MPW Painting/Maryland Pro Wash

This company was supposed to paint 1900 square feet of wall space in my new construction home. Initially, they miscalculated the area and tried to short change the amount of space they were required to paint. As a part of the Big Deal they were also required to purchase premium paint, but did not. There was paint all over the baseboards and the caulking of the windows. The leftover paint chips from the drop cloths were put into my toilets. The worst part of the job was the paint they spilled on to my wooden banisters that was rubbed in so much it needed to be sanded out. When I contacted them about these issues, they apologized and promised to come back out. They came back out to do touch-up painting but spilled more paint. They took the wooden banisters that had paint rubbed into them and promised to sand them and bring them back after three business days. They kept these for three weeks, and eventually returned them sanded without stain. Now I need to hire another company to stain the banisters.

The provider came out to my house and painted my living room, dining room and hallway. The services were excellent! They were courteous, neat and very friendly.

Four excellent painters patched, prepped and painted two rooms. Both rooms had special challenges, dark colors, special patching needed, and one had glitter stars on the ceiling and lots of dimple-ing. They did a terrific job, were all very nice and cheerful. They answered all my questions about this job and possible future work. I will hire this company again.

They charged $100 extra due to the size of my home, but I have paid nearly $800 to have my home pressure washed in past so it was a good deal.

In December, I purchased an Angie'ls List deal for $599 for 24 hours of painting, drywall repair, wallpaper removal, etc. My goal was to have some god-awful wallpaper in my two-story foyer and hallway removed. Tony contacted me promptly, arranged a time to evaluate the job and scheduled a time to complete the work. On the designated date, he and his team arrived punctually and got to work. I came home that evening to find all of the wallpaper removed neatly and the areas thoroughly cleaned. I was really thrilled by the quality of the work and the lack of mess. It also appeared that one part of this job was significantly more difficult as some of the house's original wallpaper (circa 1935) had simply been covered by the more recent wallpaper. Tony's team tackled this with no problem and no additional charges or issues for me. I also asked Tony for an estimate to repaint this entire area. On the following day, his team returned to accomplish this. They repaired any areas that required special attention and did a fantastic job. Again, I returned home to find a beautifully completed job and NO mess! Based on this experience, I asked Tony's team to remove wallpaper and paint another room, and repaint my living room. Again, these jobs were all completed in a timely and professional manner. Tony and his team including "the Rolands" (a father/son team) were great. They were polite, punctual, very knowledgeable, friendly, and hard-working. And NEAT! It was really a pleasure to have them in my home. I fully expect to be contacting them again for additional painting projects.

Todd and his crew arrived on time and went straight to work. The painted three bathrooms and one bedroom and did an excellent job....preparation to cleanup. This was a great deal and I highly recommend their service.

They left the area in good shape. I had also called and they stated they couldn't get anyone out for at least a month. What stood out the most was that they did a good job. I think they could have called me back instead of me calling them back. I had to call back a few times just schedule only the power wash.

Tony and his crew did an amazing job. They painted ceilings in 10 rooms, the walls in my family room and kitchen, and the big ticket item, the two-story foyer. For the first time in many years, the house looks absolutely amazing. His team completed all of this in two days. Each day they arrived at the stated time and worked straight through until about 5pm. They were extremely professional, very friendly, and even shared tips on how to improve my painting capabilities. As this was my first use of Angie's List, I have to say, I was quite impressed. I would highly recommend Tony and his team!

We purchased a big-deal for the painting of 3 rooms. The rooms were not equally sized, and we also had some drywall repair required prior to painting. Thus, the overall cost was slightly higher than the big-deal price. We purchased our own paint. The painters were very conscientious, and completed the work by working late when needed. Given their good work, and the fact that the company does other things also, we hired them to do some work on our windows - replacing the seal around the glass. This has not gone well - the provider is not responsive, has left the job partially completed while cracking 1 window, and is not calling to provide any update on when the work might be completed. Consequently, I rate them overall as lower than just for the painting services.

Great Job! They painted the entire interior of the house in 2 days. They were great.

I was rather unhappy with the Big Deal. The company offered to do dry wall repair in 3 hours. When they got here they filled the holes and put the "mud" on, but said that the mud would need to dry for 24 hours before it could be completed. They asked, was there any other job they could do. I wasn't really prepared for that. But I said the posts needed scraping, so they went out there. They said if they were in the area, they would sand it down. They felt bad that I didn't get my monies worth. They left their ladder, so I thought they would be back. It's been over a month, so I guess they are not coming. I will have to find someone else to finish the job. I don't mind the painting, but I don't have the skill to sand the walls and prepare it for paint. I think they should not have stated they could repair drywall in 3 hours if they knew it would take 24 hours for it to dry before the job could be completed.

They did a good job, was not to thrilled about the price. Depending on price, I may use him again.

Two workers arrived on time and completed work efficiently and did a nice job. They cleaned up after themselves - we have no complaints.

I was disappointed with the results. The last time I had my house powerwashed (which was by a different company), everything about the house looked great. This time, there were still many stains and marks after. Update -- I just telephoned, and they said they would take care of it this spring. Thanks very much!

Exactly as advertised. Free estimate and all work courteously performed on time For gratis, they power washed and sealed a large 4x8ft picnic table that was on the deck.

I called them anc scheduled the service for the next following week. They came out and did the service as scheduled. I am very pleased. A neighbor thought we had the siding replaced since we had been doing a lot of other renovations. Would definitely use this company again. I contacted them about 2 months later for a receipt and they promptly called back and supplied it to me.

They came on time, checked the details with me, did a great job and were gone without leaving any dirt.

If he missed a spot, I'd point it out and he would wash it. By the end of the job, he knew how I wanted things done, and I would use his service again.

Gave me a free drywall sander to sand walls. Returned to do so.

The charged me extra because they did ceilings and trims.

Great service, great look to the siding now.

He covered a dark wall with two coats if white and nothing remains of the underlying color. He did a nice job, and I am very pleased with his work. When I need a professional painter again, I will use Tony and Maryland Pro Wash/MPW Painting. I also referred him to a friend as I believe he did a fine job for me and would for my friend

Tony Gibson (MPW Painting and Home Maintenance) went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. He is professional, performs quality work, and is reasonable. When I contacted him for a quote, he came out right away the same day. He provided a reasonable quote and indicated that he was able to perform all work requested. He was extremely nice and approachable. Tony is professional as he responds to emails right away as well as answers his phone. He is very reliable as he arrives when he says he will be there and will communicate right away if he might be running a little late. He is fast, efficient, and performs top quality work! He completed all the work mentioned above in a timely manner. He also asked for feedback to make sure he met and exceeded my expectations (which he did)! Additionally, he said I could reach out to him since he will be in the area the next couple weeks if there are any issues because he said he wanted to make sure the ?job was done right.? Informed that my steps would be a separate charge of $7 for each step. Because it is the second level, there would be an extra cost for that as well. Lastly, since the deck is bigger than the alotted size, there would be an additional price. Stated that it was in the fine print, but I didn't see it. I didn't know the size of my deck because I had not measured it.
