Dave managed our projects with professionalism and skill. He is very responsive, coming up with very helpful guidance throughout the projects. He and his crew are very pleasant, talented, and neat. When an issue arose, Dave promptly and calmly discussed ways to address it. We are very "picky" about certain things, and we really appreciated it that Dave is also very detailed and maybe even "more picky" (as we mentioned to him!). It was a pleasure working with Dave, and we continue to be in touch with him as we complete other tasks in our home.

This is the 3rd major project NLT has completed at this house over the past 11 years along with several minor projects in between. Dave just knows his stuff. His crew is staffed with friendly, professional craftsmen who accept nothing less than perfection. His subs are the same. Even with some surprises during demolition Dave was on schedule. I could write for hours but the real story is that we are thrilled with the final product just as we were with a major addition and kitchen remodel, new windows.....all projects that NLT has expertly completed.

From the beginning Dave was the most responsive and thorough person we contacted. His detailed estimate and shopping list were extremely helpful. He was patient as we asked lots of questions, this being our first major indoor home improvement. The quality of work by his staff was exceptional as well. He coordinated the plumbing and electrical too and the work was as seemless as could be with all of your bathrooms being redone. We love how they look now and appreciate how well the work was done and how thorough everyone was. Dave is hoping to come back and take pictures so I'm hoping he'll add them to the review. While they were not the most expensive estimate we received, they were not the cheapest. And I do believe they were worth the added expense."

Fantastic experience. Dave gave me the fastest estimate I've ever gotten, and the work was done quickly. He was creative in problem solving so that I wouldn't have a seam across my ceiling. It looks fantastic. I will definitely be keeping him in mind for future projects.

I can honestly say without any reservation that I was extremely satisfied with NLT Construction. My project took about 2 weeks to complete and Dave was very accommodating when I requested changes to the original contract. Dave is wonderful to work with and the men that work for him are all top notch- professional, knowledgeable, on-time, neat, personable and clearly know what they are doing. Dave was masterful in coordinating all of the work from start to finish- drawing up a professional contract, demolition, construction, electrical, and siding. It all took place without a hitch and I am very happy with the end product. It is also refreshing to work with someone who is very responsive to phone calls and e-mails. I would strongly recommend Dave/NLT Construction and I will be calling Dave when I am ready to remodel my kitchen and bathroom.

From his design suggestions, assistance in selecting items to be installed to the finished job, the project went perfectly. It was completed in the 10 days as estimated with some weekend work to finish in time for us to leave on a previously scheduled trip. His crew and sub contractors were courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and cleaned up the worksite every evening before leaving. The pile of refuse from the demolition stage was removed in a timely manner. We were thrilled with the job and look forward to working with NLT Construction again in the near future.

Job went very well. Workers arrived on time and worked throughout the entire day. Old siding was removed from house and replaced with new siding one side of the house at a time so that the entire house would not be exposed to bad weather. The workers made certain that the new siding was nailed into the house studs. Light fixtures were removed and replaced after the new siding was installed. Existing gutters and downspouts were reinstalled. Workers cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day. New job materials were neatly stacked and old materials and trash were removed from property daily. Workers took care not to damage shrubs and flowers around the house. Communication between myself and the work crew was excellent. All my questions were always answered and the work was explained as the job progressed. I am very happy with the workmanship and quality of materials used on my home.

We would highly recommend NLT and Dave Cedrone, I could call him any time even when he was on vacation and get a response. My interior designer said she has never worked with such an easy to reach contractor. We used all the people that he recommended and we were not disappointed. I have spoken to several people that used him, and everyone felt the same way. Instead of it being a stressful time, Dave made it exciting and worry free. I would go to the job every day and always be pleasantly surprised at how smoothly things were going, He is also a man of his word and if something is wrong he takes care of it, We had the wrong faucet for our vessel sink and he felt it was his responsibility and replaced it - when the plumbing company would. not..

All stages were excellent: proposal, scheduling; progression of work; and final touches. Dave showed us an extensive portfolio and clearly broke down the costs of the project. The contract was clear and detailed. Dave rapidly generated accurate floor plans and elevations and offered many ideas for cabinetry and placement of bathroom products; the drawings were essential for communicating with vendors as I selected products. There were three primary construction workers and various subcontractors. The construction workers were personable, professional, and fast. Throughout the process, each employee of NLT Construction was an excellent communicator. The estimate of the number of man-hours to complete the job was accurate. When there was a delay in my ability to obtain bathroom accessories, Dave was able to adjust the schedule. After the job was mostly done, there was a "tail" where small, miscellaneous details still needed attention. Dave or one of his men came back and dealt with each item promptly. The result is beautiful; everything functions well. I would hire NLT Construction again.

