Bethany Air Heating & Air Conditioning

Description of Work: Needed to replace a part not covered under the warranty on my AC unit and had the 21 point inspection done. Unit wasn't cooling. Took and additonal two days after the initial appointment to get the part and complete the work. Overall, good job. I purchased the unit from Bethany about 3 years ago so I was familiar with there good service. Great company to do business with. Excellent customer service.

Description of Work: My furnace in my 3 bedroom/2 bath bottom-level garden-style condominium finally gave out in June 2009, 21 years after the unit was built. Dave Bateman and one other person from Bethany Air Corporation installed a new through-the-wall, self-contained heat pump in my unit. This was a difficult and complicated job on which they worked from 9 a.m. until after 11:00 p.m. in order to complete it in one day. These units are not even made any more per se - they had to specially configure and customize the heat pump before attempting to install it. Dave also came out later to finish one minor portion of the installation at no additional charge. The only thing I wish is that the price of the initial service call - around $100 - would have been applied toward the cost of the furnace installation since it was not. It had always been my experience in the past with plumbers, cooling & heat companies, etc. that the initial service call cost would apply toward any additional work. So given the magnitude of the eventual work done, I think the $100 should have been credited toward the final bill.
