Reliability Home is a very professional and friendly company. I was trying to get my AC problem resolved with my Home Warranty company, and the people they were sending out were absolutely useless. I ended up finding Reliability Home on HomeAdvisor, and they came out twice to my place, on my request to diagnose the problem and give me a free estimate. When I asked them to talk to my Home Warranty company, they were very professional and worked with them, even though they never needed to do that. They went above and beyond their duty to help me out in that manner. Their technicians Daniel, Chris and Ralph were great to talk with. They were intelligent, friendly and professional guys, who explained to me exactly what the problem was and how they were going to resolve it. They also were patient in answering ALL my questions, in a friendly and professional manner. These guys are passionate about their work, and they're honest. I really wish there was another star to show how much I appreciate their work. My house was 3 weeks without AC because of the bad and incompetent people my Home Warranty was sending over. These guys resolved the issue within 24 hours. I'd highly recommend these guys to my friends and family. Really a great company!

Outstanding work! Timely, efficient very professional. The did an outstanding job and cleaned up when they finished which is highly unusual now adays.

They gave us more of an exact time when to expect their arrival instead of the typical "we'll be ther between 8-2". They were very courteous and did not pressure you into anything. I loved the quick response times from this company.

Came the next day during a heat spell when there were many calls. Called ahead so I could meet them at home and not lose time at work. Quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the new compressor and installed it as soon as the part was shipped. It was in warranty. We purchased their service policy.

Diagnosed problem quickly and had us back up and running within an hour.

They showed up on time (!), explained what they were going to do and went about doing it. They were very professional which I really liked. The work was completed before the time I was given so that was a pleasant surprise. I would hire this company again.

This company is great. I was able to make a same day appointment for an estimate and they started a couple of days later. This was a 4 day job and everyday they were on time or early. They always kept me up to date on the progress. The guys who came to the house were friendly and polite along with the ladies on the phone when I would call. Even with 2 days of rain they were able to finish the job on time and actually finished early.

The tech was out of the estimated arrival window 1 1/2 hrs late but the company kept me updated. I understandable that some jobs take longer than expected. I would use them again.

I thought today was a lost cause because my home warranty program couldn't get someone to come out to my home to inspect my A/C unit until next Wednesday. It was 80 degrees and I thought on a whim, why not see what HomeAdvisor was all about. I submitted my request, and was shocked when I clicked "get connected to a Pro now", a friendly woman immediately said hello. I had to pause because I couldn't believe she was a live person (yup, felt just like a t.v. commercial moment)! She immediately placed me on hold after patiently listening and reviewing my request, and came back within 5 minutes and stated that unfortunately they couldn't come out (it was around 2:30pm) until 4pm - 6pm today. Wait, what? Today, not next Wednesday! Absolutely, let's book an appointment. Promptly around 4pm, Ralph and Adrian showed up, introduced themselves, and immediately began to assess my issue. They were polite, professional, informative, thorough, and competent beyond anything else I had experienced today! It's now 7:23pm, less than 3hrs later, and my A/C is cooling perfectly and it's no longer 80 degrees in my home. As someone who loves to support local businesses when possible, I can't say enough about Reliability Home. They are local to the Dundalk area, but service the surrounding areas. It was fantastic to be treated like a person, that our issues was treated as if it was their issue, and there wasn't a skeevy bottom hidden agenda or bottom line to mis"diagnosis" for a quick buck. In the end, I signed up for a 1 year service policy with Reliability Home based on the service and commitment of service that I received from both Ralph and Adrian today. If you are looking for truly quality service from a company that cares about their customers and the service they provide, Reliability Home is your only call. We look forward to upgrading our A/C unit and water heater in the near future with Reliability Home. It's nice that there still are company's out there that don't just have a gimmicky name, they truly represent themselves with that name in every aspect of the word! Very trustworthy company.

Since November 2015, we had an ongoing issue with our Rheem 80 furnace. The furnace would run for a short period of time-then shut off and not come back. The thermostat was set for 69 degrees-but because it wasn't running properly - the temperature would drop down to 54 degrees inside the house. We had two different contractors come to the house. Even though they did work on the furnace - the problem continued. One of the contractors that we hired came back to the house three (3) times, but the problem wasn't fixed. The contractor was suppose to come back a fourth (4th time)...but never showed or called. Then, I contacted Reliability Homes. A gentleman by the name of Robert came to the house and did a thorough job of checking out the furnace. He found that some of the work done by the other contractors to be questionable-meaning they jerry-rigged some things just to try to make the furnace run so that they could say it was fixed.. Robert corrected the problems created by the other contractors. Robert diagnosed the issue with the furnace as being with the control board to the furnace. The control board needed to be replaced. He returned the following day with the new board and we haven't had a problem with the furnace since then. It's been running like it should be.

I asked to get a thermostat installed. They were fast to contact me and were able to come out the next day. Technician quickly assessed and installed the new thermostat that I provided. It took less than 20 minutes. I expected the total costs to be between $100 - $150. However, I was told the minimum charge was $85 for a service call and $130 minimum for 1-Hour. Total was $235. Apparently the $85 does not include any work, just parking the truck in the driveway. Both other Home Advisor contractors said a Thermostat installation would be around $125 - $150. I was told by the by the Reliable contact person that I would get a price once they assessed the work. I was not told the price before the work was done and I did not ask (my fault). Before I knew it the Tech said we are done, I am going to go do the paperwork. Again, 20 minutes, counting a trip back out to the truck to get tools. The technician was very nice, did good work, but not worth that price. I will not use Reliable again and would not recommend them to friends or neighbors. I think that prices was taking advantage of the customer not asking the price ahead of time. After the work was done, what choice did I have.

My ratings could be higher but ... the water heater was replaced and installed but, installed in a different location. I was not informed during the assessment or by the installer that the w/h would be in a different place. I was working at home that day and available for any issues that came up. The old w/h was over a foot off the floor because of water issues in the crawl space. The new w/h is on the floor of the crawl space where it will be in water occasionally. The new w/h was too tall to be raised off the floor. Reliability Home came back to look at the area and assured me that the w/h would be fine and that it would last at least 10 years. The old w/h was 13 yrs. I'm not comfortable with an elec. w/h standing in water (it is in a drip pan) but seems this is my only option. I don't believe this is true but I'll go with this for the time being.

I had a plumbing emergency, as my expansion tank had sprung a leak. Reliability Home sent out a technician to assess the damage within 1 hour of my call, and the damage was fixed rather quickly the same day.