From start to finish, Dave and his crew are the consummate professionals. They are worth every dollar. If you want reliable, respectful, patient, detail oriented, talented partners for your new project, look no further than NLT Construction. I couldn't believe that they had such impeccable reviews -- I thought, "How are they getting such amazing reviews? Everyone has someone who doesn't like their experience." But after being a homeowners for more than a decade, it's such a breath of fresh air to work with a contractor who is professional, reliable and respectful. NLT has a bevvy of subcontractors they find work at the same level of quality that they do. It's a relief to have a vetted and recommended plumber or electrician or painter on hand when you're trying to work through such a large project. And what a relief for the lead contractor to have an existing relationship with them so they can manage any mistakes or corrections with the subcontractor for you. Dave also worked closely with me to help me craft and submit an application to the Maryland Historical Trust for their tax credits for the work. And Dave is an *incredibly* thorough communicator. He picks up almost every call, he replies to every text, he will call you back shortly after he missed your call, he gets back to you on almost every thing you mention in passing. Even in the middle of a personal family loss, he held it together and pushed our several month long project forward. I only wish I had more money lying around to have them do our kitchen and main bathroom. Ah, to dream...

We hired NLT's Dave Cedrone after seeing the wonderful work he was doing on our daughter's house. It was such a pleasure to work with Dave. He is always full of ideas and passionate about his work. He is happy to answer any and all questions and sincerely wants the customer to be happy. During our first discussion, I explained to Dave that our house had little to no insulation so he suggested an insulated siding. Not only does it look amazing but we immediately saw a drop in our heating bill. I also asked him about suggestions for updating our kitchen. His idea involved changing the size of two windows to add counter space. It was a brilliant idea so we had the window size changed. Dave's crew was friendly, professional and courteous. They always let me know when they would have the fence gates open so I could keep my dogs in the house. They cleaned all their debris every day. It was such a pleasure working with Dave and his crew that we hired him to renovate our kitchen a few months later. This year we hope to have him renovate our master bath.

David Cedrone and his team (Mike and Rob) were extremely professional, courteous, conscientious and skilled. They offered excellent ideas and delivered great quality work. We are very pleased with our basement and look forward to enjoying it for years to come. We would highly recommend NLT.

There are so many things I enjoyed about Dave and NLT Construction; it's hard to know where to begin! At our initial consultation, we walked through my multiple visions of our new kitchen depending on what I thought was possible within our budget. Dave was enthusiastic and honest with his recommendations. Once we narrowed down a final design, Dave was hands-on down to the little details. He personally showed up every day and always was quick with a phone call or email about anything ? something my perfectionist husband appreciated. Dave would always answer when we called and returned emails promptly. We were always in great hands. The customer service couldn?t have been better. The craftsmanship of the work was impeccable. My husband is an engineer and would triple check every step of the process. If ever a tweak was needed, which was rare, Dave and his team were on it until it was beyond perfection. One of the things I found very helpful was Dave?s iPad! Dave keeps all the photos of all his projects and they are ready at his fingertips. I am a visual person and can?t "see" something until I actually see it! Dave would be talking about a particular type of cabinet, or various lighting options, or tricks to do with tight cabinet spaces. He would say "hey, I have a picture of that" and know exactly which project to dig into and pop up the photo to explain. His previous repertoire of projects lends itself wonderfully to generating creative ideas for difficult problems, or just illustrating a technical term I was unaware of. It was very valuable and helpful to have all the photos at the ready ? it was also akin to a resume of his work. The pricing is unique and something I appreciated as well. You pay for his services and the construction he will do but then you pay for your own subcontractors directly. For example, we paid the hardwood flooring company, the electrician, and the tile guy directly. We bought our own kitchen appliances, countertop, and hardware. I felt in control of our budget and if I busted it, I felt it was my own fault. Dave didn?t give me ?allowances? for the various expenses and box me into a max price for various categories. I also didn?t feel he was taking a sub?s price and adding a percentage to bill me. I knew what each sub cost because I paid the bill. My husband and I were so impressed with Dave and the crew of NLT. I would, and have, recommended them to friends and family. They are a company I trust and I look forward to having them do any work on my home. I never regretted choosing Dave and NLT over any other of the many companies we interviewed.

