Excellent. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely professional. Brad, Matt, Jerimiah, Andre, Melissa, and Kelly were a pleasure to work with. The work was completed on time. The staff works as a team and builds on the expertise of one another. They were more than willing to answer questions and provide instruction on the use of the system. I felt that they were there for me and not rushing out to another call. The job site was cleaned after the work and looked better than when they arrived. I highly recommend Holtzople for all your cooling and heating needs.

When I called and told there customer service what was involved they told me it would cost $94.00 dollars for the whole service. the kid that came out to do the work was rude and inconciderate and would not awnser basic questions. he spent 15 minutes on the project and I got a $210.00 dollar bill. When I asked why it was so much they told me that the $94 dollars was just to determine what was wrong and the additional $116.00 dollors was to do the work. When I questioned why it cost a $116.00 dollors for only 15 minutes of work they told me that is what is listed in the book for the project. I live on an fixed income if they would of told me the total price I would of waited till I had additional money.

During the recent heat wave, my a/c unit went out. After calling several local companies with high ratings on Angie's list, no one could come out that evening. I then contacted Holtzople, who was a little further out, and they arrived at my home an hour and a half later. It turned out that I had a leak. I was fixed that evening, and informed about different options I needed to start considering. And then the fun began.... The following weekend, I hosted a small party. That evening, my a/c went out again. I contacted Holtzople (at 9:30 pm) and Jarred took the time to review my options and investigate the cost that I was looking at for each. He made arrangements for me to have a new unit installed the very next day. His staff was there by 9:30 with new unit and worked throughout the day to install it. The new unit is running great. They even made a modification to allow more air to flow into the unit, making the house cooler and the unit quieter. I am very thankful that I stumbled across their number.

He arrived promptly, donned his plastic booties and came into the house to check out my A/C system problem. He quickly found the bad part, replaced it and checked the refrigerant. After he was done he explained the problem, showed me the faulty part and explained their charges. He was courteous and kind. I was very pleased to have it fixed so quickly! I would recommend this business to anyone.

Excellent. Fixed air conditioner at start of current heat wave. Quick response time and came out a second time at no additional expense to review concerns I had about drainage. Inspected drainage system same day as requested and found no problems but gave us peace of mind.

We were having problems with our air conditioning unit and we decided to have our unit looked at by a local company. We learned that the coil was leaking and it would cost quite a bit to get it fixed. Our unit was almost 16 years old and it made sense to just replace the whole unit. We wanted to make sure we got a company with a great reputation and great reviews about their work, service, etc. so we decided to research companies in our area on Angie's list. Holtzople had excellent reviews and we decided to call. My husband spoke with Melissa and she came right out to give us an estimate. Not only did she show up on time, she did the estimate right there on the spot, (even brought her own printer!!,) and gave us literature on what unit they recommended. She discussed financing and even helped us out with how to get the rebates. When the gentlemen came out to install our new unit they were on time, professional, cleaned up after themselves , and the one gentleman took the time to demonstrate how to use our digital thermostat and gave us idea's on how use our unit the most efficient way. They were polite, and VERY knowledgeable about what they were doing. So glad we chose them, and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

They came twice. They did an excellent job. They guy took top of the furnace and cleaned it excellently. The price was comparable.

I recently purchased a new HVAC system when the old went out during the coldest weeks in December. The salesman from Holtzople was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The company was unable to do the install for a couple days; however, they provided free electric heaters (free) for comfort until the job could get done. A follow-up appointment was completed several weeks after the install and they went over all the manuals and helped complete the local rebate paperwork. The system runs smoothly with no issues to report as of yet. The summer check-up for the unit came up during a busy time at work. A friendly employee from Holtzople called to schedule the appointment via phone; however, I was unable to figure out my schedule at the time. Afterward, Holtzople made numerous automated phone calls to help remind me of the free service that needed to be completed. The service tech was on-time, clean, and friendly.

