The handyman was a nice man, however, the job was over priced. It did not need to take nearly 5 hours.

It's not finished yet. So, I'm not very happy with the company. The job they did was okay. But they're pretty slow and they charge on time. That's the issue. I'm not going to use them again, at least, to install a door. It was not a good decision to choose this company to do such a kind of a job. I would tell a friend not to use them.

Jimy Smith was our handyman and he was excellent from start to finish. On time, very professional, easy to talk to and understood our needs. Was helpful in understanding the pros and cons of each option where applicable. Mr Handyman is not the least expensive option but for the piece of mind and professional service, well worth it!

Mr. Handyman carpenter and drywall hanger/finisher Charlie did a wonderful job installing a gas range hood exterior vent and bulkhead in my newly renovated townhouse kitchen. The rough in and pipe channeled to and capped on an outside wall was completed the several days. Drywall was installed on the bulkhead, as well as a seven foot section of an existing roughed in wall that enclosed a staircase down to my lower-level:recreation room and den-turned office area. He spent a full four days meticulously; finishing these areas plus areas over new plumbing in the powder room, areas around a replacement fireplace and a set of replacement French doors (leading out to the deck) with three coats of joint compound. The finish sanding was thorough, leaving no cracks or uneven surfaces behind. He was punctual, competent, and hard working. For six days of work and a superb job done, the price was moderate and reasonable. I would definitely recommend the services of Charlie at Mr. Handyman of North & Central MD for drywall projects, big and small.

It went well. The services were clearly stated before the work was done. The the person who came was punctual and professional. I couldn't have asked for much more and I'll have them return to complete a few more projects around the house.

Excellent job! Very professional, prompt and was able to handle a variety of tasks. This is the 2nd time we've used this provider and plan to use him again when our needs dictate.

Cost was double what it would be if we had contractor do it. I had leaks in 2 windows so I showed those to handyman. My 1st mistake was that I should have stopped there and let him fix those since they were most important to me. He left these for last and 5 hours later when it became clear it was going to rain, he said it would have to wait until tomorrow. I pushed him to caulk since I knew I would have to pay minimum 2 hours for him to spend 30 minutes caulking. Now I have streaks on windows from caulk caused by rain and I have to re-caulk. I had used Mr. handyman before for leaking windows but the guy did that first and then did other projects to use up 2 hour minimum. I showed handyman rotten wood in garage door trim and he suggested to replace trim with PVC. It would cost more than wood but would not need maintenance in future. My 2nd mistake was to agree to this. I should have gotten a list of supplies from him and then bought those myself and then scheduled another trip. Instead I paid double for the materials (it is in the fine print) and I paid him over $100 hour to go to lumber yard. So in the end, the PVC trim cost me $500 in materials and his time to get it. Never again! He finished trim but then with upcoming storm was not going to caulk trim or windows. I pushed him to finish and caulk. I was not going to pay more for what I consider I was already overpaying for. I also paid lots of extra fees like $75 for supplies (caulk?) from his truck plus another van fee plus other fees from fine print. I had to caulk the nail holes in garage door. I have to re-caulk windows. I have to finish patching wood trim on door that he did not finish. So out of 3 tasks, none were finished. The nail holes started rusting before I caulked them so apparently he doesn't use galvanized nails on outdoor trim? My fault for not finishing the job sooner. Owner agreed I should not have pushed him to caulk and so I am responsible for caulking failure. So they do good quality work slowly but surely and are clueless about priorities of work to be done.

Mr. Jeremy was prompt, efficient, professional, courteous and finished the job within budget. He did an excellent job of upgrading the deck and would definitely hire from Mr. Handyman again.

Mr. Handyman was okay but too expensive. So, we would not use them again. They will not even take their materials without an extra charge. We have to pay because they would not take it without charging more. We have to take it ourselves. They would have done it but would have charged us more money. The only thing that stood out for us is that outrageous price for a little work that he did.

He's my all-time favorite. Everything about him is good. We even had a tree fall on our house and the people they have working for them are just so knowledgeable that you look at the hourly cost but it really ends up to be not too much because they don't waste any time because they know what they are doing. The guy who owns it is very honest and very helpful like he helped us work with our insurance company. They are so good we tried to get them to go down in my parents' house but they can't do that because the franchise covers a certain area and they are not allowed to go into other people's other areas. You pay so much for them to come out and then every 15 minutes is so much money so you might as well get your money's worth if you have other things to be fixed and they are very honest about all that. I think pricing is very fair.

The man they sent was very knowledgeable. He was real good and the work was great quality. The only drawback was that the estimate was not very accurate.

The handyman was courteous, professional, and did the job correclty, though it was a bit pricey for they work performed.

Fantastic service and quality of work. We hired Jason for six days, and learned fast that he has the skills to handle every area where I we needed assistance. At first, that was drywall repair, but we soon learned that he is equally skilled in fine carpentry and wood trim, interior painting, removal of an old wall so what had been an office of mine for the past 20 years could be recovered as the original living room of the house. Jason was also skilled with refinishing of water-damaged kitchen cabinet doors, installation of a handrail to the basement, repair of a damaged chimney wash, replacement of a porch roof support post, etc. I was not able to stump him with any of the desired work; he had the knowledge and skills to masterfully perform the work.

I've been fortunate that the first person they sent here has been sublime and that he continues to do a great job. I've never been dissatisfied with anything they've done. The grates I bought he told me that I wouldn't like them and he went to Home Depot and bought the ones that he thought I would like. And he was right. My grandson has his own little tool belt and likes to talk to the handyman and my grandson thinks he's helping him work. The handyman is still able to get all of his work done. He's done a number of stuff for me and cleans up extremely well after he's finished. I'm unable to do the things I used to and I love that there is someone I can trust to come into my home and take care of everything.

It all went well. The storm door as never worked as smoothly. The patio is sparkling clean for the first time in years. The service technician was helpful and friendly throughout.

The associate from Mr. Handyman was very professional, and explained what he was doing every step of the way, as well as asking my permission if he needed to make an adjustment to the existing frames of the doors for the locks to fit better. The service was completed in 2 hours, but probably could have been done in 1:30-1:45, had I not engaged him as much as I did with conversation.(lol)

Great job! We have had them come over to this house and our last house to do just about anything. You pay by the hr. (there is a min. # hrs.) and have your list ready. They are a little pricey but great if you want it done right. They are also on time for the appt. You can be a little vague (e.g. I want the basement done) and they will do all they can to do it in the time scheduled. Best to have a list and the materials ahead of time to save money. They have basic supplies (screws, etc) and their own tools, but not bi-fold doors, like we needed. They also clean up their mess.