NLT Construction was one of several contractors we contacted to renovate an existing enclosed patio. David met with us and discussed our project with us, and we came away feeling the most confident with him. The other contractors either struck us as unprofessional, were unwilling to work our own labor into the schedule, or thought our budget was unrealistic. David was in communication with us before and during the project, making sure we were all on the same page about dimensions, design choices, and next steps. When there were issues, we were often able to work them out over the phone in order to maintain progress the next day. The job was scheduled to begin in early August, but due to another job was pushed back a week. This might have been an issue, but due to David's communication with us we were able to take it in stride. During the demolition, a pane of glass on an existing door was cracked by some debris, and David did not hesitate to call us and let us know, as well as offering to pay to replace the glass. While it's something you might expect any contractor to do, not all would be so forthcoming. To help keep some costs down, we decided to do some of the work ourselves. This included installing radiant heat, laying floor tile, and painting the walls and trim. David allowed us to take our time, even giving us several extra weeks when our own schedules held up progress on the whole job. Other contractors would not have been as forgiving. Since the completion of the project, we have been very pleased with the fit and finish of the space. What was once a storage room attached to our house is now a completely insulated, usable space that is occupied daily.

The remodel went so smoothly! We met with Dave, the main contractor, to get a detailed explanation of what his crew would be doing, how long it would take, get some engineering drawings, and have a contract written up. Being an Engineer myself, I enjoyed hearing the process and explanation of why Dave's team would use certain materials, tools, and processes vs others to ensure a perfect result. The contract told us EXACTLY what materials we would need to buy ahead of time and some suggested vendors to use. We chose our floor and wall tile, tub and shower fixtures, and vanity and Dave took care of the rest... he worked with each vendor to let them know the exact amount of each material we'd need and set up the delivery schedule for us. Our start date arrived and the NLT Construction crew got right to work. They arrived right around 7:30 every morning and were productive for seemingly 8+ hours straight each day. By the end of the first day, our old bathroom was long gone and the new tub and walls were put in. About one week and one blizzard later, we had our brand new bathroom all completed and it turned out better than we could have expected! Along the way, we had 2 or 3 different workman in our house. All were hard working, courteous, professional and quality focused. They kept us aware of all the progress they had made each day and any challenges that had arisen. Dave stopped by each day to ensure everything was going as planned and assist when necessary. My wife and I especially appreciated the amount of effort the NLT team put in to keeping the rest of our house clean, using carpet protectors wherever necessary. We felt very comfortable having these guys in our house and by the end, our dog even got used to them. I would definitely recommend NLT Construction for any job you need done in your house!!

Overall it went well. Dave was on top of things and very responsive all around. He designed the addition and modified the layout to our satisfaction. Dave has an eye for details and holds a high standard in craftsmanship. His guys always cleaned up after they were done every day. We were very comfortable of having them in the house. There were a number of issues with the subcontractors but Dave was able to take care of them. For example, Dave installed a ceiling light that the electrician did not do to our liking on his own time. He also completed the job that the HVAC guys should have done but did not. Overall, we are very pleased with the work NTL Construction did and we plan on using them again for our next addition project.

Dave was great to work with. He was not the cheapest of the bids but his understanding of what needed to get done and how to accomplish it sealed the deal. He spent almost an hour on the phone during the initial interview and took the time to find out not only what the project entailed but the overall scope of what I was trying to get done. He even suggested some things that would not help his bottom line but were extremely helpful to me. When he came out, again, he took plenty of time to draw the plan, review what I was trying to do and, made suggestions that were again, not helpful to his bottom line but helpful for me. Rob came out to do the work and was a true professional. He also went out of his way to explain what the plan was, and in spite of me making some changes at the last minute, he did not complain or hesitate, got to work and got the job done. Rob and his assistant did awesome work, were professional throughout, cleaned up everything. Overall, can't say enough good things about NLT and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great contractor.

