Dave is a fabulous contractor to work with, hands down. One thing very different about Dave compared to other contractors- he's always available to you by phone, text, or email from 7a-7p. I could spend a lot of words about professionalism and detail oriented, etc but trust me he's great! Not only Dave, but his team of carpenters are top notch and carry the same level of professionalism. The subs he uses are very good too. With NLT I think it's about customer service and quality of workmanship and quality of materials. No corner cutting anywhere. Obviously, in any job, there are issues and problems that arise. Dave and his team are easy to work with to fix and address any issues - whether is an install oversight or simply the wrong part came in for the job, he;'ll make sure it's right. Dave's pricing model is much different than a typical contractor who's 'bidding' on your project. Dave is your partner. You're paying him for his expertise, project management, his carpentry team and access to his subs and suppliers. So his costs are fixed for your project. The cost for the materials and subs are all pass through to the client. I am 100% sure he's not making any extra or kickbacks like other GC's do. He makes his money for his core services - AND ITS WORTH IT! Our project started as a basic addition and renovation of 2 rooms into a master suite. We ended up with a what feels and looks like a new home. The garage grew into a garage with 15x24 addition between the garage and the kitchen. We now have a killer music/office, pantry, and new laundry room. We installed new hardwood on the entire first floor. Renovated part of the kitchen (enclosed refrigerator in a custom matching cabinet enclosure), we added plumbing features in the kitchen, raised cabinets, and opened up space by removing several cabinets. People are amazed how much more open it looks. The master suite looks like it came out of a home magazine now. All very reasonable costs because we were able to control our costs by selecting the right materials for our budget and goals. The shower is 4x7, floor to ceiling subway tile with 80" glass doors and a 3-way plumbing fixture package. My wife's dream of an oversized soaking tube finally realized. It's to dream for. In case I forgot to mention they do all their own tile work and it is beautiful craftsmanship. The best feature in the bedroom is the picture window Dave helped us craft using standard windows from Pella. Not only saving money but bringing in tons of light and ambiance to the master suite. We carved out a wonderful walk-in closet perfect for the two of us. We replace the entire exterior siding and exterior doors. new gutters, Its gorgeous. I think we raised the house value on that alone. The garage is awesome 26x26 with a huge custom 20' single garage door. It's great to have so much parking room and the big door to get in and out easily. He suggested we put some attic stairs to above the garage for access to extra storage. A simple thing but it made so much sense now that I've been up and down a few times. Like I said Dave is looking at your project like it was his own home. We still have a little exterior work to finish. Dave and is foundation sub, Danny suggested we wait until warm weather in the Spring to pour the rest of the sidewalks and do the stone on the foundation. Any other contractor would have been pushing to do it, but the over riding idea was all about what would last longer and do a better job. So overall I am extremely satisified with Dave and NLT. I was unsure if had made the right decision at first since his 'estimate' was higher than the other guys. But after experiencing the entire projects, and looking at what we got for our money I think it was a great choice. I am sure we would have been 'change-ordered' to death by the other contractors we interviewed. Also they had material allowances which were far below our standards (builder grade). Dave was on target for about 95% of his estimated costs. We managed to save a few dollars using our HVAC guy (who is now Dave's new go-to HVAC firm) and doing some work ourselves (painting, landscaping, and misc items). Thanks NLT.

Oh my gosh this company (Dave Cedrone) is amazing. I needed to have this done asap back in October and he came through with days to spare. I'm sorry Dave that I waited so long to review. He answers the phone or gets back to you in a timely manner. A very pleasant person to deal with. The person who repaired did a great job, even fixing our stand alone mailbox/pole. I'm not good at writing reviews and may have left something out. Let me know if I should include additional info. Such a pleasant experience. You guys did a beautiful job and I would certainly hire you if I need more work done.

