Installed kitchen counter tops, back splash and well as the counter for the bar pass through, they also installed two bathroom vanity counter tops and a ledge in the hallway. I was pleased with their service from beginning to end, very professional and courteous. Measurements were spot on, there is one seam in the kitchen counter and you would never know it was there. Overall, I am very pleased and would use them again. I felt the price was good as well. I also purchased two sinks from them and their prices were comparable in price with the local stores.

Selected beautiful granite - but sales person was not honest - claimed the countertop would not support the granite - tried to sell us expensive support that was not needed. We selected slab and identified how to cut the granite. Once installed, one section was installed with the granite in a different direction than all the other counters - does not match. Owner will not return our phone calls to resolve the problem despite numerous calls. Would not recommend this company.

The installers were held up on earlier job. We were informed after we called them. Once they arrived, they laid down protective cloths on the floor, and began the demo and install. They attached a protective support between the dishwasher and counter top. No surprises. Cutout for stove top went smoothly and sized properly. The underslung sink was attached, the hole for faucet was cut after the counter top was placed. Wow, it's a beauty.

Just the right granite for my new kitchen countertops was the most important factor to me in the remodeling project. I visited granite yards all over Maryland to the point where they all started to look the same. It was frustrating to be told that I needed to work through a "fabricator" in order to get estimates. I knew, of course, that it meant they would give the fabricator a price and then that price would be jacked up. Luckily, I came upon United Granite. I knew it would be a positive experience from the moment I got out of the car - a representative (Michelle) happened to be in the parking lot and she greeted me with a genuine and warm welcome. The selection of granite slabs was amazing and they had just what I was looking for - extraordinary and unusual stone. Row after row, I was faced with gorgeous granite choices that I had not seen anywhere in my previous searches. Because I was looking for the most unusual or "exotic" granite possible, I was worried about the cost. Much to my surprise, not only did Eddie (the owner) tell me the price on the spot, I knew from previous searches that he had beaten the price of nearby competitors. Eddie treated me like a queen and took the time to really understand what I was looking for. He gave me much appreciated personal attention and his design consultation was spot on. It was so clear that he loves his job and more importantly, he loves the stone! Choosing a slab was a difficult decision because there were several stand outs. Once decided, I came back several times while my kitchen was under construction just to "visit" the granite that would soon be in my home. Michelle and Eddie joined in my excitement, which made it so much fun. The layout was done by Eddie, himself, along with Mustafa, who cuts the stone. They used professional spatial design skills to create the template and included us in the collaboration to be sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. The installation went very smoothly, as Mustafa clearly had done this hundreds of times before. I am so happy with my kitchen countertops and the experience of obtaining them was professional as well as delightful.

The project went extremely well. The sales rep Michelle was very helpful and great to work with.The workers showed up on time installed the counter tops, left the area cleaned and the granite looks wonderful. We are very happy and will used this company again. Granite is expensive and we got a good deal by selecting from some of their pre-cut granite. If you don't need very large pieces you can save a lot by going with pieces that are left over which we did.

We made one trip to the showroom in Elkridge just to look at the different stone options and get a rough estimate on price and timeline. We returned to pick our slab and sink and put down a deposit. United sent a representative to our house to take detailed measurements for the stone, and then a few days later, sent a team to install the stone and take final payment. We are overall very happy with our new countertops! One of our window sashes that was made was a little shorter than we had measured out, but it ended up looking okay. Their team was pretty good about keeping in touch and scheduling our services. I would definitely recommend United Granite to a friend.

United Granite's provides a massive selection of marble and granite of all qualities. You are able to roam around as long as you would like with zero pressure from the staff. Customers are treated with respect and the staff was very knowledgeable and responsive to all questions. We worked with Warren Epstein who is a true professional, extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of marble/granite, and has many years of home design to help with picking out colors and textures within a set budget. He provided multiple alternatives during the process and was able to provide background information and relevant data to make this purchase fast, easy, and one of the best purchases ever. We could not have had a better representative! At our first appointment with Warren, we spent approximately three hours looking at granite/marble and learning about the product from Warren. The experience was so interesting and fun that we could not believe three hours had passed. We picked out our marble/granite that day. The experience was so pleasant and fascinating, that we went back twice more to look around, talk with Warren, and drop off our sink/faucets for a custom, perfect fit. Warren is so responsive that he called during the installation to ensure all was going well. I felt like I received millionaire service on a small budget.