In the design process, we requested that the scale of the new garage and roof angles match the existing house. The result was perfect. The design drawings were easy to understand and the design/build process allowed us to make changes quickly without going through multiple architectural renderings. NLT Construction had the same personnel on the job throughout the project. Very polite. The principal, Dave Cedrone, was available 24/7 and inspected the work on a regular basis. The subcontractors hired by NLT Construction were all just fine. The work site (directly adjacent to the house) was always well-kept and tidy. The project took about 2.5 months and finished within budget and on time. We had some other problems with wood rotting on two dormers on the existing house and NLT was able to repair and replace while their personnel were on the job. I recommended the company to a neighbor who contracted with NLT to build a new deck. They were highly satisfied with the job and later had NLT do a new kitchen.

Building a beautiful detached garage has been a priority for our family for a number of years. Discussing our plans with numerous building contractors was met with disappointment until we interviewed Mr. Dave Cedrone of The NLT Construction Company, Inc. In addition to convincing our family that he not only possessed the pertinent expertise for the successful completion of this project, we perceived him to be honest, trustworthy, and having extraordinary perfectionism.

NLT arrived immediately (even though they were busy) and quickly organized drying out the damage and the repairs (drywall, plumbing, woodworking, carpentry and paintng and tiling). Results were excellent. Employees were punctual, professional and tidy. Dave Cedrone is very resourceful and found plumbers and restoration services who came immediately. He also writes a contract that is very specific and easy to understand. We have worked with NLT on various projects (deck, window replacement, roof replacement and new porch floor) over 20 years and recommend them unconditionally.

The work on my house was completed as 2 separate projects, both external. Because of impact of rain, I was regularly updated on the impact on the construction schedule. The crew that installed the siding were very polite and considerate. They worked each day until after dinnertime. The quality of work is very high. Everything is neat and well installed. My one minor concern, which was caused by my house not the install, was addressed with a quality solution. The deck was completed in 2 work days. I was not at home while the crew was working, but the composite deck is of the highest quality workmanship. This is the most recent of many projects NLT Construction has done for me. I have been highly satisfied with each project, this one being no exception. My contact, Dave, is very knowledgeable. He always has a lot of suggestions and helps me attain a high quality finish while managing my project budget.

Well where do I start? I mean a kitchen remodel is a big deal. It was hard. It was really hard. You live with the contents of your kitchen and years worth of cabinet "stuff" all pulled out and placed in your other living space. You can't put it in your garage because that's where the old cabinets and appliances have to get placed during demolition. So now you have all your stuff all your kitchen belongings , no use of your appliances and a house full of noise and dust... It's tough that's for sure. But was it worth it? YES YES YES!! Daves crew- justin and Rudolfo were incredibly efficient and hard working. They work long days and show up promptly every day. When you call Dave he answers the phone ALL THE TIME- I've never seen such a responsive contractor in my life. He's worth every penny. His electrician, his plumber his cabinet and flooring vendors all amazing. Let me tell you how thrilled I am with my kitchen.... IM SO THRILLED WITH MY KITCHEN!!! Dave and his team stopped at nothing to make certain everything was done perfectly and timely and he delivered a drea kitchen ON TIME! I would only use Dave for any of my house remodeling projects from this day on. You get what you pay for- he's not cheap but you get an unbelievable finished product on time and with little to no headaches. I couldn't be happier.

I do not have anything but good details to provide. They were very helpful in all areas from the work they did to giving me suggestions on making some changes to mu current basement. Please see my remarks above.

Working with Dave and his crew was a great experience. The quality of the work and communication was the best it could be for a huge renovation project. Every morning the crew arrived early and worked diligently throughout the day leaving the site clean and organized until the next work day. Dave and his crew had helpful opinions and insight about the details from the trim around the window to the depth of the kitchen sink. Furthermore, my husband and I felt comfortable with the crew having our house key and leaving the crew working unsupervised. At the end of the work day, we were told who would be arriving and working the next day. The price of the renovation reflects the honesty, integrity of Dave and the crew, and quality of the work completed, which my husband and I value the most.

Dave was absolutely great! He really took the time on his initial visit to explain how the structure was constructed and what the options were. He brought in Freedom Overhead Doors to also consult and confirm feasibility of plan. Once we agreed on plan, Freedom Overhead custom built/installed the new doors and Dave had me pay them directly for their component of the work to keep costs down, which is not the norm when other companies use subcontractors. He and his team, as well as Freedom Overhead were absolutely phenomenal, completing the work quickly and professionally. They left things spotless after clean up. Short of rebuilding my garage, this gives me the best solution to the problem I had with clearance. Honest, professional, and superb quality, Absolutely would recommend!!
