Brian Seligman responded promptly to inquiry and came by home for free estimate to insulate attic and the rest of home. We opted for attic insulation only for about $1,700 total. The following week his people came by and provided first rate service. They should up propmptly in the morning and were done by noon. We have noticed a drastic difference in the temperature upstairs since the insulation was installed. I'd say some 5-7 degrees on the coldest nights. No need to turn up the thermostat at light to keep the house warm. Overall, I was very pleased with the ease of scheduling, cost and quality of service.

The crew that came out for the original appointment was unable to start the work because of an equipment issue. What impressed me was how the company recovered. I received an immediate call from management with an apology, and we rescheduled for that upcoming weekend. I've been in situations where companies basically just said "not our fault, tough luck" and re-rescheduled me as if I were a new customer. USA Insulation, however, demonstrated their professionalism and responsiveness by working me in on the upcoming weekend. Both crews showed up on time and set up efficiently. The crew that actually performed the work finished early. In sum, I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to a friend.

I ended up getting a refund for this deal because the company said to wait until all the other work was done. They were very nice in letting me know this.

The team from USA Insulation was very professional and competent. We were pleased with the quality of the work as well as the speed in which they completed it. While it was a slightly bit more than we were hoping to pay, we have noticed a real difference in our bedrooms with this first cold snap. The insulation makes our rooms warmer and we expect to have lower heating bills this winter as well. Thanks to the guys at USA Insulation for job well done.

Everyone was very professional and accommodating. "Interviewed" multiple insulation companies before choosing USA Insulation to address our almost completely uninsulated attic. The pricing was competitive. We really appreciated their approach to our service needs and various requests/questions. The work was done very well, efficiently and exactly as promised. We are pleased with the results. We recommend USA Insulation to others and would certainly consider them again ourselves for our future insulating needs and/or projects.

Fantastic! I could not be happier! We just bought our house in June. While we were doing renovations in the bathrooms on the second floor, during the hottest months of the year, the temperature on the second floor was at least 10 degrees warmer than downstairs. We called our A/C service technicians thinking there was a problem with A/C unit only to discover we had only about 2-3 inches of insulation in the attic! This was something our home inspector completely missed! At that point, we planned to have new insulation blown in as soon as possible. The team arrived promptly at 8:30 am and went right to work. The team installed the ventilation baffles first and the covers over the recessed lights first, and then went to work blowing in the insulation. The entire time, the team took care to keep the mess down and to protect our hardwood floors. The entire operation was done by 12:30 pm. I had done some investigating myself and estimated that I could have done the job myself for about $1,200, but that was without the baffles and covers for the recessed lights. In the end, I was very happy I went with USA Insulation. The team paid close attention to the details, and even added more insulation when they had to go back up in the attic to grab something and disturbed the nice blanket they had put down. The insulation on the access panel was also a nice touch to prevent hot/cold air from escaping. We are now nice and warm, and can't wait to see what kind of difference the insulation will make next summer!

It was actually something wrong with my attic cover. I called Brian and he called me back the next business day to give me my options. He stayed in contact with me the entire time to make sure I had everything I needed. It went well. The workers came out within the time frame they gave me. They were neat and clean. They explained what they were going to do and did it relatively quickly. It was a very hot day but they did not complain at all.

Were prompt and friendly both during the estimate and day of service. Very clean, vacuumed inside and even sweeping the driveway to ensure blown in insulation was not left outside or inside. Had to postpone due to weather and provided discount due to inconvenience. Would recommend again.

The workman arrived early on the scheduled day. They were careful to lay down tarp and to keep things clean. They worked most of the day - two man team. The saleman and I had discussed need for new soffets and baffles but the workman knew nothing about that part of the job. After I placed phone calls to the owner and salesman (Brian and Mike), they came back a week later to finish the job. What I learned was that every thing that you believe you are getting as part of the job should be explicitly written down in the contract so there is no misunderstanding. I don't think I ever received the Angie's List discount as that was not accounted for in the write-up I received from USA Insulation. So again, it is a good idea to make sure everything is written up in detail on the contract. While there was some miscommunication between me and this vendor, I believe Brian (the owner) made things right, Mike, the salesman, was also responsive and as a consumer that's as good as it gets. I would do business with this company again.

I called USA Insulation to set up an appointment for their staff to come to my house and give me an estimate for attic insulation. Because of my work schedule and their availability, I set up an appointment for three weeks later (July 19). However, I called a week later and the representative told me that they could come earlier on July 10. Although it meant having to take off from work earlier, I agreed and set up the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I called to ask around what time they would be coming to my house. Good thing I called as I wasn't even on the schedule, even though I had spoken to the same representative both times. He apologized for the mistake and said that I was on the schedule for the original appointment date of July 19. That was three days ago, and I'm still waiting for them to show up. I understand that mistakes are made and agreed to the rescheduled appointment after the representative apologized. However, not showing up or calling, particularly after the first incident, indicates a lack of responsiveness and poor customer service.

Company was very responsive to my initial request for an estimate and were reasonable with their fee. The crew was there for the majority of the day and, from what I observed, was working the entire time. They left the site clean and made sure that all tools, etc in the garage were covered before they started work. The true test of the actual insulation's worth will be how it performs this winter and I will update this review after a cold month or two. Given the installation process I would recommend the company but will reserve judgement on the benefit of the actual product until January/February.

The company was very responsive and quick to schedule an estimate and actual installation. Installers were very professional and took care to not damage anything in the house as they weaved their equipment into the attic. They did a great job cleaning up afterward and showed me everything they did along with answering all of my questions. Very happy with their work.

* Learning the hard way that many of Angie's "Big Deals" are a great way to lure someone in to spend lot's more $$. My suggestion would be to see about getting an estimate before buying the deal- if you are like me you have NO idea how many square feet are in your attic so it was a huge shock when I got the final estimate. At that point I had already bought the deal so I went ahead with it, but talked to neighbors who had same work done for less by highly recommended insulation companies. *My main frustration was when the owner of the business called me he kept insisting on meeting with me and my husband and asked several times when he would be available. I politely explained he travels A LOT and he could not meet with us. I was insulated that he asked once more and I put my foot down. I'm a capable middle aged woman who due to my spouses work I make the major decisions in our home renovation. If you are someone who is offended by a patriarchal attitude I'd say call someone else.
