Description of Work: They replaced my attic fan. It was an old fan and they had to get on the roof and replace the whole unit. It was all explained clearly and the work was done quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Description of Work: I had a two broken gates around my fence in my backyard surrounding my pool. Unfortunately the first call I made was to Long fence. What a mistake that was. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER! I than call the HandyMan company. They came out two days after the call and Charlie (the technician) informed me that he felt he could fix the gates as opposed to getting a new ones. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that news. It took them about 1 week and it was a seamless, painless process. Does than fence look brand new?....No , but it looks really good and it it was about a thousand dollars cheaper than what those crooks at Long fence offered. Ironically I didn't get my estimate from Long until 1 week after the project was done. It took them 7 weeks just to get me a quote and this was after 4 calls to 4 different managers at there office. I'm not exaggerating. Kudos to Charlie and Handyman they did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I called this company to find out if they could give me an estimate for a problem with my garage door. The woman I talked to, Annette, would not answer my request for the cost of the estimate even though I repeatedly asked for it. She kept asking me for more information and stating she would discuss costs later. I finally had to insist she tell me if the estimate was free, and she admitted finally that it was not. i refuse to pay for an estimate for a job when there is a very good chance they will not be able to help me, since I already had one handyman in the area tell me there was nothing he could do. i think they should come right out and say they bill for estimates when they are asked. I find this company to be very difficult to communicate with and I will never call them again.

Description of Work: I've used Mr. Handyman for the past six years for all my honey-do lists, but they've also been my go-to for larger projects like installation of kitchen cabinets. I always start the list for the next visit while they are there to give me the list of supplies and time estimate. I know they've rotated work schedules to get the same guy to my house, which I really appreciate.