I wasn't at all pleased with my experience at United Granite. The sales person I was referred to, did not get up to welcome me, he looked as if he could only barely look away from his computer to discuss my job. He gave me a clip board and sent me to look at slabs. The other companies I visited gave me an initial walk through, giving me info about the different grades of granite. Not here. When I was done selecting a few, he gave me prices and a lukewarm goodbye. I have a small kitchen, maybe that's why the service was so lackluster, but at Classic Granite they treated me and my small job like any customer with a celebrity worthy kitchen. Needless to say I didn't work with them. I will say their granite selection was extensive.

Front office attention to detail is lacking. After initial appointment which generated estimates, none of the information was saved to the sales associates computer. The figures I wrote down for pricing of one of the countertops was quoted as a seamless slab, I was very adamant about not having any seams. The second appointment was to finalize the price and provide a deposit. At the second appointment, my measurements had to be re-entered and re-calculated because none of the initial info had been saved....and now the figure quoted for seamless, was really the figure for a slab with a seam...and the new price for seamless was much more....so we settled on a price for seamless because I really did not want a seam. They also had a special running on their website which I qualified for a free sink, so that was great, I picked out the sink. Next appointment was to have the measuring guy come out to make exact pro line measurements. All went well, He asked what sink was being installed? He had a sheet with sinks they offered and I pointed to the one we chose. Day of install...the wrong sink was used to template the slab....double bowl, one big side, one small side....can't just flip the sink, the slab was cut to fit.....and my specific request and payment for a seamless slab.....didn't happen....I got 2 pieces and a seam. After multiple calls back and forth to the office with various explanations....I decided to keep the wrong sink, use their plumber to change all the plumbing at a discount and got money back from the price of seamless......as upset as I was.....the shining stars were the install crew and the plumber! Omar and his partner were awesome. They installed with exacting perfection, made multiple tiny adjustments and were conscientious about making too much dust....and the seam , I hardly notice it, it was done so well. Omar is such a professional, he understands what the customer wants, I knew he could make that seam disappear...and he just about did. I would use United again but only if I was assured Omar would be the installer!

The selection process was nice. The warehouse/shop had a nice large selection. You can roam as long as you want without being bothered. Once you pick out your selection you meet with a sales rep. to discuss price. Once you agree on price you give a deposit that is NOT refundable. They will call you relatively soon to set an appointment to have your space measured. Then the final call will be made to set up for the install. The installers were very good and been with the company for year's.

This was the second granite store we ordered granite from and I am so glad we ended up at United Granite. The first place was not able to cut the stone we chose becuase it was too fragile. It was also going to take them 9 days from measuring to installing the stone. Their slabs were difficult to see they way they were stacked and the store hours were not condusive to workiing people. Plus their salesperson shadowed us as though we were going to run off with a thousand pound slab of granite. A complete pain in all respects. We had to find another granite store quickly because our new cabinets were all installed, our contractor was just waiting for us to get the counter in so he could finish the plumbing and move to his next job. United Granite was the perfect answer. Their hours are very working consumer friendly. They display their stone so that it faces the viewer. The prices are very good and their selection is extensive. Sam, the salesman was helpful when we needed answers or to suggest stones but he didn't shadow us, letting us roam and discuss things in private. He was perfect. Then once we picked our slab, a Betularie stone, I returned to the store after they measured the counters to template the slab. What a great experience. Their stone mason, Omar, is an artist. He took time to dicuss the layout of my kitchen, looked at the tiny photos I had on my phone of the color of the cabinets and offered his expert advice. He was so careful with the flow of the colors of the stone; placing the gray and silver markings closer to the black and grays of the stainless steal appliances, and placing the warmer tones by the wood cabinets. The granite was installed just 4 days after it was measured. The installation went smoothly and the granite is gorgeous. It fits beautifully with just a sliver of a seam. Everyone who see's the counter remarks on the harmony of the colors and flow to the cabinets and appliances. It is remarkable. United Granite was the absolute best, from selection, to price, to stone cutter, to salesman, to installers.

