They are pretty good, responsible, and reliable. They clean up, billing is fair, timely, and they come out when ask them to. I hired them couple of times.

Chris Larkin at Bartlett Tree Experts went out of his way to accommodate our deadline to get air spading done. He visited our house several times to see if the soil was warm enough. He worked closely with our city arborist to ensure that he was able to the job done in time and by city standards. Great job, great price, excellent service. I would highly recommend.

Very well. They came when I was at work and left a detailed message. There prices were well under a competitor.

They come three times a year. I get a spring and fall evaluation, and then throughout the year they come out and take care of the pests on the bushes and things like that. I have used them for a couple of years. I would definitely use them again.

Very well. Bartlett was affordable and performed the work exactly as requested. It took several weeks to get the work scheduled but once scheduled, Bartlett's workers arrived when promised, did a good job, and cleaned up the area before they left.

Ryan responded quickly to my call for an estimate. In view of the unsafe situation, he arranged for a crew that had been doing routine clearing on a highway contract to switch to my job. The crew was courteous and efficient and completed the work more quickly than Ryan had estimated, which resulted in a discount on my bill. However, they left two stumps higher than I thought reasonable. Ryan arranged for another crew working on my neighbor's property to take care of the stumps, cutting them flush with the ground. No large job ever goes perfectly, but Ryan's readiness to fix any problems impressed me. It gives me confidence that Bartlett stands behind their work.

Got a quick and very helpful proposal for needed services. Price in range of other proposals with earlier scheduling and more realistic scope of work. Very professional work on trimming trees.

Fantastic job by Bartlett's. Crew took down two 50 foot trees in 2 hours. Cut up the wood (and even stacked it along my fence!) so I have something to burn this winter. Removed the branches/crowns and were out before I knew it. Crew were fast, nice and very professional. Would definitely use them again.

I had some frost damage to trees at my home and wanted to have Bartlett inspect and suggest a plan of action for the damage. After arranging for Mike Burke to come to my home May 8th I was contacted a few days later to reshedule for the following Friday May 15th. I was going to be out of town, but I was reassured that I didn't need to be home for Mike to inspect the trees. I waited for a report or estimate to arrive, but after almost two weeks I called their office to inquire regarding status of the inspection. I left Mike a message and followed up with another a few days later. Now an additional two weeks have passed and I still have yet to receive a condition report , estimate or return phone call. Today, June 8th, I emailed my original contact, Kim Actis, to inform her that I would no longer need their services and described my lack of service.

All tasks were well organized and done expeditiously. Staff was extremely courteous and answered all homeowner questions. They did an excellent job, cleaned up when task was finished. Cost was moderate and appropriate for work done. Would definitely use them again.

They did a good job with the service. They were very professional and on time. They gave a good estimate, and they were very detailed. I was very pleased with the service overall. I didn't list the price because I can't remember it at the moment, and I don't want to give an inaccurate amount.

A large branch from one of our trees fell during a snow storm. I called around to several tree companies, but none was willing to take on our job unless we were an "existing customer." Bartlett was willing to take on the job, and I give them credit for being willing to do it. I told Bartlett on the phone that the job was relatively small, and could be accomplished by one person in a couple hours. They said they would send someone. Instead, they sent two people. The work they performed was fine. They cut up and removed the branch and debris within 75 minutes. (I was taking some pictures of the work for insurance purposes, so I know exactly when they arrived and left.) They had taken my credit card when I booked the job, so a few days later I received an invoice and a note saying my credit card would be charged. I was surprised to see that the bill was $945 and detailed that they had supposedly spent NINE manhours on the job. I complained, and they called back to explain the hours included prep and travel time. I said, even with that, NINE hours was a gross exaggeration. (I don't know it for a fact, but I would guess that they thought anything over my $500 deductible would be covered by my insurance, so I wouldn't argue about it..) They eventually said they'd cut me a deal and charge only $600. I accepted the reduction, but hardly considered it a gracious move on their part. They were caught cheating. Their approach was not only unprofessional, but they lost the opportunity for the much bigger job of taking down the large tree the branch had fallen from. I used someone another company.

We highly recommend them. We used them for a long time for a variety of things and we find them to be extremely reliable and have had excellent experience. They are not just tree trimmers they are arborist so there is someone knowledgeable leading the staff. I have been using them for probably 20 years. I think the skill level of the arborist, the work ethics of the crew who come to do the work, the involvement that they have with the home owners, they listen to what the home owner has observed what they are asking them to be done, they give a contract and they follow through what they said they were going to do. We have a number of trees that we have had fertilized by them every year because we are in an older neighborhood with the trees older itself and we try to work hard to maintain that house. Price wise they are a little higher than an ordinary tree company because they have the knowledge ability. We have a sick fig tree; he came back like every month to check on it.

I'm about to call them again. It was fantastic. They came in, did the job, cleaned up and it was awesome. What stood out about them is their professionalism, the way they cleaned up and didn't leave a mess in the yard. The River birch have lots of little branches. They could have left branches in the yard but they didn't. They had me waiting for someone else to get their thing done before they came and do mine.

The cost was just under $5,000. I used them again for pruning and rejuvenating azaleas around the house. The arborist representative, Scott Kaplan, is knowledgeable and responsive. He offers suggestions, and is comfortable and pleasant to work with. With the exception of the tree removal, where the Bartlett estimate was similar to another, I have not compared prices.

They have done a number of different things. They did an excellent job.

We had Josh Nadler come out. He was very professional and knowledgeable. All work was done as he described it would be. He also offered some other services (fertilizing) but there was absolutely no pressure to get those services. After the job was completed Josh continued to share his knowledge with us to help with a bug problem. We will use Bartlett Tree Service again and ask for Josh.

One of the later jobs was to put a cable between two large trunks of the Maple tree so a storm would not cause the tree to split. They do excellent work, are on time, always clean up. The price seems a little high at times but we pay for quality.

Arborist was very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. He took the time to explain his findings and answer my questions. Quote was high compared to others.

The tree looked better in the spring, but it was continuing to die back and we made the choice to have it cut down.

A huge tree removed safely and completely without damage to house or landscaping

A tree service company suggested taking a large oak down because of root damage. I contacted Bartlett to get a second opinion. The fellow who came to assess the situation advised not removing the tree but suggested feeding all trees on the property and treating the tree with root damange. I signed a contract and the treatment began. The tree with root damage responded well and the others have been fed. Bartlett performed the work on time and in a very professional manner. I am completely satisfied with their service.
