We had a tub that was stripping pretty badly, along with 1950's floor and wall tile that was discolored and cracked in a lot of places. Larkin was very responsive throughout the whole scheduling process and was even kind enough to let me come to their office to pick up sample tiles that were prefinished in the textured colors because I was unable to make a decision! Dennis was the technician and he worked two very long days, resulting in an amazing bathroom that looks better than I could have imagined! The only problem we've had with the quality is that something caused a tiny chunk of the finish to come off on the tub where we stand for the shower (and I mean a chunk - it seems like every layer of the finish down to the primer is gone) and we can't figure out what caused it :( Other than that, we loved working with Custom Tub & Tile and have already recommended their services to our family and friends!

Well, at first it looked great and I loved it except for a nickel sized blemish. About 2 months later when it hadn't changed or gone away I called the company and wanted someone to come and take a look. Was told it would cost $75 which could be applied to any work to be done and that the spot could be soap scum or dirt. I made sure that I used Scrubbing Bubbles as it was recommended and never used a shower cleaner containing Clorox. The technician told me that I could use a shower cleaner without Clorox. I don't have any shampoo etc. bottles on the edge of the tub that aren't plastic. The sealant is peeling badly around the edge. I would say that this company hasn't perfected their process.

The quality of the work and the person who did the work I would rate as excellent. When we called them and arranged for the work to be done, my wife handled it all, and basically what she did was she arranged for them to come out. The people that we spoke with, everything went smoothly, and we were pleased with the way that went. Our calls, the promptness of the replies and everything. But, after we had the tub coated, we didn't have them put a non-slip surface on the bottom of the tub, and we thought, "Well, maybe we should do that." And then when I got online, I noticed that the same time period that we made the call and they came out to do the service for us, they had an offer for, I think it was actually less than we paid just to have the tub surfaced, you could get the nonslip service added as part of that service. Now what we did is I just inquired as to get the non-slip installed after the fact, and they said, "No problem, we can do it within about six months, anytime within about six months of getting the tub done, but it would cost $100 additional." We just decided not to do it. It doesn't seemed like we needed it, but it was just one of those little things that had we decided we needed it, we would have wound up paying an extra a hundred-some dollars. The reason I say to give the A is because the service they put on basically doesn't seem to need, as far as I'm concerned, a non-slip bottom applied.

It looked beautiful and the technician did a great job in detail, caulking, and resurfacing.

The customer service and support leading up to and after the lob was excellent. The job went very well. My wife and I are very happy with the job. The tub looks brand new and the new caulking job was much better than the old one. They leave you with a handout that tells you how to clean the newly resurfaced tub, which products to use and which ones not to use. The job took less than 4 hours to complete, so it went fast. The odors generated during the resurfacing were efficiently directed through a large tube out through the bedroom window to the outside so that the entire house did not smell. They did an excellent job and the cost was very reasonable, especially compared to alternatives like replacing the tub.

We were very pleased it was a wonderful job. We would give them top marks for everything, and we would recommend them to all of our friends. In fact I did recommend it and she did it. Custom Tub and Tiles had the same price for the same service so we hired them and we were very pleased.

They did an excellent job. They took an old cast iron tub that had never been refinished and made it look like new. Also, the technician removed multiple layers of grout and that part of my shower looks like new as well. The technician was courteous, timely, and professional. Note that if you have a tub refinished, you are limited on the types of cleaners that you can use afterwards, so it takes a little more elbow grease to clean the tub.

Fine. Process was smooth. Working with the company was easy. They came (barely) within the time window they said they would and finished the work in the timeframe they said they would. No complaints.

Their price was fair and they got the quote to me quickly. They were very easy to work with and I plan to work with them on future projects.