They came out and were very efficient and professional. They got to taking care of business quickly and didn't waste my time. Knew exactly what to do and left me in better shape than when I called them. They were punctual, professional, and efficient.

Last July our over 20 year old ac died. We received 4 quotes including one from Holtzople. We decided to go with Holtzople as our neighbors had used them and were very satisfied. Holtzople completed the entire installation in a day and a half.....unbelievable....which included the outdoor unit, air handler and all duct work! Their quality and professionalism is top notch and we highly recommend their services!

My old heating/air conditioning units were causing me problems and needed repairs all the time. Holtzople had been my maintenance dealer for several years and recommended that I purchase new units. They came out and performed an evaluation of the unit that would be the most economical and beneficial for my home. They provided prices on several units and explained the value and benefits of each. I selected the middle priced units and they came the following day to install. They were very professional, explained everything, and cleaned up after the installation. I purchased a maintenance agreement and they call and come every 6 months to clean and service my units. I had previously purchased a mini-split unit from Holtzople for an addition to my home and was extremely happy with this purchase. The technician is extremely helpful and professional. He answers all my questions and showed me how to change the filter. He arrives in the designated timeframe and always calls to let me know that he is on his way. They always wear shoe covers to protect my home from tracking in dirt. I wouldn't use anyone other than Holtzople for my heating and air conditioning needs!

The technician called before arrival and arrived on time for our scheduled time slot. He was respectful, friendly and knowledgeable. I have only have pleasant experiences with this company. The cost for the preventative agreement is reasonable. They give outstanding customer service.

Technician called ahead, arrived on-time/early, wore booties on shoes when entering the house. Opened access to Indoor Unit and made several tests, all OK. Opened Outdoor unit and checked freon level, motor start capacitors, and other items, found no problem. Outdoor fan unit was vibrating and upon examination it appeared motor bearing was leaking grease and defective. Replacement parts were available on the Technician's truck. Replaced fan motor. Rechecked all operations successfully. Technician appeared knowledgeable and took time to answer all my questions and concerns. Overall an excellent job, work was done quickly, price was reasonable

This company completed the job and they we're professional, the employees we're not pushy. They arrived on time. They cleaned up after themselves, the price listed above includes Fall Maintenance. I will use this provider again and you should too they are awesome.

They performed a 6 month service review of our heating and a/c units.

We were scheduled for the second call of the day with a service window of between 9:00-11:00 AM. At 9:35 Kevin called to say that he was en route and he arrived at 9:45. Upon arrival Kevin immediately put on shoe covers to protect our floors and faithfully shucked and donned them appropriately as he went about his business during his visit. He spent the next 10-15 minutes locating the units in the system, explaining what the inspection entailed, and getting a clear idea of what our humidifier needs were for the estimate. For the next hour and a half Kevin diligently inspected the components of both systems. When this was completed he went over all of the inspection points on each unit and provided an estimate for the installation of the whole house humidifier which he recommended be installed at the beginning of the next heating season. When finsihed, Kevin provided a form for signing up for a preventive maintainence agreement, going over the particulars without any coercive "hard sell" which I appreciated. I was favorably impressed with the level of service and the professionalism provided by Kevin. While I am still on the fence on the preventive maintainence agreement I will llikely have Holtzople's install our whole house humidifier in the fall and I would not hesitate to call them should my system require service.

Recommended by a friend. Asked them to give us an estimate to provide and install a split heat pump HVAC system to zone the house. The person promised a complete estimate but never delivered it. Some weeks later we inquired about the delay and were told they were too busy to comply. Not a proffesional delivery of service.

Excellent salesperson, Melissa. Very responsive to all questions. Did work on time and for amount quoted. Even managed to find a less expensive component for part of the work. I will use them for all heat pump service from now on.

