This is my second time using this company. Rich and Jesse performed the service. Rich is a seasoned vet with a wide array of knowledge in his field. Both individuals were punctual, efficient, kind, and professional. I would highly recommend.

Rich and Zach from Blue Jay Electric, Inc. came to my house to install 4 new ceiling fans where there weren't any existing electrical boxes. They arrived on time and I was impressed with their punctuality. Throughout the installation, they explained every step of the process and were very professional. They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up everything after they finished. There was a miscommunication in price when I originally called to schedule the service that we discussed up front. Rich felt bad about the miscommunication and offered a discount on what they normally charge for similar work. I will be contacting Blue Jay Electric, Inc. for any future electrical work I may need.

Rich did a fabulous job installing our bathroom fan. He was courteous and professional and took great care to make sure that he cleaned up after himself. He had to crawl into my heavily insulated attic and made sure to cover my clothes so that insulation did not filter down on the clothes. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and made me feel like I was a valuable, knowledgable customer. I really don't like it when contractors/electricians make me feel like I don't know or don't care about the job being done because I like to know the steps of the job and he kept me very informed. I highly recommend Rich!

We have some funky wiring in our house, so we get some strange behavior (GFI's controlling bedroom ceiling fans, etc). Keon from Blue Jay figured out our wiring issues and re-wired to improve safety and reliability. We lost electricity in two bedrooms and a bathroom but Blue Jay responded quickly (two days) to get us back up and running. I especially want to compliment Keon, one of Blue Jay's electricians. He has worked at our house before and is a model of courteousness and professionalism. He is always happy to explain his work, he gets it done quickly and cleans up after himself. I'm always glad when Blue Jay sends him out to work on our house. Although hopefully it won't be too often!

They were extremely prompt when they came and fixed the electrical outage. I wasn't home when they did the repair and they haven't returned any of my follow up calls inquiring about what exactly they fixed so I know for the future what happened and why. Very disappointed in the back end customer service.

Had been experiencing repeated circuit breaker interruptions throughout the weekend. Called Blue Jay Electrical first thing on Monday morning. Rich came out during the stated two-hour window and quickly diagnosed the problem. Left to purchase parts; returned within an hour; installed new circuit breakers. So far, so good. Rich was professional, competent and friendly. Would use Blue Jay again.

I called Jay at 730 a.m. today and explained I had dropped my hair dryer and lost power to the outlets in my room. Even though I tried the reset button on the hair dryer and reset the the tripped circuit breaker I still had no power to these outlets. Jay said he couldn't get anyone out immediately but could most likely early afternoon. That was fine with me. I knew prior appointments were probably already scheduled and he had to work me in. Around 1130 Keon called saying he was on his way. Upon arrival he checked the outlets and went into the crawl space where he found a wire that tested not working. We went back to the circuit panel and he saw that when I reset the breaker I only partially reset it (seems in my frustration and haste I didn't complete the process). Naturally everything then worked fine. Keon was really good about answering all my questions and explaining things I asked about electrical workings. In the end all I could do was laugh & we joked about how we all sometimes in life do dumb things. I would definitely welcome Keon back the next time I need the services of Blue Jay. I have used them several times already & wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

The staff was very friendly when called to set up an appointment and the guys who came . When they completed a job they explain what was done and showed you.

I contacted Blue Jay and they came out the next day. We had several outlets that were not working in our basement and garage. The technician had to do a lot of tracking to find out what the problem was as there were several issues. He was very professional and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. I had previously used this company for a rental property company I work for and they did such a great job there that I used them for my own home. They are prompt, reasonably priced and do a great job!

They were extremely professional. They explained everything they were going to do. They cleaned up after themselves- everything was neat and clean. They were extremely courteous and very professional.

I got an appointment within a few days after I called. The appointment was set for 7:30-8 am but the electrician called around 7:45 and asked if it was ok if he came later in the day because of some other jobs he had to finish up. Luckily I had the whole day available. After we agreed upon an approximate time, he did show up when he said he would. Keon was friendly and knowledgeable. On top of that he was amazingly fast. Once he figured out exactly what the problem was, everything was fixed in about 20 minutes. It actually took less time and cost less money than I thought it would so I was satisfied.

The electrician was prompt and he immediately diagnosed the problem as a defective dimmer switch which he replaced with a regular switch--problem solved.

It went very well. I have not had any trouble with my light fixture or switch.

They were very responsive. They came out right away for the estimate and followed up right away with the installation. The team was very good. We are pleased with the service and the lighting. Rich and Jessie were excellent.

