They were quick to get to the job. Its usually the same technician that comes out to your place each time.

They were on time, and performed the service efficiently. I would use them again.

They said they were in Maryland and do not service my area. They said to contact Angie's List to get a refund, and that they would refund it if Angie's List does not.

Everything went fine system was checked out & capacitor was replaced on the outside unit.

We woke up the morning of Saturday, Mar 1, and realized the furnace was not working. I called the provider ~11am and left a message with the answering service in which I stated that I had no heat. Sam called me back within an hour, explained that he was finishing up a job, quoted me their weekend diagnostic rate, and agreed to come as soon as he finished the current job. About 30 mins later he called to say that he was on his way. He arrived in uniform, put on protective booties while in the home, and told us that he would diagnose the issue for a flat rate (very reasonable) and then quote us on the repair. Sam systematically diagnosed our 20 yr old furnace. Rather than guess which part was broken, he tested and temporarily replaced potentially faulty parts as he attempted to find the root problem. After having seen other HVAC service people in action, I was amazed at how thorough he was! If there was any life left in the furnace, he was going to find it. Unfortunately it was the main circuit board which would take a few days to get. Sam was more than willing to order the part, but I knew the furnace had seen its last days. At my request, he called their salesman, John, to see if he could come out on short notice. Sam and John both shared our concern for the 10" of snow and 20 degree temps coming on Mon & Tue. Sam wanted to loan us electric heaters, but we had our own. John was out within an hour in uniform and booties to discuss our options while Sam went on to his next job. John spent over an hour measuring the house, tracing duct work, asking us about hot/cold spots, and putting together what we would need. Again, this was a Saturday! The package prices he offered were excellent - over a thousand less for the furnace and to add A/C than quoted by competitors in the past. These guys were phenomenal; they were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and caring. We are getting a system installed as soon as possible. They say Mon, but with the storm we will see. I will update this review once the installation is complete. Update: Long overdue, but as promised - the update. Installation was prompt, the guys were extremely careful, very clean, and refreshingly courteous. All of the workers with this company that we have encountered have truly cared about the customer and are there to serve. It is now nine months later, the heat was great last winter, our A/C bill over the summer was $100-150/month less than with window units in the past, and the heat is back on for the fall. We will continue to use Moon Services as our HVAC provider. As an aside, we purchased a second property (a duplex) for renovation and John provided an estimate. Due to general contractor (not related to Moon Services) and budget issues, John then provided us a less expensive option. He provided these estimates at no cost to us and has been extremely supportive. Unfortunately the renovation has taken a bad turn and we are at the mercy of the bank and contractor - the HVAC choice is out of our hands. We would be using Moon Services if we had the option.

Furnace/ac tune up. Nick did a superb job! We had a few challenges with keeping the heat running but he kept at it until everything was perfect! Great company and I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Thanks Nick!!

I had been experiencing water leaking from my air conditioner so I purchased a groupon for air conditioner and furnace check up. The technician , Rick, inspected my air conditioner and furnace, inside and out. He determined that the leak I was experiencing was due to a clogged filter, nothing more. He did, however, notice that the capacitor and contactor were worn and in need of replacement. He made a few calls and determined that these items were still under warranty so he replaced them free of charge! Considering this was the first time I ever used Moon Services, and they were not the original installers of my system, I was extremely impressed! Rick was very professional, explained what he was doing, and answered all my questions and concerns. He was conscientious wearing shoe protectors inside my home and He even watched out for my little dogs so they wouldn't escape as he came in and out of my house. I was thoroughly impressed with their honesty and service. They could have made up something causing the leak and charged me to "fix" it, but they didn't. They could have also charged me for replacing parts under warranty, but they didn't . I must say this was the most pleasant I've ever had with a repair company.

Moon put the new furnace in quickly. The tech forgot to light the pilot for the water heater and turn on the safety switch after installation of the furnace, but it was quickly resolved with a call and response. Communication with Moon was always prompt. I would use Moon for future service.

Office called to let me know technician was on his way. Andrew arrived promptly, introduced himself and went right to work. Replaced the air filter and showed me the old one. Went to work outside to check a/c and explained in detail what he found. He made the recommendation to replace the capacitor and contact (was the original) unless we were planning on replacing the unit in the near future. Explained exactly what he was doing and why. We chose to accept his recommendation and the work was completed promptly.

Really impressed with their service. After my ac failed on a Thursday, it took a while to shop around. Over that weekend we tolerated (?) 82 degrees in the house with 100% humidity outside while we tried to decide what to do. Decided to go with Moon Services based on price. On Monday I told Moon Services to go ahead with ac, and then got a call from my realtor that my house (which is on the market) was going to be shown the next day (Tuesday) to potential buyers. I happened to mention this to the Moon rep and to help me out with showing my house they had the installers at the house Monday afternoon. The two technicians stayed late to finish the install. We actually ended up with two showings the next day (Tuesday) and were really glad the house temp was 74 degrees, and not 82. Very impressed with them and their company. Would recommend them to anyone.

He did a good job of explaining what he was doing and any issues he came across. He also recommended cleaning of the coils, which we did and was upfront about the cost/benefit of spending the extra money to clean the coils

Everything about this company was good other than price. They did not due any calculations for sizing just used the 3 Tons because thats what I was replacing.

Moon Services is my preferred heat and air provider. About 3 years ago our air conditioning unit broke and we could not get the coil so we knew we had to replace the air conditioner. After receiving another estimate, which was a brief write up and no details/options provided from a local company, we decided to contact Moon Services because they were a sponsor of the county soccer team. Steve Moon, the owner, came to our house, reviewed several options with us from replacing parts, to just fixing the air or upgrading the heat and air. We took the third option because of a tax credit, flexible payment options, and felt upgrading the entire system at one time would be best overall. Plus, Steve stated our air conditioning would be within 4 degrees difference between our upstairs and downstairs - this had always been a problem. The unit was installed and it has lived up to every expectation and Moon Services has surpassed all my expectations too. They are always proactive, courteous and professional. We know our regular technician and love the maintenance program and auto filter delivery program (which is way cheaper than store filters and last longer). The customer service keeps you informed of expected arrival times, follows up with services and confirms everything was fine. I love Moon Services and recommend them to everyone I know.

The technicians arrived at a reasonable time. The company called to state the technicians were on their way. The technicians were very courteous and put on protective footwear in order to protect our home from any soil. They were very pleasant. Both had been to our home before. It's nice to see people who stay with the company for a long period of time. They did a great job and called for me when the installation was completed. We've had Moon Services as our HVAC servicer for about 7 - 8 years and have no intention of switching to another provider. We highly recommend them.

From the initial meeting with Steve Moon to one follow up, Moon services has been there. I would use them again.

Had a problem that was remedied. Hector was great and had a technician helper in training with him - that he educated.

Hector was on time and very professional, gave me great details about what he was doing. I even joined their membership program.

It turned out excellent. I'm very pleased with their service. Steve Moon is the owner and was the one I met with. The price he quoted was the price he stuck with. I appreciated his honesty. He pointed out some things that other contractors didn't point out to me. The techs were great and cleaned up wonderfully!
