Description of Work: NOTE TO ANGIE'S LIST: The coupon was $149 for 4 hours of Handyman Service. He came for one hour and I was so very disappointed I've decided not to schedule for the remaining 3 hours (I talked at length with Rebecca during a call)- I am requesting a refund for 3 hours of work not done ($149 coupon price divided by 4 = $37.25/per hour. $37.25 per hour times 3 hours not performed equals $111.75 refund requested. Thank-you.

Description of Work: I called at least three times, twice spoke with a women who seemed geneuinely interested in scheduling the service, the third time I spoke and scheduled the service, but nobody showed up and repeat voicemail messages produced no results.

Description of Work: The guys showed up on time and were very pleasant. We had a list of small handyman jobs that needed doing - replacing outside light fixtures, putting up towel bars, replacing a door lock set, hanging some pictures. All the indoor jobs were completed but the outdoor jobs were not because it started to rain. The plan had been for the guys to return but once they were gone we decided against this. Because they were rushing to get everything done in the amount of time we had paid for, the work was kind of sloppy and they did not clean up after themselves.we might have called them again but in the meantime we found a fellow in the neighborhood who like doing the occasional small handyman type projects and we call him.

Description of Work: I bought one of the Angie's List Deals for 4 hours of drywall work for $120. They showed up on time (early even) and were very courteous. They even fixed a few other handyman type of things they noticed when I showed them around. They were very courteous, cleaned up after the work was completed and did a great job.

Description of Work: I needed to get some drywall fixed in my house by the time I was putting the house up for sale. The provider was unable to respond in the timeframe I needed. I subsequently sold that home and forgot that I had purchased this deal until I was reviewing my previous purchases.

Description of Work: As I said above, we could never work out a mutually agreeable time. The provider was swamped with Big Deal requests, enough to last 6 months. Then we could never work out a time that worked in our schedules, so I did the work myself. Not really anything Angie's could have done about it. It just happened.
