We did run into some rainy weather forecast and had to delay your project. We value and respect your home. So when there is rain in the forecast we won't remove your door and open your home to potential water damage. Believe it or not, sometimes the weather forecast are wrong (ha ha) and we postpone a project on a sunny day. This can happen however, we would rather not take a chance with your home. We do look forward to hearing from you.

You must have us mixed up with another company. We never met you, we never gave you an estimate, we never worked for you and you never returned our calls. So we are the company who tried over and over again to contact you. Based on our records, our call center called you on 11/15/16 to confirm a meeting on 11/16/16 at 10:00AM. You told us you would be home. The owner of the company arrived at your house at 9:45AM. He saw your work truck in the driveway. He knocked on the front door and no one answered. The storm door was locked from the inside. So he could not knock on the entry door. You do not have a door bell. He went to the side door where you keep a trailer and some construction equipment. He knocked and no one answered. He called you three times and left three messages. He left his business card in your front storm door and then drove away. Our call center tried to reach you to no avail. The owner went back to your house 30 minutes later thinking that you were sleeping and perhaps awoke. Again your work truck was in the driveway, yet no one answered the door. He phoned again and left another message saying he would be happy to re-schedule. Our call center keeps a log of every call. We called you 18 more times over the next 30 days and left messages. Your phone goes directly to a voice mail. You never returned our calls. So obviously, you mixed us up with a another company that didn't show and never called. The owner of Energy Wizard goes to every sales appointment and typically arrives 15 minutes early and calls to make sure that someone is home. If a customer is not available, we will continue to call until we set a new appointment or until the customer cancels. I am sure that you heard of our excellent reputation and that's why you originally contacted us for an estimate. We understand that sometimes things happen and a customer misses a scheduled appointment. No worries, just give us a call to set up a new appointment. I am sure you will be impressed with our responsiveness, reasonable prices, detailed craftsmanship and excellent service. Thank you for your interest we look forward to hearing from you.

Description of Work: complete kitchen renovation. Wonderful experience with this contractor. Not only is the work attention to detail excellent but there was a sense of partnership in getting the job done right and on time. They provided creative input and ideas that we hadn't thought of. They made adjustments on the fly as the project progressed. Those unforeseen gremlins that always creep up in these types of projects were handled with a smile and professionalism. The project work area was always cleaned up after each day. They showed up on time each day, started the job as promised and finished the job on the exact day they had committed to. I highly recommend this contractor and are even talking with them now about the next project. I would be happy to provide a telephone reference.

Description of Work: This is our second time using Energy Wizard and I can't recommend them highly enough. John arrives on time, is very thorough, and works every detail to get what you want. We had old french doors (likely installed as a DIY by the previous home owner) replaced with fresh new french/patio doors and a sliding screen. The workers did have to take a break to get additional materials, but once they resumed, the job went quickly and the result was beautiful!

Description of Work: New siding and door for the front of my townhouse. Very careful discussion of options. The job came out very nice in the end, but required a return visit to fix some small problems. To their credit, the fix was done quickly. The crew was a little sloppy and left quite a bit of debris and damage to plants in front of the house.

Description of Work: I made an appoint with Energy Wizard via Bowie Walmart. The rep came to my home on a Sunday. I did not like the fact that he would only give a lower price if I opt into different programs he proposed (advertising my name, etc.) and it would only be for while he was there. I told him I would have to think it over as well as get other quotes; this company was my first quote. He told me he wished I received other quotes first. He told me he'd wait while I speak with other family and friends. I didn't like that at all. It would not be advisable for anyone to go with only one quote in a competitive market. I will not use them when I am ready to have the work done.

From the point that I met Mary(forgive me if I'm wrong with the name) at a home show to working with the salesman John and installer Danny, I experienced total professionalism and quality with this company. They were efficient in their estimates, by far beat any other price quote and had to door installed weeks before I anticipated. I am looking to use them in the future for additional door and window replacements.

The job site was cleaned up every day before the workers left, and the company sent an independent inspector to check the roof once completed. This was an enormous job and my wife and I are very happy with the results from this business. Everything went relatively smooth considering all the work that was required. Because of the extensive changes to the interior, it took approximately 45 days to complete this project. Subcontractors arrived on schedule and completed the work on time. I would recommend this business to my friends and acquaintances without reservation.

We love the new door. It is beautiful. The door was delivered about 15 minutes before the installers were due to arrive. The installers were prompt, professional and friendly. They did a wonderful job. It was a very cold, windy day when they installed the door in late December. We worried that the door would be off for a long time and the house would get cold but that was not the case. They took the old door (door, molding, trim) off and had the new one in place very quickly. We made coffee and hot chocolate for them to try to help them warm up. They cleaned up everything when they were finished and the new door really added to the beauty of the house.
