Description of Work: Jerome and his team came to repair some drywall. They did an excellent job on the drywall which was, in my opinion, a bit of a tricky job. The only problem was that I set up my appointment with Jerome in December of 2011 after buying a special on Angie's list. He did not show or cancelled because of his truck breaking down three times before he finally came to do the work. I suspect he is just very busy with the work from Angie's list. So, the quality of the work was great, but there was frustration in waiting for him and getting him to show up for the appointment.

Description of Work: Two holes in the ceiling made by plumbers who were fixing pinhole leaks were fixed and look great!

Description of Work: The company said that the "buy" through Angie's list was for a limited amount of square footage--the amount covered by one gallon of paint only. The bedroom we wanted painted required one gallon PLUS one quart of paint and would not be covered by the amount we paid Angie's List. My husband agreed to pay an additional $100. to have the work done and we supplied the paint. They arrived on time (2 men); worked very quickly and neatly. I would use them again buy only after an agreement on the amount to be paid.

Description of Work: I asked them to repair the holes where the bathroom shower curtain had been attached to drywall. I paid for four hours of work, but they only spent 20 minutes. They quickly spackled over the holes, left it with rough spackle that will need another coat, and did not do repair to the damaged drywall. I.e., they did not replace the torn-up drywall, just covered the damage so it will not be strong enough to support the shower-curtain-rod. And it is not finished -- it needs sanding and another skim-coat of spackle. Otherwise the paint will be pock-marked. I had asked them to cut away the drywall, put wood backing, and install fresh drywall. I guess the wood-backing is beyond the scope of the work I contracted for, but they should have cut away and replaced the torn-up drywall. And they should have left it paint-ready, but it was not paint-ready.

Description of Work: The work was fine. I was disappointed at the time, I paid for 4 hours and they were only here for 90 minutes.

Description of Work: Patched three areas of drywall, each approx 2X2'. Inserted new drywall, taped and mudded to match the rest of the drywall. Nice work for the price.

Description of Work: Extremely unprofessional operation. After purchasing a "deal" on Angie's List, I tried calling them numerous times. They never answered the phone, never returned my call, and I ultimately had to go to the trouble of getting my money back from Angie's List as opposed to using them. Don't bother.

Description of Work: Three young men came on schedule and rapaired several areas of my walls that had cracked due to water damage. I am planning to paint and this had to me taken care of first. I was very impressed with the quality of their work. They cleaned up after themselves and I am very happy with their work. I would definitelyuse them again in the future.

Description of Work: They showed up on time on the appointment date, Heard about them through a special run by Angie's list. They performed a good job and were we good in cleaning up after their work. Would highly recommend them and use them for my future needs.

Description of Work: J&D installed three doors for me today. They did an excellent job. They were professional and courteous and their work was top notch. They even picked up all the materials at Home Depot for me. There is no question I'd hire J&D again. In fact, I'm already contemplating several projects I'd like to hire J&D for. Jerome and his crew are truly great-I'd highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I took advantage of an Angies list deal for 4 hours of drywall for 120.00. The crew arrived on time. I had several small patch jobs and they quickly got to work to on them. After the crew left I realized they did not complete one of the requests--to patch up the space around an exhaust duct for the furnace. I think this may have been the result of a miscommunication as there was a similar patch job around the humidifier that had been build into the wall. They were done in a little over an hour. I wish they had asked to use the vacuum cleaner as I have been picking up little bits of plaster all over the house.

Description of Work: Unfortunatly I was never able to speak to any one after calling and leaving a message fora return call. The coupon will be expiring soon and I am concern about the money we paid. Description of Work: We have not had the work performed. We are unable to the firm to commit to scheduling the work. I would like have my money refunded.

Description of Work: At first I was optimistic-- They seemed like friendly guys and they were willing to work with my schedule even after my coupon expired. However, they said they would come at 8 am but came after 10 am after I called to ask when they were coming. I had the written the appointment time in my calendar after calling them to schedule, but they disagreed that 8 am was the actual appointment time. In fact, I don't think they had it on their schedule for that day. That meant I lost time from work. They only worked 1 hour because they work to "beat the clock" as they told me. So I paid $120 for 2 man-hours. No savings here. Their work looks rushed and incomplete and sloppy. Some holes were left behind that should have been filled. I'm disappointed. My experience with their $99 plumbing was similar. The plugged bathtub was quickly snaked and cleared. My leaky sink faucet was declared too difficult to repair and that the water for all the floors in the building would have to be turned off (when in fact there are taps below the sink to cut off the water, as a friend later informed me).
