Shawn quickly provided an estimate and then came out to fully inspect the areas needing repair. He explained what needed to be done to correctly fix our issues and once we agreed, he went right to work. Very polite, answered all our questions and cleaned up behind his work. He was correct - it did look like new when he was done. I asked him to review carpet in another part of the house to see if it needed to be addressed and he said it was fine, no need for him to do anything. I would definitely use him again.

Shawn was easy to work with. He promptly replied back to me and provided me with a competitive quote. I had no idea what to expect for a time frame but it seemed like the work was performed quickly but still quality. He went above the original install of the carpet by taping all of the padding. I would definitely recommend Shawn and would use him again.

Great experience with Shaun. He was very quick to respond to messages and was able to schedule us conveniently to have our carpets stretched. I had put off having this work done because I thought it would be very disruptive and labor intensive to move all the furniture. Shaun moved the furniture as he worked and completed the job in just a few hours. Our carpets now look great. The whole process was easy for me and went smoothly.

Shawn was excellent. You deal directly with him through the whole process. He came out next day after i called him and measured the room and showed me samples. He carefully measured the steps so each step had the carpet correctly installed as the width varied a bit on mine. The whole process from first visit to completion was less than a week. I bet i would still be waiting for a first visit with one of the big box stores. Highly recommend and would use again if I need carpet again.

We called Shawn to address a large master bedroom carpet that was about 4 years old that was initially installed by a big box store and which had developed several wrinkles, one of which was a potential trip hazard. Shawn arrived punctually, assessed the job (which turned out to require a bit more effort which increased the initial quote that was based on photographs we had previously shared), grabbed his equipment and then set to work. Shawn's equipment included a device that applies more mechanical leverage than the normal knee kick that is used by many installers, which in turn helped tension the carpet and pull the wrinkles out. Shawn also explained the approach (start point, carpet pull direction, etc.) that he was using so that he could get the best results. After completing the carpet stretch the room was vacuumed and all the trim and fluff were removed. Shawn also noted that with normal use (not involving excessive furniture movements that could inadvertently cause wrinkling) we should contact him to remedy any wrinke issues that may re-occur within a year. We are very satisfied with the work performed and would certainly reccomend him to others for this type of work.

Shawn was fantastic from start to finish. He responded promptly to my request for an estimate. He is extremely knowledgeable and spent time walking me through my options and explaining the pros and cons of those choices. We had a toilet overflow and needed carpet re-installed after pulling back to let sub-floor dry. Shawn came out, installed new padding and re-stretched carpet, glued seems, and installed. Great work and recommended.

We solicited four quotes via Angie's List. Shawn from Riley's responded right away, and he came out the next day to show us samples and provide a quote. While the price was on the higher end of our budget, Shawn's knowledge, personality, communication, and customer service won out over the others. Shawn did a fantastic job on our carpet!! I thought we were going to have to replace our carpet but Shawn was able to stretch the carpet and repair 2 areas of damage from a cat scratching. The carpet looks great! Would definitely use again.

We needed a stair runner replaced asap because we had guests coming in a few days. I already had the stair runner, I just need removal of the old one and installation of the new one. Shawn Riley was awesome. I called after 5 p.m. and he picked up. I explained my situation and he told me he could fit me in the next day after another job. He gave me a quote for removal and installation that was below what some others gave me for installation only. He answered all my questions. He showed up just when he promised, and did the work carefully and professionally. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

We had just purchased a house and needed new carpeting for our personal tastes and Shawn came by on a Monday and installed the carpet by that Thursday. He came in and started measuring right away. As he measured I mentioned my wife wanted gray carpeting, and he said you guys can do whatever you'd like but let me recommend against gray carpeting because it turns black (with dirt and wear and tear). He showed us tons of pictures from previous jobs and we decided on a plush carpet with thicker padding since we were doing our bedrooms. he chatted with us that night at the house for over an hour, just a really cool down to earth guy. He texted me each time to let me know when he had ordered the carpet, when it had been cut, and then when he was headed to the house for installation. Day of installation he asked if he could turn on the AC because I totally forgot to turn it on for him, which says good things about him instead of him just doing it without asking like some other might do. He sent me pictures throughout the day as he installed to put my mind at ease since we were not there and was done maybe 6 hours after he had started. Would highly recommend if you want quick service from a reliable carpet installer.

Shawn and his son arrived on time, got right to work and cleaned up when finished. I am very pleased with the result; the tripping hazard "wrinkle" in my carpet is gone and the seam is invisible. Shawn and his son were very professional, but also very personable. I highly recommend Riley's Carpet Services. It's great that there's a company that will fix problems with carpet so you don't have to replace the whole thing prematurely.
