They showed up on time and immediately set to work moving furniture, thoroughly cleaning and vacuuming every room at the subfloor level. Existing hallway (hardwood floor) did not suffer even a minor crack. The entire job was completed in a single day, including final cleanup and inspection. Top notch professionalism and respect from start to finish. We will refer these folks whenever we can.

Flawless. Shawn and Mario were extremely professional, knowledgeable and were both perfectionists. This is a rental and Shawn recommended a carpet that not only looked great, but that will hold up to tenant abuses. The pricing was great, the craftsmanship even better. They cleaned up the entire place when they were done and it looked like no one was ever there. Would absolutely recommend to anyone I know, something I rarely have the opportunity to do these days.

He cleaned up after he was finished and took the time to explain how to remove the dirt that resulted from my carpet being wrinkled. He did a wonderful job and even took the old carpet away for free ( I removed old carpet to reduce costs). The quality of carpet was outstanding and the final price was minimally higher that the big box store who had free installation discount but included a grade of carpet that did not even come close to the quality of carpet and padding that was installed. Would do business with him again and have recommended him to friends as well.

It was terrific. There was a bit of a hiccup when they got to the house and told me that they couldn't install the carpet that I had gotten for free. I had neglected to tell them the type of backing - totally my fault. Shawn explained the problem with it and he left and picked up new carpet and installed it that day. He was so easy to work with. The carpet we got is beautiful. They did a GREAT job. Both him and his assistant were wonderful. We would 100% get them to do additional work if needed.

We worked with them primarily via text which was very convenient because we have young children and our house is always chaos. We were able to set up a date for the consult for the next day and installation was done a few days later. It was very accommodating and well under the quotes we had gotten a year back to replacement carpet.

The work done was was very professional and we couldn't be happier with the results. The carpet repair was especially impressive, as it saved us thousands in carpet replacement costs. We would definitely use Riley's again without hesitation.

We looked at numerous carpet samples and also "before and after" pictures on Shawn's iPad of the same carpet installed in customer's homes. This was very helpful in getting the "big picture" of how the various samples would look in larger areas. The areas that we needed repaired (puppy chewing damage) were also evaluated and confirmed that repair was possible.

Shawn initially came out a couple months prior to service to give me an estimate. I told him what I wanted to achieve and he presented samples that fit my request. I decided on a smartstrand as i have animals and one room will be a nursery so I wanted a carpet that was easy to clean and that would hold up. The pad that he uses is a high quality thick pad that is waterproof so any spills are not soaked into the padding material. I felt there were no contractor games in his presentation. No hidden costs. No nickle an dime. No "I'll tell you what, if you give me money today, I'll give you a deal" song and dance that many contractors pull to rope you in. I wasn't ready at that time to get the work done and told Shawn it'd likely be May. He was fine with it. When I scheduled the installation, they showed up exactly when they said they would, re-carpeted two bedrooms and were done in what seemed to be no time at all. I have one more bedroom that needs to be done and Riley Carpet will be doing that one as well.

Restretching: Shawn makes this process painless. You send him some pictures of the areas you need restretched, he sends an estimate. If you agree, you set an appointment, he shows up (early in this instance, with advance notification), does the work, walks you through what he did, gets paid (true to the estimate) and departs. Excellent workmanship, customer service, communications skills and a pleasant, friendly demeanor. New carpet installation: Shawn measured, brought in samples of pad and carpet, discussed options, and gave an estimate based on my selections. He stated it would take around six days for the carpet to come in. He asked that I prep the room by moving all the breakables, he would do the rest of the moving once we had the installation date. He called me Monday, 4 April and said he the carpet was in, that he'd had a cancellation and could do the installation the next day. I agreed and though I was out of the house all day, left him instructions for access, and the balance of the payment due. When I got back that afternoon, he was still working and completed the job that evening. It looks fabulous and the attention to detail is exceptional. He's the best I've ever worked bar none. From responsiveness, to communications, to timeliness, to quality of delivered product, Shawn's top notch. I highly recommend him.