[Member Name Removed], Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review! It was a pleasure working for you guys, and you did an amazing job of cutting back the bushes so that we could get to the siding. Without your help doing that job would have been much more difficult I hope you'll keep me in mind for the next project !
Working with Dave Cedrone and NLT Construction was an absolute pleasure. We got quotes from many different contractors, and while I'm sure they all would have done great work, it was clear that Dave had a great attention to detail and an unsurpassed high bar for quality. In addition, you could tell he loved what he was doing and was interested and inquisitive about each job. Even in the quote process, he spent significantly more time with us than any of the other contractors, and had lots of great suggestions that influenced the design and layout we went with in the bathroom. As is stated in all the other reviews, his responsiveness, quality, professionalism, etc. was top notch. When doing a job of this size, it is expected that something unanticipated will come up; Dave kept us informed through the whole process so we knew what our options were, made sure anything unexpected was taken care of, and we knew he wasn't done until we were happy. In a generous mood, my wife would describe me as "particular," but even so, NLT Construction exceeded my expectations. We are thrilled with our new bathroom and look forward to using it over the coming decades. I did give a 'B' for price, because while I would describe the work as a great value, you are paying for the work of incredibly talented, hard-working men. There were cheaper quotes, but you get what you pay for, and the work that was done was incredible. The rest of the categories need an "A+" option though, because Dave and NLT Construction far surpassed any other contractor I've worked with and my own high expectations. Thanks for all the great work Dave!
Description of Work: We were completely gutting and remodeling our master bathroom. Pretty much down to the studs, portions of the floor were redone, a closet removed, and all plumbing/electrical moved. The tub, shower, toilet, and sink locations were all being moved, a new window was put in, and the partially flat, the partially sloped ceiling was redone at a uniform height, among many other things.

There is no question that your bathroom is one of the nicest bathrooms that I've done, and I've done hundreds of them! Your 15 foot long vanity is the largest vanity that I've ever done! You did a fantastic job with all of your selections from the beautiful freestanding tub to the barn style fully frameless shower doors, well done! Great. Dave and crew were on time every day, and they were very professional. He sent us photos of the work as it was being completed and stuck to his timeline and budget. This was our first experience with a general contractor so we spoke with several before hiring NLT. Dave was meticulous in planning the work and detailing how it would proceed. I would hire him again and recommend NLT to my friends.

Hi [Member Name Removed], Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I hope you guys enjoy your new home in good health for many years to come. And don't forget, I'm always just a phone call away if there's anything you need!
We had worked with NLT Construction before, but this was a substantially larger and more complex job. From the beginning, Dave was timely and thorough. He was upfront about pricing, was able to get the various subcontractors to complete their work to the same quality that he was producing, and was helpful in all the ways we wanted a contractor to be helpful. In order to save some money, we did the majority of the demolition ourselves. This involved removing a complete second floor bathroom, a first floor wall, a kitchen, and a pantry closet. Over the course of about two months, his crew and various subcontractors worked to rebuild what had been demolished. This included weaving in new hardwood flooring; installing new windows; designing, building, and installing custom cabinets; running new plumbing and electrical; adding a bathroom; laying tile; replicating plaster molding; and adding insulation. We did have to stress the need to match existing dimensions and molding profiles in a few cases, and the crew did an impressive job to meet those needs. Overall, we're very pleased with the result and continue to be impressed with how everything turned out, even nearly two years later.

