Description of Work: We had originally hired them to re-key a couple of locks but ended up asking them to do a few more locks. While he was there, the locksmith gave me TONS of information on how to choose/install the right lock for various doors, etc. He was really nice and professional. I will definitely be using Lance's Locksmith in the future.

+ -1 moreThe two locksmiths that showed up (one was in training) were professional, and worked quickly to get the job completed. They took the time to explain what they were doing and asked several times if I had any questions. They looked over the doors in my home and even fixed one lock dead bolt that was not operating smoothly (the catch was out of alignment). Both locksmiths were very nice and I would hire them again. They provided me with a card and said for me to call in the future if I had any lock related questions or concerns. Very happy with the service!

+ -1 morePunctual, professional staff worked quickly. They did do a bit of damage to the doors around some door handles, but not egregiously so and they provided us a . We bought a Big deal for $175, for 4 locks to be rekeyed and the remaining cost added on was for the additional rekeying of doors and deadbolts needed.

Description of Work: Replaced 3 Pella door handles and locks, replaced screen door hand, and rekeyed 4 locks. Jessica, at the office, did a lot of leg work with Pella getting quotes and information about the new locks. They advised us it would be cheaper to buy the locks ourselves and they would install, which it was and they did. Would most definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreI needed to find a locksmith to change the locks for our new tenant. I looked at the list on Angie's List to find a reputable Locksmith. After reading reviews, I chose Lance's Locksmith Co. I called in the morning, and was given an appointment for the afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised when the owner himself showed up exactly within the 30 minute arrival time I was given. Mr. Lance had the lock re-keyed and two keys made very quickly, and at half the cost of another locksmith I had used previously. Lance's Locksmith Co. has a new customer!

+ -1 moreMy husband an I bought a house and they were able to come out the same day to change all the locks. We had every door rekeyed (done at their van so no dust or mess in the house). They also helped us reprogram a key pad lock and showed us where the instructions were to reprogram our garage door. On time, extremely professional and informative. I will definitely be using them again if I ever need a locksmith.

Description of Work: I started getting text messages from my ex-girlfriend, so I decided to rekey the locks to my house. I called Lance based on their excellent reviews on this site. The worker that came called me about half an hour before he showed up, and everything (time-wise) was done according to the arrangements I made with the woman that I spoke to. The worker that came (Sid) was great - friendly, efficient, funny, and he helped to better align a dead-bolt with a door hole that was giving me problems in the backyard. In and out, it was about 40 minutes for 4 rekeys, and Sid took the time to test each lock to make sure it worked, and he also switched the knobs between the front and back doors to evenly wear them.

He took apart one lock & lubricated it (I had trouble turning the key on the deadbolt), had me test it & it now works smoothly. I had also bought a replacement lock for my sliding glass door; the old one had broken & could not be repaired. He replaced it quickly.

+ -1 moreMy front door knob lock failed closed and my front door could not be opened. Ben came at 8am and repaired the lock rapidly. I asked him if he could rekey the lock on my garage door so I could use my front door key on it and he did that job, too. He had everything he needed on his truck and the whole job took less than 30 minutes. Ben was very easy to work with and accommodating. I will definitely use this company again.
