Description of Work: Mike arrived as scheduled at 8:00 AM to replace some rotted trim around three exterior doors, attempt to resolve a water intrusion problem at the top of the foundation under the front door, and replace the weather seal at the base of the front door. He took some measurements, left for a short while to purchase material, then started to work. Upon removing front door trim and the siding on each side, he discovered much more extensive rot that could be seen externally. He replaced some rotted 2x4s and the plate under them, replaced all of the remaining rotted wood with PVC material that will not rot in the future, and sealed everything tightly to prevent future water intrusion. Then, he replaced the weather strip on the front door, ensured the door threshhold could be adjusted, set it to the correct height, and replaced remaining rotted wood on other doors. Even though the amount of work was more extensive than foreseen, at the end of the day the bill came out to somewhat less than his original time estimate. The finished job looks great. Mike and Handyman Matters did a wonderful job, and I plan to call on them in the future for home repairs. I would recommend them to anyone!

+ 0 moreHandyman Matters gets As all the way. They were punctual and efficient. One guy trimmed the lattice work out even better than I had hoped for. They have a motto that they will do your work within 48 hours and they certainly did for me.
Description of Work: They installed lattice work on the bottom of a shed that was built on a slope so the work was fairly tricky.

Description of Work: Contacted Handyman Matters to finish the installation of a ceiling fan and exterior security light. Handyman very promptly sent a licensed electrician who discovered that there was some faulty wiring for both the ceiling fan and security light. He traced the wiring for the ceiling fan and very efficiently fixed it.

+ 1 moreTHE TWO GUYS WERE GOOD ABOUT CALLING IF THEY WERE GOING TO BE LATE. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB. THEY MADE SURE THINGS WERE SWEPT UP. I EVEN HAVE THEM COMING TO DO WORK ON MY WINDOWS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.
Description of Work: THEY REMODELED THE BATHROOM BY REMODELING AND REFINISHING THE SINK AND THEN TOUCHED UP THE SHOWER BY INSTALLING NEW TILE IN IT. THEY ALSO TOUCHED UP MY CLOSET BY PUTTING NEW INSULATION AND PLYWOOD IN IT. THEY REPAINTED THE SKIRT ON MY DECK TOO.
