All went well. I felt comfortable enough after their first day of work to give them a key to work the second day without supervision. I appreciated the realistic assessments of what was possible and where the risks were. I trusted that they cared enough to do a good job. Plus they were fun to be around.

Joe and Ashley arrived when scheduled. Joe looked at list and I went over with him what I needed. They proceeded to divide up the projects and get to work. He had a toolbox and was able to supply the screws, bolts, etc., needed to fix things like a cabinet door falling off, etc. I had about 12-14 things that needed to be fixed and all were done to my satisfaction. I've already begun a new list!!

I hired X-ACT Builders (Joe, Chuck and Ashley) to complete some handyman projects. When the house/garage was built, we chose not to install an attic ladder to the space above the garage. However, there as an opening already there. I purchased an aluminum attic ladder from HomeDepot that required the opening be expanded to accommodate it. In addition, I had previously purchased and assembled an arbor and a front porch swing that needed installation. Joe and his team are extremely professional. His communications with me in scheduling the work, directing me on what would need to be purchased, etc. were very prompt and informative. Joe is a master carpenter and very knowledgeable about this craft. They ran into a couple unexpected issues. For example, our home/garage is a modular home and the size of the framing boards used in the garage attic were larger than normal not to mention there were 9-12 nails in each joint which had to be taken out to remove the old framing when he enlarged the opening. The team completed all the work in 5-1/2 hrs. They cleaned up each work area when finished. Everything looks great and we're very happy. I would highly recommend X-ACT Builders for any projects (small or large) that you have around your home.

They did the work perfect ,and finished everything on time. They are Accurate,dependable and honest.

Two hours or handymen service really means TWO guys in your house for ONE hour. I had no problem with that. They worked fast to get the job done. I love the fact that I did not have to wait for months to get the neighborhood handyman into my house to do the little tasks. All I would say is accumulate your tasks to get your monies worth. This crew worked fast and re insalled a bi fold door, re piped my dryer vent, fixed my heavy closet sliding door, and fixed a kitchen door drawer and that annoying panel that fell off at the kitchen sink. They were done so fast, next time I will have them replace all these annoying light bulbs in my kids closet that are a pain in the a*** to replace.

Everything went very well, I was pleased.

1st, I will say that it worked, so ultimately, that is the important thing- It just rained, and no water got into the house! The downspout was fixed, but it doesnt look the best. I was also expecting a little more dirt to be brought in to regrade the dirt. Aside from that, the price was a little high, but not unreasonable. They did get the work done earlier than expected, they were professional, on time, and responsive. He also sent pics of the work he was doing when I wasnt there. I definitely appreciate that. I will also say that I initially asked him just seal the edge, and he nicely pointed out that probably would not work, so I defintiely appreciate them pointing that out and making sure the job was done right rather then just doing what I told them. Overall, nice work, and will use them again when I have mroe work to do.

He contacted me quickly after my initial inquiry and we set up a time/date to meet. He assessed the problem, told me what he needed to do and did it. Voila!! Very quick and professional. Arrived on time and when he was done told me if I had any further issues to call and he would return. Since I didn't use all the time I'd bought with the deal, he asked if there was more he could do around the place. All in all, a good experience. Will definitely call X-Act again if I'm in need of his services.

We are so happy with the job that they did for us. We knew what we wanted and sketched it out for them. When they didn't have a few of the correctly sized boards to build with, they went back out to get what we needed and didn't charge for the extra time. We will definitely recommend them to all our neighbors who need carpentry work done.

X-Act Builders (Joe Spagnolo is the manager) worked with us to design these two bathrooms. He kept costs within budget and provided excellent service. Work was completed on time. In the process of this work, our garage door finally conked and we added replacement of the garage door and wireless controls to the job. I would definitely use this company again.