Hi [Member Name Removed], Thanks taking the time to write a review. I enjoyed working with you once again. Your home is so well-built, they just don't make them like this anymore! I really appreciate that you invested both the time and the money to make sure that every improvement done has blended in with the age of the home. Matching up your plaster molding was definitely one of the most challenging and gratifying aspects of your project. Anyway, I'm just glad you chose me as your contractor!
This past summer (2017) I was fortunate to have used the services of NLT Construction, specifically, the owner, Dave Cedrone who functioned as the head contractor overseeing the work of 3 sub-contractors (electrical, flooring, and painters). I contracted with NLT Construction for carpentry and coordination of the work of the sub-contractors. Dave had me contract individually with the subcontractors he recommended, which worked out well. I used the painter and flooring subcontractors Dave recommended but foolishly decided to go with a different electrician (who did not play well with others). Dave coordinated and checked the quality of everyone’s work. The entire job was finished within the expected timeframe and within the estimated cost. Here are some very specific reasons I recommend Dave without reservation: • Responsiveness and excellent communication skills: (How many times have you heard those words used to describe a contractor?) Dave was ALWAYS reachable, frequently getting back to me within minutes of my placing a call or sending an e-mail. As I was disassembling my house, I experienced a “shelf emergency” involving shelves installed years ago by another contractor. I realized that most of the existing shelves throughout the basement and garage (onto which I planned to load a house-full of boxes) had been installed shoddily and were in danger of collapsing. I called Dave (before his work was even scheduled to begin) in a panic and he had his men come that same day (and the next) to rebuild and/or reinforce the shelves. • Problem-solving and cost saving: One of Dave’s greatest strengths is the fact that he always came up with solutions for the inevitable and unpredictable problems that arose along the way. For example, he had warned me that a picture window with a rotting frame may need to be replaced, but that he wouldn’t be able to tell until his men worked on it. It did need replacing, but he called one of his window contacts, got me an excellent price, which (including his crew’s labor) was $6,000 less than my husband and I had been quoted years previously when we first noticed the rot beginning to form. Along similar lines, I had been told by numerous contractors I interviewed that a (different) living room window would need to be replaced. When I asked Dave how much he would charge to replace it, he said he didn’t the entire window needed replacing – only a section of the wooden casement, which he thought Pella still made. He called his Pella contact and had him send me a replacement part that cost round $60 – instead of several thousands for window replacement. He was the only contractor who did this. • Insistence on quality work: Dave stopped by frequently to check on the work of the subcontractors. During his visits (inspections) I noticed that he would routinely ask them why they chose to do the work in a specific way. Afterwards the supervisor of the painting crew commented that Dave is always always open to learning new ways of doing things. He knows what quality work looks like and will ask them to redo something that is not done to his standards. Because they know this, they take special care to do things right the first time when working on his Jobs. [Worked for me!] In addition to doing excellent work and expecting (and getting) the same from his subcontractors, Dave was also very fair with his pricing and very clear in setting up and implementing the specs of his contracts (in order to minimize misunderstandings down the line.) I truly appreciated the care Dave took with my house. Once I fully recover from the trauma of having had to disassemble and then reassemble my entire house, I hope to renovate my kitchen and bathrooms. I wouldn’t even think of calling anyone but Dave to do the work. You will not regret your decision if you hire him.
Description of Work: My entire (3,000 sq. ft.) house was painted indoors and the wall-to-wall carpeting on 3 floors was replaced with wood flooring. Additional carpentry work included window, closet, and shelf repair and replacement and miscellaneous handyman tasks.

Dave told us our ambitious plans would take 12 weeks to deliver, and based on our previous experiences with contractors, we cynically doubled the anticipated construction time in our planning. When we told friends of Dave's promised timetable, everyone laughed. How wrong we all were. Dave delivered the finished product exactly as and when he promised. "Promises made, promises kept" expresses Dave's commitment to his work and his clients. Also important to know is that Dave only works with the absolute best suppliers and sources, all of whom were endlessly helpful and creative. I cannot imagine undertaking another reconstruction project without Dave leading the team. He is absolutely the best.
Description of Work: We contracted with NLT for a top-to-bottom renovation of our dream retirement home. We were leaving a much loved elegant century-old home with abundant character, and we wanted a contractor who could help us recreate its elegance within a smaller, newer edifice. Dave Cedrone did a wonderful job of listening to our wish list and making it all happen. Although we were also working with a trusted interior designer, we were constantly amazed by Dave's insights and design recommendation, and we and the designer found his advice invaluable.

We identified in April that we wanted to work with NLT, and our project took about two weeks to complete at the end of August. It was worth the wait. We did the entire demolition of the bathroom, and afterward NLT's crew created our new bathroom exactly to our vision. Dave provided recommendations for different suppliers in the area, and the vendors we purchased from all spoke very highly of NLT and Dave. Dave stayed in constant communication with us from after we signed the contract to the finishing touches on the bathroom. If we had any questions, we could reach Dave at any time via phone/text/email. During our project, an unexpected issue arose and Dave worked tirelessly to take care of it and make sure that we were satisfied. NLT's staff were pleasant to work with and professional. NLT and Dave delivered exactly what we were looking for; the result was "worth every penny." We're looking forward to having NLT back in our home to remodel our kitchen, basement, and other projects.
Description of Work: We have a home that was built in 1949 with one full bathroom, original to the house, that we were looking at completely remodeling. We brought in three contractors to discuss and quote our project, including NLT Construction, and of the three NLT was clearly a cut above the rest. Shortly after meeting Dave Cedrone, we knew we wanted to work with him. He was knowledgeable and honest in his evaluation of our project.