Last Saturday, I noticed that my house was feeling a bit frosty...according to our thermostat the temperature had dropped to 62 degrees. I contacted Holtzople's and someone was out within the hour. Unfortunately, the tech that came out could not correct my problem. I needed a part which could not be ordered until Monday!!! On Monday, I spoke with Andre, the service manager. I expressed frustration that I had been without heat all weekend long and needed a part, which not only had to be ordered, the part was not a guaranteed solution. Andre apologized and offered to come out to my home that afternoon and personally take a look at my furnace. Andre arrived at agreed upon time and brought Chris to assist. After about 45 minutes, my heat was restored! Chris and Andre apologized for having to be without heat for the past few days. Not only was I delighted to have my heat restored, I felt that Andre and Chris cared about my crisis--they understood how horrible it is to be without heat in the middle of winter and were dedicated to finding a resolution. I appreciated their willingness to respond, not only to my lack of heat, but my concerns with their company. Their commitment to customer service is apparent. I would recommend Holtzoples for their attention to customer's needs and desire to stand behind their company's reputation.

In 2010 Holtzople Heating & Air Conditioning installed a ductless mini-split system in my house. Jerred Holtzople took the time to research all of the options to come up with the best unit to fit my needs and to qualify for the energy credits. Since then I have had Holtzople service not only the unit they installed but also a previously installed ductless mini-split and a heat pump system. Chris Norbury performed the service this fall (2012). He did a very thorough job of servicing the systems and recommended a Compressor Saver to help extend the life of the heat pump system. I am very pleased with their service.

After reading so many good reviews on Angie's list, I contacted Hotzople to have our heat pump serviced for the fall. The unit had not been serviced in the fall in a number of years and has always worked, but not as good as I thought it should work, and our electric bill has been outrageous - so I thought getting the fall maintenance done on the unit would help. I was given a 7:30 - 8:00 time window and was told I would get a phone call from the technician before he arrived. On the day of the service, I received a call about a half hour before he arrived, and he arrived promptly at 7:30. He was very talkative, friendly and an absolute pleasure to work with! He wore shoe covers in the house and made sure to remove them when going into our dirt basement and outside, and putting them on when on the finished level of our house. When he was done, he swept up any dirt that was brought upstairs, and probably left the house cleaner than it was when he arrived! After he had inspected the unit, he determine that the capacitor needed replaced and the pad on the humidifier needed to be replaced. We agreed to replace the capacitor, but mentioned that we didn't believe the humidifier was connected. He verified that it wasn't connected, and agreed to connect the unit into the system, which wouldn't take much work at all. While he was connecting the humidifier, it was not running properly and he determined that the wiring in the thermostat was incorrect. He then basically rewired everything and replaced the thermostat with a newer one that we had previously purchased, but never got put in. As he was doing the rewiring, he determined that copper tubes, rather than fuses were used to connect the components, which was a fire hazard. He replaced the copper tubes with fuses which made the wiring safer. He also determined that the heat sequencer needed to be replaced. He was here about 4 hours, and did a very thorough job! As he was doing the work, he mentioned a few additional add ons that we could think about for the future, which was a nice value added discussion. He thoroughly explained each problem and what it would cost before doing the work. He also explained the maintenance agreement, and with the savings on the maintenance agreement, it didn't cost us much more to get it, which takes care of the spring maintenance on the unit as well. I would definitely recommend Hotzople and particulary Chris Norbury to anyone who needs work on their heat pump!

Chris Norbury came at the scheduled time and was friendly and professional. He found some things that needed replacement but the system was still under a parts and labor warranty so there was no charge to me for them. He told me that the system is in good shape. Chris also recommended a unit for my furnace that would help save 10-25% on my oil bill without sacrificing comfort. I would highly recommend Holtzople to anyone. I have used them since 2004 when I had my old furnace. They came to my house during a snowstorm when nobody else would!!

I called the day after Hurricane Sandy once my power was back on. I had no heat pump operation but I did have emergency heat. They explained that they were using today for customers with zero heat, but they could be out in the morning. I found that to be a perfectly good solution. Jeremiah came 15 minutes early, diagnosed the issue as burnt contacts on the heat pump, and it was fixed within an hour. Charged 225 total which to me was very reasonable. I will use any time I need more HVAC work.