We were looking for Soapstone Countertops and had trouble finding much selection in the Baltimore area. United Granite is open 7 days per week, has a great selection and very reasonable prices based on our online research. It's always nice to go to one retailer, pick out your slab and know you are getting the particular slab installed. The sales staff was very friendly, helpful and not pushy in the least. Our installation was scheduled quickly and the installers arrived on the front end of their timeframe. The only issue in this initial process was we received a call to change our install date. The person calling said they needed to confirm and never called us back which was confusing but they came on the originally scheduled Saturday. The issue was there was a mix-up, our backsplash was not included in the work order and they did not have the piece with them. This caused them cut our cooktop cut-out a bit too far back. The installers seemed annoyed when we asked about the backsplash and tried to talk us out of installing one. After calling the store they apologized and the installer said they'd raturn 3 days later to install the backsplash. That day came and we had not received a phone call. When we called to check they said we had been over looked. We also noticed some brown staining in the stainless steel sink that comes with the countertops. We know that the sink included would not be top of the line but did not expect discoloration almost immediately and we did not leave cans in the sink or use any tomato products beforehand. The installation crew did come the following day to install our backsplash and they did bring some stainless steel cleaner which did not clean the stain. Somehow while cutting our backsplash seam, it cracked, which we do not hold against the installation crew. We had not received any updates regarding our sink but they did schedule a 3rd visit to replace the backsplash. The day of the 3rd visit we were given a 4 hour installation window. After the 4th hour no one had arrived, we called and they said a crew was just leaving the shop. We asked about the sink and we were told the crew was bringing some sort of industrial cleaner. When they arrived they knew nothing about the cleaner. They installed the backsplash and asked for final payment. We were not ready to settle up until the sink issue was resolved. After calling again and receiving the run around we decided to give in and pay. After hours of online research we found several DIY sink cleaning methods and one finally worked. A Manager did call to try to smooth things over and gave us a $100 discount but overall the process was frustrating especially because they seemed like such a professional shop in the beginning. We could not recommend their services based on our experience.

We had our kitchen countertops replaced with Granite. United was the first granite place we visited over six months ago when we first thought about doing it. We met with Warren Epstein 410-540-9333. We went to about 13 other places over the next few months. Warren called back to check on us about every month to see if he could help. I really liked that he wasn't pushy when calling - I'm very sensitive to that. We told him we hadn't made a decision yet. Of all the places we went to, he was the only one to follow up which is why we initially considered going with him. When we were ready to go about 3 weeks ago, Warren jumped to help us. We agreed on a reasonable price. He helped us pick out the slabs. Everyone we dealt with there was so professional - it's no wonder we had no problems. They sent out a young man with a laser measure to measure the room - he was very polite and intelligent. We gave a deposit and Warren helped us pick our granite slabs and he taped them. The install was scheduled when Warren was on vacation, but the other guys in the office stepped in and were happy to help with some of the logistical issues. The install was last week and I'm so impressed with the installers. There were so careful when removing the old formica countertops - no damages to our walls or anything. When they installed the new granite, I sat and watched the whole time. There were amazing in the precision and care. There were no problems at all with any of their work. We are hard to please and they pleased us. The plumber was supposed to be showing up a few hours later. We called United after his deadline and within a minute he called to say he was stuck in DC traffic (he'd just done a job in Reston and we live near Baltimore and it was Friday evening - need I say more). When he and his partner got here he basically rebuilt our plumbing to handle the extra depth of the new sinks. No problems there either. So I think you can always get someone to do it a bit cheaper, but in my opinion the potential problems dealing with less professional granite people really end up costing more in the long run. I can't be more please with my experience with Warren and all of the people I've dealth with from United Granite.

Overall, the service was good. They were quick and had a good price. The only hang up with the process was that once the countertops were installed they coordinated a plumber to install the sink. They forgot to send the plumber out but they were very responsive when they realized the issue. The plumber came the very next day.
