Description of Work: They graded our backyard, put in underground irrigation system and put down sod.

Description of Work: Based on the reviews I set up a meeting with DCI back in May. After taking off work early and waiting for an hour I was finally able to get in touch with David to find out he forgot about me. Again because of the great reviews I decided to try again this week and set up a meeting for 7:00am on a Thursday morning. At 10pm on Wednesday night I got an email telling me he wasn't going to meet with me because he took a big job. What he didn't know, was that if we liked him, we had a massive job to do and are very flexible about when it happens. I am very disappointed.

Description of Work: DCI did a fantastic job doing pavers in our backyard and around our pool. Will definitely be using them again in the near future

Description of Work: DCI installed a drainage swale along the backside of a storage building and my home, underneath the deck to extend out into the yard. This job included removal of some decking material, two window wells and plant materials. It also included positive grading away from the house, installation of commercial grade separation fabric and mixed river rock and two new window wells and replanting and mulching of replanted materials. Additionally 2 downspouts were buried and a drain installed to remove water away from the house. This job was completed in a timely manner. Dave Irwin, owner of DCI was present on the job the majority of the day. The work crew tidied up very nicely before they left the job site. I am glad to report no more water inside my basement from the heavier rainfalls we seem to get in Maryland now.

Description of Work: We are meeting next week to make the final plans for this project, the final price has not been determined yet. After several estimates his was the most reasonable for improving the water drainage in our yard. The final result has yet to be determined.

Description of Work: Dave showed up for initial meeting and seemed enthusastic about doing work but he never submitted a proposal.

Description of Work: Removed old deck and replaced with cobblestone patio, built retaining wall, addressed poor drainage issues, landscaped yard with perennials, shrubs, sod and small flowering tree.

Description of Work: We live in a town home and our neighbors were getting water in their basement due to a water accumulation problem in our front lawn secondary to the lack of a grade going away from our home. AKA- water pooled in front of our yard creating an undesired pool! Dave Irwin did an excellent job explaining the possible solutions to our problem and gave us a competitive price estimate. We were happy with the work which included creating a grade that sloped down from our home, redoing the landscaping w/ new plants, and putting in a pipe underground to lead water away from our home. Dave was on the site the day the company worked on the yard orchestrating everything and making sure things were done properly.

Description of Work: Used him twice 1st time in 2009 they built a patio and basket ball pad with natal steps and landscaping, Did a great job....very efficient. This year I had him back to add more landscape. They did a great job.

Description of Work: This company quoted my landscaping work for my backyard and they were professional and I believed they would do a good job. But we decided not to spend the money at this time on this porject.

Description of Work: Called...left a message explaining what services I was looking for....and never received a return call back.

Description of Work: I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. Dave came in a timely manner and seemed enthusiastic about the project. He left promising me an estimate in a few days. 2 weeks later I had not received the estimate and although I called 4 times over next two weeks and talked to him once during that time when he promised me the estimate the next day. I did not receive the estimate. I was getting the estimate for a bank rehab loan and it put me behind schedule, I was not happy.

Description of Work: I hired them to put in three flower beds around my house. This involved them planting lots of different flowers and a total of eight bushes.
