to the trees and didn't put it back. First I thought the stuff had been stolen because I didn't see it in the side yard. Then I had to find somebody to help me put it back. I imagine that if I had given Scott a call, Bartlett would have sent someone to help.)

Description of Work: They cut down some branches that were going to hit our roof.

Description of Work: We had a number of trees with low hanging branches that needed pruning. They also recommended removing some black cherrys and a small oak tree which was more of a volunteer. In addition, we had damage to our holly bushes in front of the house. They recommended that we take out all the dead branches and they did some deep fertilizing. We are aware that we may still have to replace those bushes, but they were willing to make some suggestions that could avoid that. The young man who was a licensed arborist met with us was very professional and took his time explaining various aspects of the work to be done.

Description of Work: Contacted them for an estimate to remove a tree. They drove by the house, noted it would be difficult to remove the tree. When I pressed them to give me an estimate they said they would, but never did one. I telephoned several times and never got a call back.

Description of Work: We had a huge branch fall on our (new!) roof after a storm. This was at the end of the day- not only did Bartlett come out and take care of us when NO ONE else would; they charged us regular rates because they had men in the area. Bartlett may be more expensive than some others, but seriously, you get what you pay for. They were just great and worth every single penny. We would have been happy to pay emergency prices for the care and quality of work. And we are not wealthy!
