Description of Work: Bay Breeze would not provide an estimate on the cost of an air conditioning unit. They were curt and interruptive and would not even provide the simplest of costs, even for the A/C unit by itself. DO NOT bother to call this company!!

Description of Work: Purchased installation of mini-split heat pump. Excellent work and good price.

Description of Work: Our heat pump compressor had gone bad. based on this site and the good reviews called bay breeze. The tek came out and confirmed by compressor was shot. I then was approached to by a Trane new becuase the cost of the compressor installed was $4,000 and a new heat pump was $5,000 ..... I have access to purchasing compressors in my business and got compressor pricing the cost of the compressor was $700 for OEM and $570 for different brand. I hired a licenced HVAC tek to remove , reinstall and do evac and startup which took a total of 5 hours to do.(needless to say I had less then $1,500 in a job they quoted $4,000 for) There pricing is way out of line in fact I got new Carrier pricing from other hvac contractors for over 30% less...... Nice enough guys but they really have the hammer out be aware.........

The system took about a week to come in and it was installed quickly. They even called to thank us for our business.

Description of Work: RJ arrived on-time, diagnosed the problem quickly and provided information on issue with Air Compressor. Also performed routine maintenance and tune-up. Price was higher due to dual zone heat pump setup. Service call was $115 which is higher than $90, but within range of what other HVAC companies would charge. $89 additional for second unit for seasonal diagnosis.

Description of Work: Called due to a problem with the furnace shutting off with a high heat code. | |Arrived on time, Inspected the furnace and noticed signs of blow back from the heaters. Explained to me that the air flow was allowing the flames to travel backward and cause the overheating of the sensors. They measured the airflow in the ducts and determined that they was positive flow and did an outside examination of the chimney. A test determined that the gas pressure was higher than the spec called for by the manufacturer. Adjusted the pressure to be within specs and boosted the fan speed in the furnace unit. This returned the furnace to operation and 2 months latter I have had no other problems with it.