Hi [Member Name Removed], Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review. And to post pictures with your review! I especially love the picture of your daughter at the sink! The fact that you showed both before and after pictures is terrific. I also see that you have a wide angle lens. Your pictures look better than mine! I look forward to working with you again on your next project. Please feel free to call me anytime for any reason. Hope you enjoy your bathroom in good health, and I'll see you soon!
The remodel was a very positive experience. I have moved frequently, buying places that I could have remodeled to my taste, so I have had experience with contractors. Within 5 minutes of meeting Dave Cedrone, I knew that he knew what he was talking about, and while of course being positive and friendly, was not giving me a hard sell or treating me like I was stupid and ignorant (I'm basically a little old lady and it is unfortunately not uncommon to be treated like an idiot). Having a mutually respectful relationship is important for a successful project, and I knew that could be the case with NLT Construction. NLT has done other projects in this mid-century condominium, so they knew how the building was constructed and the rules of the condo. There were no technical surprises during the project, and Dave and the other NLT employees were respectful of condo rules and worked well with the condo staff. During the design phase of the project, Dave listened to my ideas, and together we created a perfect bathroom for me and my budget. NLT has built a good reputation with many tile, countertop, and plumbing vendors in the area, and I received good service from all that I visited. I'm quite particular about the colors and styles that I wanted, so it was a plus to be able to have a wide selection to choose from. The workmen arrived promptly every day, worked efficiently, and cleaned up at the end of the day. I liked them; it was comfortable to have them in my home. They were organized and did quality work. They also coordinated well with the plumber, electrician, vanity, countertop people and me about those aspects of the project. After the project was finished, I noticed a few details that needed some work. NLT responded quickly and well. There was no 'blame the customer' in their response. I enjoyed working with Dave Cedrone of NLT Construction, and I am very happy with my new bathroom. If I ever have more remodeling needs, I would definitely hire NLT Construction.
Description of Work: I needed a total replacement/remodeling of a bathroom. This included removal of the old wall and floor tiles, vanity, medicine cabinet, tub, toilet, sink, faucets, and light fixture, replacement of the afore mentioned, and making the ceiling and walls paint-ready.

I can't imagine this job to have gone any smoother. The building crew are craftsmen who could handle anything the job required and they were a pleasure to deal with. Each subcontractor (excavation and foundation, roofer, etc) was also excellent. I also liked NLT's pricing model which is a flat charge for NLT's work and then you pay for material throughout the job with Dave providing receipts. Dave gives you an up front estimate of the cost of all material. Some things were a little lower than the estimate and some higher but it all balanced out. The entire project was significantly less than other estimates I had gotten.
Description of Work: We added an attached insulated and dry-walled 24' x 24' two car garage to our home. Dave of NLT did the design work after talking with us for several hours. He is the kind of guy who spends all the time necessary to make sure you're on the same page to get the you exactly what you want.

