This was an all around positive experience. Getting the quote was very easy, I just emailed them a picture of my tub. And they stuck to the quoted price. Dennis came out and did the work; he was very polite and cleaned everything up. The tub and tile are absolutely beautiful now. He really did a nice job. The entire process took about 6 hours. I highly recommend this company.

They were perfect from start to finish. They contacted me to schedule the visit w/in 24 hours after buying the big deal. The employee doing the work (Angel) called me at 7:45 to tell me he'd be here by 8:15. He got set up in the room where the shower was and I left him alone to do the work. He finished in about 3 hours - he did some additional work recaulking the whole shower. He did an amazing job. The old tub had a quarter size gouge in it and several spots where it was pitted and rust was beginning to show. When Angel finished, the tub looked brand new - and I mean BRAND NEW!!! The best part was he pointed out that my toilet had a slow leak. I took the tank apart and sure enough, I could see the corrosion on the bolt. We don't use that bathroom and I never would have seen the water leak and who knows how much damage would have been done. We are getting ready to sell the house we live in and my wife wasn't sure we should spend the money having this work done. After the job was finished, she said it was a great decision and it looked fantastic!

Service was done on time, for the advertised price, and the refinish seems to be holding up well so far.

Before I purchased the coupon from Angie's List, I had a few questions that were answered promptly. Once I purchased the deal, a representative contacted me immediately to set up an appointment and explain the service. It was scheduled between 8 and 10, and the workman came a few minutes after 8. He was very professional and explained all the options and caveats before beginning. I decided to pay an extra $75 for the non-slip surface. The bathtub looks great. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with the resurfacing on my bathtub. It looks like new! The company called in ample time for me to get home. The gentleman who did the work was: timely, courteous and did a great job cleaning up. I would highly recommend the product and company. As they mention up front be prepared for some strong fumes the first day.

We just bought a house and knew we would need to redo the bathroom eventually. The tile was in pretty bad shape, as was the tub. Before we did a big reno, we thought we'd try reglazing as a temporary solution. Custom Tile was able to give us the best price, the best timeline for the project, and so we went with them. On the day of the project, I got a call from the technician with some bad news: they noticed that some repairs had been attempted in the past, and done incorrectly so the existing tile was not secured. This meant that even though they could technically do the reglazing and retiling, it would not be a long term fix and we might just want to wait and redo the bathroom. Even though this meant that Custom Tile would lose out on the project, they were completely honest about the state of our bathroom, and were so helpful and professional. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is thinking of reglazing their tub or regrouting tile. Thank you, Custom Tile!!

Overall, the service was excellent. Making the appointment was easy; we scheduled several weeks ahead. We had scheduled to have two bathrooms regrouted around the tubs (both with showers and tiling 2/3 up the wall surround). When Denis arrived to do the work he determined that it was not worth regrouting one of the bathrooms and recommended we only do one of them, which is the way we went. The service took a full day. Denis cleaned up everything and there was very little residue outside of the tub areas, all of which wiped off easily with the recommended cleaners and a micro fiber cloth. Denis was extremely professional and pleasant. We could not be happier with his work and the results--it is likel having two new tub/showers.

I contacted Custom Tile and Resurfacing on 6/22 and spoke with Larkin. I was asked to email pictures of my bathtub showing all damaged areas. I emailed the pics on 6/23 and Larkin called the same day with the estimate. My husband and I found the estimate to be reasonable due to the damaged condition of the tub. There were several areas that were stained and peeling due to clorox use and hair coloring. I was given the date of 7/9/15 for the work to be performed and was told I would receive a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to arrival. As promised, on 7/9 Larkin called to let me know the Technician was on the way. Technician Juan G. arrived and discussed with me the work he was going to perform. Juan was very courteous and did an EXCELLENT job on the bathtub. My tub looks absolutely beautiful! Thank you Custom Tile and Resurfacing (and Juan!) for a job well done!

We had an old yellow tub in our upstairs bathroom. We had been upgrading the overall bathroom and decided that rather than go to the expense/hassle of replacing the tub we would try re-glazing it. Custom Tub was very professional and "changed" our yellow tub to white. The process did take a few hours and smell was quite noticeable. Custom Tub had warned us about this and did their best to minimize it but it still took a few days for the smell of the process to subside to the point that it was not noticeable. Overall, we are pleased with the end result - it now looks like we have a brand new tub.

We were tired of our old tub looking so drab, so when I saw the LivingSocial deal for a tub resurfacing, I grabbed it. We were very pleased with the result, and a year later the tub still looks great.

This turned out really great. The old cast iron bathtub had peeling paint, bumps, nicks, bad caulk...now it looks brand new! These guys did a great job.

The work was done quickly and I'm happy with the quality of the refinish. I would have given them an A if not for the lack of clean up. After the work was completed, I came home and my bathroom was caked in dust. I believe this occurred when they stripped the tub, but it was clear that little if any clean up was performed. Dust was in about every crevice of the bathroom and even covered the walls as high as the ceiling.

Carlos, the Custom Tub rep, could not have been more pleasant, professional and competent. He arrived on time, went right to work, and produced an outstanding result within the timeline he predicted. He left the bathroom cleaner than when he arrived. An outstanding job!

The provider arrived on time. He was professional. He vented the fumes out a window in an adjoining bedroom. He worked for about 2-3 hours. The bathroom was clean when he finished. He explained to us about not using the tub for 24 hours and left information with us. We received a warranty for the work. Overall, we were very pleased with his professionalism and the looks of the bath tub.

I found out about Custom Tub and Tile through Angie's List. They received good reviews and the company is located close to where I live. The individual who I initially spoke with, explained the resurfacing process and what was involved. She was very helpful and polite and was able to answer all of my questions. The work was scheduled for May 20, 2015, between 8:00-10:00 A.M. That morning, the Technician, Dennis, called me at 7:30 A.M. to let me know that he would be arriving at 8:00 A.M. He was right on time and, prior to beginning the work, answered a few additional questions I had about the process. He was very polite and professional and began work immediately. The entire project took approximately 5-6 hours. I am very pleased with the results. The bathtub and tile look brand new. I would certainly recommend this company to others and I intend to call on them for future projects.

It looks brand new. They cleaned up really well. They worked very hard and I was very pleased.

Overall everything worked out well. The first time they came the finish was gritty, so I called the next day, and they returned the following week to inspect the job. Both the technician and the owner came. They resanded and reglazed it again on the spot, and put on several extra coats of clear sealer. The job is excellent, the tub looks brand new and it's over 60 years old. New caulking was applied with precision so it looks very professional. They left the work area spotless. My only caution is to be ready for the smell. The chemical smell was pretty bad and I kept the bathroom door closed and stuffed a towel under it for several days. After the finish was dry I also ran fans in there. It's now been about 6 weeks, and I still pick up a bit of odor, especially on humid days. I have asthma so I am especially sensitive to chemicals. It's to be expected with this sort of work.
