Heating and Cooling services are never inexpensive. I had a few issues on a 2007 system. The control board was blown down in the blower closet; the heat pump/air handler was canted at an angle, and the original installers did not run the heat pump lines to code. Installed a new 'Nest' thermostat. All this had to get fixed/corrected. Dan (the owner) and Gary were top notch. Showed up on time and kept me informed throughout the project. Thanx, guys!

My furnace was not working which is only 3 years old. The blower would come on, but the furnace was not producing any flames so the air was not being warmed up. Moreover, the igniter did not even come on and the LED's on the control board in the furnace compartment were flashing a "Open Limit Switch Fault" diagnostic. When the technician came over, at first he said that there was something wrong with the blower motor before he opened up the bottom door and saw that it was a variable speed motor. He then said that the diagnostic LED's were showing normal operation until I had to point out that they were showing the "Open Limit Switch Fault" error according to the manufacturer's own documentation. He finally was trying to insist that he thought it was a cracked heat exchanger and that I would be better off to replace everything with Trane. Being that the unit was only 3 years old and still under the manufacturer's warranty as far as parts, I just could not see doing that. Only after I called up the manufacturer and got someone in their technical department to talk to the technician did it turn out to not even be a cracked heat exchanger, but a wire that was hooked up wrong. I had some work done back in May 2014 by another company and it appears that the technician from the other company had messed with the wiring and ended up reconnecting a wire incorrectly which was causing the problems with the furnace, but left the AC working. He was there for awhile (about 1 1/2 hours) between his initial diagnostics and waiting for the manufacturer's customer service to pick up (we were on hold for a bit). So, I can't complain that at least I have a working furnace now for only $85 which I am happy about and that they were able to fix another company's mistake. However, if I had not called up the manufacturer and just went along with his recommendation - I would have replaced a furnace which really had nothing wrong with it. Also, the technician never visually saw the heat exchanger to confirm his opinion that he at first thought it was the heat exchanger.

annual heating unit check up. Only problem was when I called and scheduled i Told them I had a humidifier on one of the furnaces. This was not communicated to the service tech so he did not bring a water screen. Fortunatly I had one.

Very polite, knowledgeable. Was able to get a heating and cooling plan to service and take care of my heating and AC for the coming year. They will be installing a humidifier to my furnace. Overall, I like the business and the people. My father is looking into having them do his furnace and AC, plus doing a service policy for our church..

came the next day. Sent the president who really wanted to install networked thermostats; but after a little discussion I ended up with the type I wanted. Work was done later that day. Installation was quick, efficient and the young man briefly demostrated the operation before leaving.