[Member Name Removed], As you know, I've done many attached garages over the years. What sets yours apart is the Materials that you chose from the garage door to the cedar shake siding. It really does have massive curb appeal. I hope you and your wife enjoy your new home and your new garage in good health for many years to come! Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for choosing me as your contractor! It was a pleasure getting to know you and working for you.
I hired NLT Construction to build a sun room and deck on my home and Dave and his team are the best contractors I have ever worked with. This includes the building of two different homes and major remodeling of the kitchen, basement, and bathrooms of a third. I interviewed five “A” rated vendors from Angie’s List before selecting NLT and even in this group Dave was able to shine brighter than the others. I am an avid DIYer for home improvement and love woodworking and I do project management for my day job so I tend to be a little selective (my word, my wife describes it a little differently) on who I choose people to work on my home. From the first meeting Dave was fantastic. I had developed a list of requirements I wanted and even had mocked up possible designs on my computer to start the conversation. When reviewing these with Dave he asked many questions to make sure he understood what I was wanting. One thing I found very helpful is Dave carries his iPad with him at all times and it is loaded with pictures from all of his jobs. As we would discuss ideas he would pull up examples to show. This was very helpful as it would help turn my ideas and concepts into plans and helped me get a good sense of what the finished product would look like (and we had not even started yet). Having a big list of requirements can sometimes work against you as it will tend to drive up costs. I asked Dave to speak up when he saw things on my list that would tend to drive up costs needlessly. Not only did Dave point out some of these things he would then present options that could achieve the end result I was looking for, but for less money. Not many contractors do that. Additionally, Dave learned of my home improvement and woodworking hobby and would ask if there were parts of the job that I wanted to do to save a little money. Pricing. One thing that I like right away was how Dave does his pricing. His quotes are for his team’s time to do the job. He gives you an estimate on the materials to do the job and I paid for the materials and a few subcontractors directly. This means no mark up on materials or subcontractors work. I can also tell you his estimates for materials are very accurate – I tracked everything on a spreadsheet. Professionalism. Wow! Dave’s team did an amazing job. My project took about six weeks. The team was on time every morning and they really like what they do – and it shows. Every member of the team was hard working and very professional. Every day I would get an update on the project and what they expected to do next. On every home improvement project, you discover challenges as you open up walls and find unexpected things. When these were discovered the team always had excellent ideas on how to solve the issues. The job site was kept clean and well organized. Workmanship. Wow again! The fit and finish on every joint was just amazing. Given my woodworking hobby, I generally know where the difficult cuts and joints are. And yes, I do inspect these. Time and time again I would just be amazed at how well the work was done. I highly recommend Dave and his team. The final product was amazing. The kind of thing you see in a magazine and say, “I want that”. I was lucky and found Dave and now I can say “I have that”.

The whole process went very well. They were always ready and able to answer questions throughout the process, helped us figure out how we could save a little money on the door we bought by changing some details, and were very professional. We would definitely use them again. The framing wood that came from Pella was not the right color and they were able to reuse the old framing wood. It looks great.

The work went beautifully. I had 21 windows replaced, which took only two days. Dave said the siding job would take two weeks and that was exactly right. Dave had a two-man crew to replace the windows and a different two-man crew to do the siding. Both crews were courteous and respectful and especially hard-working. The siding crew put in long days, working carefully and skillfully. The house is beautiful and exactly what I hoped for. Several times, when I was in the front yard, total strangers stopped to comment on how nice the house looked. A technician from BGE Home had to come by for an issue unrelated to the siding and even he commented on what a good job they were doing. There were no complications that I knew about and there were no delays.

About 1/3 of my pool deck had to be removed & replaced to install an upgraded underground drain to resolve my drainage issue. I also wanted a stairwell enclosure built so I would never have to be concerned in the future about water getting into my finished basement during severe rainstorms - this was overkill, but it was my decision. Dave had even tried to talk me out of the additional expense of doing the enclosure since the drain replacement would resolve the issue, but the peace of mind was worth the additional expense. Dave and his concrete subcontractor, Danny, owner of DiCocco Contractors, were both professional and a pleasure to work with, adjusting their schedules to work around an unforeseen issue with a pool light. I would highly recommend both NLT Construction & DiCocco Contractors to others and would use them both again for future projects.
Description of Work: Replacement of inadequate underground pool deck drain, installation of concrete pad for shed and construction of enclosure for stairwell leading into basement. Rain runoff from a large house roof area and concrete deck periodically overwhelmed the inadequate original pool deck drain, causing water to cascade down my basement steps and into the basement.

Working for you was an absolute pleasure. You have one of the nicest homes I've ever seen- Hands down! Your style of decorating is right up my alley. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me the tour. I look forward to a continuing dialogue with you as we share our love of collecting. And of course please keep me in mind for any future projects.
This is the contractor you've been looking for, but could never find!! I cannot stress this enough: Dave is fantastic. He's knowledgeable, organized, professional, responsive, and honest. His contracts put lawyers to shame they're so detail-oriented. His guys are a real pleasure to work with as well because they actually care about getting the job done right. Dave's done two jobs for me -- both were major projects, and both came in on time, on budget, and with a very high level of craftsmanship. I'm a picky client who knows a bit about home renovations and has worked with a lot of contractors in my life. Dave is literally the only contractor who has ever exceeded my very high expectations.

