Holtzople Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical Services

Holtzople recently completed HVAC work in my home as part of the Power Saver program. The install crew of Tyler, Dwayne, Jacob, Eric, and David were very professional, thorough, and fun. I enjoyed having them around for the day they completed my install. Melissa, from the office, is incredibly responsive and personable. Matt, in service, stopped by to check an issue two days in a row and even followed up after a fix. The time from an estimate to install was quick and I'm enjoying my new units! I hope to, someday, use them again to install more units to finish out my home with this system. Holtzople is highly recommended for anyone in the local MD and PA regions.

Our Holtzople heat pump is six months old, and the technician came today for the first biannual maintenance on the unit. As always, they called two days prior to confirm the scheduled maintenance, and the technician called us 30 minutes prior to arrival to let us know he was coming. The technician was very thorough in testing the performance of the heat pump, and he replaced the air filter element. He also asked if we had any questions, and provided clear and comprehensive answers to all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and friendly.

Kevin was punctual and took the time to explain the system and how it operated to me, since this was the first time I owned a home with a heat pump. They will come out twice a year to tune up the ac in the spring and the heating in the fall--for the price this is a bargain. I love the peace of mind that a maintenance contract provides. I chose this company because the prior homeowner had purchased the system from Holtzople and I was very impressed with how well it has worked for me. All of the people that I have had contact with at Holtzople have been very professional and pleasant. I look forward to a long relationship with Holtzople.

First of all, the receptionist was extremely nice and friendly. What a great start to the day! The technician, Brad, arrived on time and he, too, was nice. He used shoe covers to protect our floors and was professional in all aspects. He seemed very knowledgable. The issue was resolved. We would DEFINITELY use them again! In fact, we signed up for their maintenance program.

Our A/C conked out on Saturday. We called and were given price for Saturday visit and were warned that it was not at all a sure thing that it could be fixed. Wayne came out and diagnosed bad compressor and gave advice on how to proceed. Very satisfied with his professionalism. Advice seemed sound, etc. We will very likely work with them on the repair or replacement needed.

I have used Holtzople for years and have always been satisfied with their services. The technicians are clean-cut, polite, professional and while they may give options for additional services they never are pushy or oversell. Highly recommend. Mike H. was the tech for this service. Mike H. called before he arrived and arrived when he said he would. He was courteous and professional throughout. He even greeted my dog properly. My husband and I purchased our HAVC systems from Holtzople 2.5 years ago. Everything from purchase to repairs (mice in the controls) has been great. I highly recommend Holtzople. I have not meet anyone from this company that I would not welcome in my house, again.

The arrival was as promised. I was called by Brad, my technician, to let me know he was on his way. He was friendly, polite and I was given the option of accompanying him on the inspection of my unit . He thoroughly explained everything he was checking on the system. I did have an option of replacing two parts that were very worn since my system is older but I felt no pressure at all from the technician to do so. He showed me what he had found on each of the parts and I decided to have them replaced. I also thought the customer service you got from the staff in the office was exceptional as they too were very polite and helpful when I inquired into making an appointment. This is the first time I used this company and I would definitely use them again. They are dependable and fair. Great people to work with!!

Heat pump installation technicians Tyler and Jacob called when they were leaving their shop to let us know that they were coming, and arrived at the scheduled time. They worked together as a well coordinated team to remove the old units, pressure test the lines, and install the new units. They were professional, polite, friendly, and they explained all the information about the new system and thermostat. The new system works great, and we are very pleased with the performance of the system and the performance of the installation technicians. I highly recommend Holtzople for HVAC installation and service.

Chris inspired much confidence in the company and their products, while Jeremy and Eric were very professional with the installation. We definitely recommend them.

These guys are great. Brad was the service tech who knows his skill and is able to explain what, why and how he will fix a problem. I've done business with Holtzople for over 5 years now and they just keep on getting better. You can trust this team to do the work professionally and at a fair price.

We had an entire HVAC System installed last year. They were professional and efficient. They took into consideration we live in a cabin and found a way to minimalize exposed duct work, which they made from scratch. The service personnel have all been extremely courteous and respectful of my house.

Everything went very well. repair person arrived on time and did a thorough job. He answered all questions and took the time to educate me on the system. He really knew a lot about the product and provided value beyond just a servicing visit.

I have used them for two homes now for at least 15 years. They have always done an excellent job for me and I would recommend them to anybody. They do the summer and winter maintenance. I have an annual maintenance contract for about $255. You pay once in the summer.

I went with company because they are highly rated on Angie's List. I called for an appointment, having never used this company prior, and was able to get one for the following day. (I could have gotten one for that evening but at their emergency rate.) The technician, Matt, was very pleasant. He was able to identify and fix the problem within about a half hour. The cost was not as outrageous as we had feared. I would recommend Holtzople & Matt to anyone in need of great service at a reasonable cost.

Service: It went well, on one call I thought the pricing was slightly out of line for the time the work took. I communicated my concerns with the owner and he was very responsive in making an adjustment so that we would be happy. On the second call the service was great and the pricing was more in line with what I expected. On both visits the technicians and their work was top notch. Sales: We worked with Tony on the new system and it was a pleasure. The company was slightly higher than another company on their bid - I wanted to use this company as they were larger and could provide more immediate service as needed. They matched the other company so we proceeded. The sales process was excellent. The install on the new system went very well. A very good crew led my a true craftsman. We had a plumber involved due to a new gas connection and that went as expected. All in all I can give the company an A+ on sales/instillation and a solid A on service.

This company has kept our old system running for the past few years, so when the heat pump failed to cool the air we called them immediately to have it looked at. Once we knew the old system was not cost-effective to repair, we decided to stick with Trane and went over three models that would work for our home. We decided to go with the Trane 18XLi heat pump and a matched air handler unit. They were here promptly on the scheduled date to remove the old system and install the new one. The technicians were prompt and courteous, installed the system within a few hours, and our home was much more comfortable that evening. One of the deciding factors for the system we chose was the cost-effectiveness of the system and a rebate offered by Trane, which Holtzople handled for us. A week after installation we were contacted by Chris at Holtzople to arrange a meeting to check on the installed system and make sure we understood the new thermostat. This is a local company that has always impressed us with their fantastic customer service and prompt attention to any trouble we have had with our heat pump system. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Holtzople. They were professional from initial contact all the way to conclusion of the service call. Rodney called 30 minutes before his arrival, arrived on time, and immediately began the a/c maintenance check. When he found an item that needed to be replaced he took the time to explain the problem and asked how I'd like to proceed. I was even impressed that he put on blue booties to avoid getting dirt in the house. Will definitely use them again for our a/c or heating needs.