From the initial estimate consultation through the final installation process, Randy was very professional. During the estimating meeting, Randy reviewed and measured each space to be carpeted, provided an overview of their installation process and also shared information on the carpet, and pad, options. One of the ideas I really liked was Randy said we could mark areas where there were any floor squeaks and these would be fixed, prior to laying the new pad and carpet. Randy also answered all of our questions regarding the process. The carpet was installed by Randy, and one of his crew members. He takes a personal interest in assuring that the work is done to his satisfaction. The crew was very efficient in their work. The job of removing and installing carpeting, in 4 large bedrooms and their closets, was completed in less than 6 hours. Note - since we had moved, the rooms were empty. Though this helped with the timeliness of the installation, they crew worked in a very coordinated fashion which resulted in a very efficient installation. The bottom line - Professional, Friendly service at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend Randy's Carpet Service to anyone interested in new carpet.

This was a great experience!!! Shawn came by himself, measured, gave an estimate, and a week later he was back and the carpet was installed. His estimate was accurate - work was done fast. Everything was cleaned up and put back in place. And best of all - the carpet looks amazing. The seams are great - carpet is nice and tight - could not of asked for a better experience. Bottom line - if you need carpet - THIS IS YOUR MAN!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SERVICES!!!!!!

I found them on Angie's List and after reading the reviews called and immediately talked to Shawn. I set up an appointment that evening and after the consultation agreed to the project. The work was completed ahead of schedule and was flawless. I was impressed with Shawn's knowledge and passion for his trade. It showed in the end result as the carpet we chose turned out better than expected. After initially going to a big box store and getting what we thought was a great deal, after talking to Shawn we realized that was not the case. The grade of carpet at the big box store was contractor grade and was marked up heavily. We ended up getting the upper tier grade carpet and padding for far less. Shawn also doesn't charge for moving furniture and left the place spotless. I can't say enough good things about the service experience and recommend them highly!

We contacted Shawn to get a quote on installing new carpet in our newly finished basement. Shawn contacted me via text and we arranged to meet and review the work that week. Shawn arrived on time and brought samples to show us. We had an initial idea of what we wanted, namely a light colored carpet, however upon discussion, Shawn recommended a darker multicolor carpet for our needs. We were amenable to this, and he provided plenty of pictures from his previous jobs to give us examples of his work. He was very thorough, explained the choices he had, as well as the pros/cons and price points of each. In the end, we settled for the mid-grade carpet, as this met our budget, plus the added cost may not offset the lifespan of the carpet (If you plan on changing it in 10 years, why pay extra for 30 year durability and warranty) We agreed on a color and brand, and gave a 50% deposit to Shawn that day. He stated it would be about 7 days for the carpet to arrive. 7 days later, Shawn let us know the carpet arrived, and we scheduled a day for him to install. Where the story gets interesting is that our first born child was born the weekend before, so we had to explain to Shawn that we would not be home at the time, but I made arrangements for him to get into the basement to install, which was also the day we were coming home with our little boy! Shawn and his coworker were working away when we arrived, and it took the whole day for install. Overall, the basement looks great! The carpet looks fantastic, and Shawn did a great job explaining the materials he used and the steps he took during installation, as well as why. I would use Riley's Carpet again for future work anytime.

I got in contact with Riley through Angies List - he got back to me the same day and met at my house the next day to check out the space and do samples. costs were exactly in line with what i discussed with homeowners insurance reps. when i asked how soon he could do everything, he said depending on his stock, he could be back the next day. i called BS on that smack talk - NO WAY is he back to finish everything in a day! He didn't quite make 24 hrs, but 36 hours later he was back with another guy and they knocked out EVERYTHING in a matter of hours; i was/am plenty impressed. laid out perfectly seamless connectors between the two different colors of carpet, and the carpet itself has held up almost perfectly over the two year period. when it's time to replace upstairs carpeting, Riley will be my first and only call.

We contacted Riley's carpet services to get a quote on carpet and installation. Shawn came to our house on 12/2/2015 (on time) and gave us a detailed quote for installing carpet in 5 rooms, 1 common area and about 20 steps. He had brought samples and assisted us in picking a color. The quote was in the ball park of other quotes we had received. We decided to go with Shawn because of his reputation on Angie's list, choice of carpet and the fact that there would be no extra costs to move our piano and that he would also tighten the squeaky floor boards before installing the carpet. Installation was scheduled on 12/7/2015. Shawn and his team (2 others) arrived on time and worked from 9 to 5 on both days to finish the job. The team was very professional and the finished job looks really good. Shawn was also very responsive to any texts and voice mails that we left for him. My wife works from home and she felt very comfortable with having Shawn and his team in the house. All the big pieces of furniture were put back after the job was completed and any mess was cleaned up before they left.