JJ, Thank you for the kind words. You are a unique client in that you like to do most of the work yourself. It has been an absolute pleasure to be your counsel and go to guy as you've transformed your home into a dream house. You really have done a remarkable job and thank you for letting me be a part of it. As you know, I'm always just a phone call away, and please don't forget to send me pictures when you have completed the basement trim work!
Description of Work: I have used NLT in the past. For the latest job, I asked Dave Cedrone to look at the situation in our house and give us advice on how to get started with an addition.

Hi [Member Name Removed], Thanks for posting another review! I'm looking forward to meeting with you again to see if we can nail down a design that meets all of your requirements. By the time we meet again, you will have met with your architect friend, and I'm sure between the three of us we can come up with a design for the room addition that meets all of your needs. I look forward to working with you again on this next project.

Fabulous -- That’s the way the porch remodel came out. We approached Dave Cedrone at NLT Construction to explore options for remodeling a dilapidated porch. It had a substantial lean -- as one of the corner piers had sunk 3 or 4 inches. The decking was rotted and heavily worn; and the railings, well, they were simply unpaintable anymore. We were looking for more than a simple fix. We wanted a totally new look -- one with great curb appeal, and an open, inviting feel. We knew we needed a different kind of contractor: -- attention to detail -- great quality workmanship -- an eye for design -- strong budgeting & project management skills -- knowledge and flexibility to deal with the unknowns that surround any remodeling project. . . . and we got it in NLT Construction The results are outstanding. Repositioning the stairs to wrap the corner provided the open inviting feel as if the house is welcoming its guests with with open arms. The Azek decking, and cable railing system provide that unique look. And to finish off the project, we went with Dave’s referrals for landscaping and house painting too. The result -- Fabulously Gorgeous!. We are already planning our next project. Thanks Dave.

Now that we have finished our work, I'm going to miss your dog! Who would've thought that I would be best friends with the dog that was nipping at my toes just six months ago. I hope you have me back for more work in the near future so that I can continue my domance with Brooksy. I also want you to know that I've always enjoyed our long talks, that it's been fun getting to know you. I'll talk to you soon.
It went extremely well. They were very professional and did excellent work. Always asking questions to make sure I was happy with each step of the process

[Member Name Removed], Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I really enjoyed working for you, and your family of dogs. As you know by now, I love dogs. Visiting your job site was always a treat, being greeted by your 4 furry friends. I'm glad I got to know you, and I look forward to working with you on your next project!
Dave Cedrone gave us an accurate estimate and the job was done on time with a minimum of disruption to the house. They were careful and considerate of keeping the mess confined to the area being worked on. We could not have been happier with the final out come - they did a great job. We have recommended NLT to friends and relatives, They also remodeled the bathroom and replaced the front door at our son's house in Canton.
Description of Work: Recently we had a total bathroom remodel - rip out and replaced everything floor to ceiling. NLT has also done a den and dining room addition for us as well as new windows and siding.

[Member Name Removed], Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Very few people take the time to load pictures with their review, I really appreciate it! We've known each other for a long long time now... it's probably been over 10 years since I built those room additions for you. We are definitely running out of things to do at your house!
Dave was very professional and thorough. He really cares about doing a good job and doing exactly what the customer wants. He and his crew spent a lot of time communicating with us, measuring and re-measuring for the windows and doors and making sure that the project would be just as we wanted it. He is always very quick to respond to messages and/or texts. If we need more work done, we will not call anybody else--we will go straight to Dave Cedrone and NLT!
Description of Work: 1. We had new windows and sliding doors installed, new gutters, a new garage door installed and we had a portico built for our front door.

[Member Name Removed], You have a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property. I'm really glad I got to meet you, and I look forward to working with you again on your next project. Please remember I am always just a phone call away if you need anything.
The project took 15 days start to finish once construction began. The contractors who performed the job were always on time, very professional and focused. They kept the area clean and did excellent work. The owner, David Cedrone, was very upfront regarding costs and we knew from the beginning everything we would have to pay for and what would happen at each step of the process so nothing was unexpected. We are very happy with our kitchen - a huge improvement for our home.
Description of Work: We hired NLT Construction to remodel our kitchen. They did a full kitchen overhaul, to include design layout, gutting and replacing flooring (vinyl replaced with wood) and cabinetry (all cabinets built and replaced). We hired NLT's contractors for the plumbing, electrical and installation of granite countertops.

