MPW Painting/Maryland Pro Wash

Chris and his co-worker were timely, professional, courteous and got the job done quickly. They were ready to start the job as soon as they arrived. They were considerate in explaining why spray paint residue and english ivy remnants are not able to be power washed off of the siding. Since I had tried (with no success) to power wash it off myself in the past, I knew they were correct. So happy to see my siding mildew free, from top to bottom.

I hired them because they are an award winning company. I originally wanted the company to clean my sunroom, stairway and concrete patio. I asked for them to come out for an estimate, and they requested to perform the estimate through photos. They also talked me into washing my entire home. The workers arrived at 3pm instead of the scheduled 9am, and they commented that the job was underestimated. Since they showed up late, they didn't have time to do the whole job, so they only washed the house on the first day. I noticed no issues on the first day, except the front porch appeared to be half-washed. The second day they came back they did the sunroom, stairway, and all the wood and concrete in the back. I asked them to clean two stairs in the front to match top stair they cleaned the previous day, to which they wanted to charge an additional $125. I refused to pay any more than $50, and they refused to clean them because they were not being compensated. I felt this was completely unprofessional. In their cleaning products they used bleach and it took the finish completely off the wood (including the ceiling in the sunroom). So now it will need to be restained. It also killed 21 of my large fish in my pond and some shrubbery around our home. I contacted Tony immediately to let him know there was a problem, and he offered to compensate for the fish. We had to immediately drain the pond, refill the pond, add chemicals to neutralize the chemicals they used. I've been trying to get in contact with Tony to assess the damage and compensate for these significant problems. It has been two days without a response. Our simple cleaning has turned into a major project. I am very disappointed in this company.

I am VERY happy with the service I got from Maryland Pro Wash. The workmen arrived on time, and worked very hard for more than two hours to clean our siding, brick and roof. I am SO please with the results and plan to recommend this company to my friends. It was also a pleasure working with Tracey in the office, both on the phone and via email.

The two gentlemen that did the work were highly professional and friendly. They were a little bit early for the scheduled appointment and had the job completed in about 90 minutes. They were very thorough and I will use them again. I can't comment about price because I didn't price anyone else; I went strictly based on Angie's List rating.

They came early, worked efficiently, left no mess, we're polite and courteous.

We had Maryland Pro Wash out to power wash three walls of our house that had some discoloration largely due to nearby construction and all that blows in. These walls include a full story brick foundation, two full upper stories and a gable section, meaning the peak is 35 - 40 feet off the ground level. They came, setup and executed in about an hour. The result was clean top to bottom, fresh-smelling and with no sign of them ever having been there (in a positive way). The were polite and professional, even tolerating our endlessly barking dog. Good value. We will use them again.

Bought the $199 whole house power washing deal as a gift for my mother. I set up the date of service after a few email messages with Maryland Pro Wash and had a window between 10am and 1 pm as the arrival time. I received a text message from my mom just after 8am to inform me that the guys were already at her house starting their work. I called her back sometime after noon to ask how everything was going and she said it was all done and had been for a couple hours already. She was amazed at how quickly the guys worked and how great the house looked afterwards (one whole side of her house was completely green after years of dirt buildup). I thought it would be a success if we could just lighten the shade of green on the house after the cleaning, but these guys managed to restore the siding to its original grey color. My mom continues to comment (even when I talked to her this morning) about how friendly both gentlemen were who worked on her house. The communication was great throughout the entire process. I received responses to my emails within hours of sending them each time. I also just found out from my mom that one of her neighbors on her street has already booked the services of Maryland Pro Wash after seeing the results. I haven't seen the finished product yet myself, but if they are already receiving other business from my mother's neighbors, they must have done a great job. We would definitely use Maryland Pro Wash in the future.

There was a minor scheduling conflict as I had replied to a message to confirm my appointment the day before directly through email address however they indicated that I never replied perhaps because I didn't go into the Angie's list account and reply through the message board. When I called the morning of my appointment that had been scheduled for the afternoon I was told that they didn't have me scheduled because they didn't have a reply message form the Angie's list system. I think that Angie's list should let their customers no not to reply directly from the email you get from the service provider as they may not check their email or perhaps it goes to their spam / junk folder. They did make an effort to fit me in on their schedule later on in the afternoon which I appreciate however they were very rushed and didn't take the time to really get the dried up stock on stuff off the brick and siding. I also had some rust stains that was hoping to have removed and they told me they don't cover that and I should by CLR and try that. If I had know that in advance I would have purchased the CLR and had them use it as I can't reach the area that had the rust since its on the second level of the house. Over all they did an ok job but not impressed with the final result or scheduling. I do appreciate that they made it to my house that day but if I knew they were going to rush through the job I would have rescheduled for another time.

The crew called to advise they were running late and di so early enough to allow me the freedom to do other chores instead. THey came when they said they would, and we walked around the property, they explained the process. We also looked at a screened in deck I have and I'm going to request a separate estimate on cleaning/restaining that from them based on their comments and input. The cleaning went well, they were understanding of my handicapped son's fascination with the activity and advised me to keep him indoors off the screened in deck while they did the rear of the house to avoid any exposure to their cleaning solution. They worked quickly and they did a nice job. I prior house cleaner a few years back used some sort of clear coat on the siding that looked great for a year but then started flaking off. These guys got a substantial part of it off and loosened up what wouldn't come off. I'm OK with that, exposure over the next year should make the remaining clear coat cleanable next year. They worked to protect the shrubs and plants. Bottom line is that the mold and algae/mildew is gone, much of the clear coat gone, the trim looks great and the shrubs and plants seem to have survived. I'm satisfied.

This was a total "pain free" experience. The company is easy to contact, friendly, professional and prompt. I was able to schedule the appointment and payment arrangements over the phone as I would not be able to be at home when the job was done. The house siding is white in color and one side was stained heavily from plant mold. The deck was very badly stained as it had not been power washed in over 10 years. After the job was complete the deck and house look brand new. High quality work at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I have aluminum siding that is in very good condition. However, power washing it can be a challenge. If the pressure is too high, it leaves terrible streaks. Maryland ProWash assured me they would do a good job. They use a low pressure system. House looks great! I will use them again!

On time, had all the tools except water to do the job, was finished in under an hour and did a fantastic job.

Tony and team were excellent. This began with the appointment to assess the job and subsequent bid and planning process. The overall team was polite, courteous, clean and completed the job as expected.

Very well. Two people came and worked the whole 8 hours. Both were very professional and did a great job.

They spilled paint on my floor and tile which almost made it's way to my carpet and ruined it. Thankfully the paint hasn't stained the floor too badly there is just a lighter spot where they spilled it. They were supposed to paint a two-story foyer and some spackling in my sun-room, which I told them ahead of time. and they didn't even bring their own ladder, luckily I had one they could use. They never finished the spackling I needed done, but I understood because it had to dry, and they explained it me so I could get it done when they left. They were very nice people but they didn't seem very professional with the work I wanted done. They did an ok job. This wasn't the worst experience that I've had but it wasn't the best, it was just average.