These guys were wonderful to deal with. They are professional, friendly and best of all, they gave me an amazing price. I recently bought a very old town home in Baltimore City. The inspector informed me that the electric panel, a Federal Pacific Stab-Lok, was known to malfunction and even could catch on fire. So the first thing I did, after buying the home, was to have the electric panel replaced. Rich came out and did an excellent job. I could tell that he had extensive experience as an electrician. He was fast, friendly and did great work. Jay, who I believe is the owner, was really laid back and easy to work with. I scheduled the job through him and he gave me an absolute bargain of a price (I shopped around, trust me). These guys are my new go-to guys when it comes to any electrical work that needs to be done. Thanks for the excellent service and great price guys. I have some other jobs that I need to have done and will certainly be calling you.

e in a timely fashion and The initial visit for the estimate was very detailed and it clearly defined what was needed. I were very pleased with the estimate. The installation was completed by Rich and he provide clear direction on how the transferred switch box worked. The work was done in a timely fashion and with a professional attitude. My overall experience with Blue Jay Electric was excellent. As stated above I would use them again.

Rich and Jessie arrived about the same time as our cooktop installers (who were early) and quickly got to work. While negotiating the installers, Rich converted the undercounter wiring to a 110V outlet and swapped out breakers. Total time in the house was about 30 min. I thought the cost was a little high, but I am not about to complain since I scheduled the visit less than 24h in advance and they knocked out their work quickly and efficiently. For those at Blue Jay minding the apprentice, Jessie did a great job carrying stuff. I'll have these guys back any time.

Called to let me know they would be delayed for a short time. Arrived when expected. Remembered doing work for me in the past. Removed the broken light fixture and asked me to inspect the job, which I did. Because I am a repeat customer and a senior citizen, they waived the $40 service charge. The men from this company do quality work, use quality parts and are personable.. They were recommened to me by neighbors a few years ago, and I have recommended them to others.

Blue Jay Electric, Inc. was great to work with and very fairly priced. I was having a holiday party and I had a few small electrical issues that I wanted to address immediately...one being the front porch light wasn't working. They were able to come out to my house on short notice and take care of all of my issues. Rich and Zach from Blue Jay Electric, Inc. were great! They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and worked quickly. I will definitely use Blue Jay for all of my future home electrical needs.

Blue Jay Electric was a great experience from start to finish. Tracy works in the office and was very adept at scheduling my appointment and answering other questions by email. Her responses were quick and efficient in setting up the date and time which I chose. I had met Jay for the first time at Christmas time when I lost power to part of my house. Jay came out to my house the day after Christmas and solved my problem which resulted from a poor connection in one of my outlets. We asked for an estimate of some other work we wanted done and Jay and Tracy provided me with an estimate. We accepted the estimate as it was a fair price and we now had confidence that Blue Jay Electric knew what they were doing. The electrician showed up on the scheduled date and time. His name is Rich and quickly replaced our kitchen fixture, our post lamp fixture and photocell, and installed an illuminated light switch in our office. Rich was a hard worker and obviously knew what he was doing. He's very experienced, friendly, and courteous. It was a great experience.

Jay responded within hours of my email to him. He was very responsive to further emails regarding scheduling a time and worked around my limited schedule without any hesitation. The electricians arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and got right to work trying to determine the cause of loss of power to outlets in my daughter's bedroom. After a thorough evaluation, they determined that the source of the problem was a poorly wired receptacle in my dining room, which supplies power to my daughters room, was causing the problem. They quickly replaced the receptacle and power was restored. The price was a little steep for less than an hour of work, but I was very pleased with the service and willing to pay to have the problem remedied.

My tenant reported that a ceiling light in the basement was flickering and sizzling before it stopped working. It was not the light bulb so I called Blue Jay to see what the problem was. The serviceman came and determined that the problem was the cheap, plastic light fixture that had stopped working. He said that he could install new fixtures but to save money we could buy the replacement fixtures from the local home improvement store and call them back. That was what we did. We are repeat customers and are very happy with Blue Jay.

Reviewed Angie's List and found good ratings on this electrician. Sent a message on Christmas Day to electrician and received a phone call the very next morning and Jay said he'd be over between noon and two.He arrived at 12:30pm, diagnosed problem, fixed receptacles and got our power back on in about an hour. We were definitely impressed that he called and came out during a holiday weekend. Jay is very personable and competent and we have been delighted at the response and solution. He also takes pride in the workmanship he provides. Will definitely go to him again.
