Everything went great.

Horrible

I had leakage in my home after Hurracane Sandy so I called this company to come check it out and conduct roof repair. They came out twice. The first time the young man couldn't find where the leakage was coming from on the roof and said he would bring his supervisor by to check it out. However, the same fella came by with out the boss and declared that I needed a new roof. I challenged him on that because it was just a certain spot in my family room that I could see water damage. He said he would send me an estimate to send to my insurance company but never did. Basically, my take on the situation is that this company is in the business of replacing roofs, not repairing them which they should have made clear in the begining.

This company is very unprofessional and they have poor customer service. You will be overcharged on prices, misled about the work that needs to be performed. They will add additional charges, which are not true and no they do not verify with the customer whether the additional work is required even though they state they will. Home Tech Exterior, sued over charges they double billed to insurance company. To make matters worse, they said it was an emergency and it was not. Also, the bill showed it was after hours and it was during business hours. In addition, the invoice listed an steep roof, which I do not have. I was not aware of any of the charges until I received the invoice Home Tech Exterior submitted to my insurance company 3 months later. No their prices are not reasonable. In addition, I wrote a review and it was not slander it was the truth and now it is gone from Angies List. Well I am writing another review to replace the one removed. After I posted my review Home Tech called me several times and would hang up on my answering service. If you want to get professional work down do not use this company save yourself the headache.

My neighbor noticed that our roof ridge vent was lifted up from the shingles by the storm Sandy. Called Home Tech Exterior and spoke with owner Albert. Albert advised that they would have someone out first thing the next morning, 11-1-12. Received phone call from roof tech early that morning which he advised was at our home and had investigated the problem with ridge vent. (This was extremely convenient since I had to be at work that day) Roof technician was very courteous and called me back to advise all was corrected! After arriving home latter in the afternoon and seeing work was done in a professional manner, I called Albert to let him know how pleased I was with their work and quick service. Also requested how much I owed him. All I can say is you will not be disappointed with their pricing!! You be assured Home Tech Exterior will be the only company I will call for any of my exterior repairs or projects!! Once again all I can say is Thank You. Jack

I am extremely pleased with the overall work, and would recommend Home Tech to anyone looking to repair or replace a bad roof. Way to go!

I first came in contact with them using Service Magic. While I was still on their website, the owner immediately called me and stated he could be there in 45 minutes. He showed up on time. He walked the roof and took pictures of the problem areas. He was very knowledgeable. He gave us many roofing options. His price was reasonable and we signed on the spot. He was able to schedule the install for our new roof in 3 business days. His crew of about 10 people showed up. They were very courteous and worked very hard. They not only installed the new roof, but they cleaned out our gutters and fixed the slope so that the water would drain correctly. I was impressed that they cleaned up so well. I was worried that there would be roofing nails in the grass and that they might damage our garden while removing shingles. They used tarps and were very cautious. The owner showed up after the install to make sure we were happy with the work. We are very pleased and have no problem recommending them for other jobs. The whole crew are certified installers and it showed in their workmanship. Hire them!

I think its a large corporation so they have different franchises. Their price was right in line.

Albert was very quick to get out here for our emergency situation. He even pulled people off another job to help out with this job in order to avoid further damage. He was very helpful and came back check on his work afterwards. H has superior service and is the best contractor I have ever used.
