The bathroom was finished wonderfully. It truly looked brand new. They called prior to arrival, wore shoe covers, and explained all the details of the work.

When they called to schedule the appointment, they were very courteous and friendly. The lady I spoke to was very open about what the voucher covered, and what any additional services would cost. It turns out that I had to have the tub stripped before reglazing, so I paid extra for that. She was also very clear on what I needed to do in preparation for the work. They sent confirmation and reminder emails, and also called to ensure that I was still okay with the scheduled date. Dennis arrived early and did a complete, thorough job. He was very careful about venting the fumes properly, and let me know about any additional work that he needed to do before he did it. When he was done, he cleaned up after himself and gave me clear instructions on how to care for the tub. My bathtub looks beautiful and i am very pleased with the work.

Everything went just as stated with the vendor. The big decision with this process is do you want to do it all, or is it better to buy a new tub. Only time will tell. This is because you have to treat the resealed tub very differently than an original tub, e.g., no bleach for cleaning (but scrubbing bubbles is OK), no suction cups on bath mats (I still can't find one without suction cups and bought one that I thought didn't have them, but it does). No shampoo bottles in corners of tub. Perhaps, the vendor should provide you with the recommended type of bath mat and tell you where to get them in the future. I was worried about the toxic smells but they were very careful to vent the room and it was not bad at all. Carlos was very friendly and professional.

The repairman was very courteous and respectful. He was polite in answering my questions without any hesitation to response. He knows is craft.

Email communication with company. No issues. However, I am no longer in need of the service.

When I talked to the service provider I realized this wasn't the service I was looking for. They were pleasant and professional.

Straight and to the point, I have already referred friends and family members to Custom Tub service; from the beginning the gentleman that arrived was on time, he was neat, and friendly with sharing experiences with different types of tubs etc. I am very happy to know Angie's List have me the hook up that I needed and I saved money....which truth be told is where this all started - saving money. Received a special introductory offer. Arrived on time. Extremely courteous gentleman and very professional. Very conscientious about his work. Did an exceptional job. Very happy with results. Absolutely would use them again.

They kept the area very clean despite all of the powder involved in the process. I had very little clean up for myself to manage. Their process to refinish the tub seems to be best technology type of process.

I just want to highlight that from beginning to end, everyone at the company was great. The scheduler, Jackie; the owner, Chris; and the technician, Dennis; were all great to work with and very responsive to our questions/concerns. They gave me all the information about the process that I might need upfront and even came back out to finish the job after we discovered a plumbing problem along the way. It's only been a few weeks since the work was completed, but I am hopeful that the resurfacing treatment will be an effective solution --- the tub looks as good as new! Thanks to a great team and I highly recommend this service and this business.

They're not professional. Before ever explaining what work they will be doing, they ask for your credit card number and security code in case you cancel. I didn't feel comfortable giving them my security code and then I wasn't able to reach them again on the phone number they gave me.

Jaun Gonzalez was running late due to weather and traffic issues, but the office called and explained. He was courteous and respectful upon arrival. He was concerned for our pets due to the process having a strong odor. (We chose to have professionals do the resurfacing for the very reason that the chemicals are dangerous.) He worked quietly and finished as scheduled.

The technician arrived on time and did his work quickly and professionally. The tub looks and feels brand new!

I had a general contractor refinish my tub two years ago, but he used some cheap Home Depot product that started peeling after a year. I bit the bullet and bought the Custom Tub & Tile LivingSocial deal ($249) to refinish my tub and researching a number of companies on Angies List. Custom Tub & Tile only had one review when I bought the deal, but I was impressed with their website and social media videos of how the process worked. I liked the fact that I received confirmation email after scheduling and a call the day before my appointment - great customer service. I had to pay an extra $100 to get my old tub stripped, which I called and validated before I purchased the deal. The technician arrived right on time. My bathroom door was plastic wrapped to seal the dust and there a fan running which blew the dust threw a tube into my backyard, which was great. The process lasted about 3 hours. The tub looked shiny and new. Yes there was still some imperfections on the smoothness, but I wasn't expecting perfection so I was satisfied. What I was disappointed with was the caulking job and stripped remaining of the old tub in my tub drain after I peel away the tape. Had I not noticed it, it would have seriously clogged my tub drain. The caulk job was a bit sloppy, but nothing I couldn't redo myself. All in all, I was satisfied with what I paid for and would reuse again.