[Member Name Removed], so glad that you decided to do the entire kitchen overhaul and not just the kitchen floor. What a huge difference! Your house can show off now! I love the cabinets and the granite that you chose, and I hope that you enjoy your new kitchen for many years to come!

Dave Cedrone is an energetic, organized, experienced, and conscientious person who took the time and made multiple visits to help us envision various plans and possibilities. He showed us examples of his work on his iPad, measured and drew plans for our spaces during our appointments... and responded promptly to our multiple phone calls and emails throughout the process. He also recognized our need for assistance in making all of the choices and recommended Connie Matsumoto. The two are a wonderful experienced team and work together well to get things organized. Connie quickly and accurately assessed our style preferences and used Dave's plans to select and place all of the details including perfect lighting fixtures, towel bars, grab bars, shelving, tiling details/decoration, countertops, cabinets, lighting, mirrors, drawer knobs...even the shower curtain. Together, they helped select a bathtub that was larger and more substantial but was not too wide for the space or too deep to be easily accessible. The grab bars were well placed and are solidly attached to the walls with reinforcement beneath. The shower with the seat and glass doors is beautifully designed and very functional. They also helped select toilets that don't need multiple flushes and to include handheld shower options and to select quality cabinetry that greatly increased storage space. Dave moved the location of the door so that everything fits perfectly. The construction was efficiently accomplished with excellent quality. It involved drilling out /reinforcing floors and walls, installing new/additional plumbing, sinks, wiring for new lighting fixtures, tiling, backsplashes, floors, cabinetry, linen closet and reinforcement for all of the grab bars The floors are solid, the tiling extends to the ceiling, the bathtub and the lighting is perfect, the ventilation and placement of electrical plugs/switches excellent. Dave and Connie helped us navigate and address our concerns regarding a few details/changes and finishing touches. The spaces are not only beautiful, but are well designed and functional and have clearly enhanced our quality of life. While there may be less expensive contractors and decorators, Dave and Connie are worth every penny for the quality of their work and its impact upon your life every day.

Hi [Member Name Removed], and Happy New Year! I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying your new bathrooms, and I'm really looking forward to working with you again when we remodel your kitchen! Until then, have a safe, happy and healthy New Year!
Before the job started, Dave Caldrone, one of the owners of NLT Construction, came over several times and spent a substantial amount of time with me to go over every detail we could cover before demolition started. He wrote a detailed proposal which faithfully reflected our discussions and gave me a fixed price and time frame for the job. He even brought in Rob, the person who was slated to run the job, shortly before demolition started, to discuss some special details involving my choice of deck flooring. Work started a bit later than we initially thought (which was better for us). The crew of 3, led by Rob, was meticulous about every single detail. I know something about this type of work and was watching carefully as they worked. At every point they chose the better, rather than the faster, way to handle the inevitable issues as they came up. They didn't rush, and the quality of their work reflects their attention to the many details which make the difference between an ok job and a top notch job. All 3 on the crew were very nice and interesting, and Rob is a terrific lead person - very knowledgeable and experienced, a terrific carpenter, calm, respectful (and playful, when warranted) and clearly truly interested in doing the best job he could. (I hope this doesn't go to his head when NLT comes out in a few months to start a second job for me - I was so impressed with the porch job I jumped right in for more work from them.) Dave showed up almost every day to check on things, make sure everything was on track, to discuss any technical issues, and to make sure we were satisfied with how things were going. NLT is probably not the cheapest company I could have hired, but Dave's philosophy is to pay his workers well so they will do the best job they can for him (and hence for their customers). It certainly shows. The cost listed below does not include materials, most of which we got for Dave's (professionally discounted) rate. The job was contracted at $17000 and that was what was paid. Nothing more (except materials as noted - and the estimates for materials was quite close).
Description of Work: We have a wood porch off our kitchen which had substantial rot. We asked NLT Construction to tear down and rebuild the porch, incorporating a few changes that we hope will mitigate future deterioration.
