I called in the morning because the A/C compressor would begin to start up but immediately stopped. Gerry, the receptionist, said someone would be here between 2 and 4 that day. Paul came right on time, fixed it and explained it to my husband, Tom, who was home that day. (I was at work.) Even though I had left a check right on top of the $10 coupon I printed from Angie's List, Tom forgot to use the coupon. I called the office, and Gerry said she would put a $10 check in the mail right away, and she would also send me a preferred customer card for $10 off every service call. Both Paul, the owner, and Gerry, his wife, were as nice, helpful and reasonable as could be! I asked a couple of questions about the service performed. Gerry told me she would ask Paul when he got back that evening, and she would call back with the answers for me in the morning. She called back and patiently explained several things in detail, but in language I could understand. I received the check and preferred customer card the next day along with a thank you note. This company is a gem!

This is second time I have called them for service. They do a excellent job and price is reasonable, I would recommend them without any doubt.

It went great! When I called to request services, the person who answered the phone (the owner, I think) was very friendly. I told him what was happening and asked him if he thought this was a serious problem. He told me it probably wasn't. I also asked if the service person could assess the overall condition of my system and tell me whether it needed replacing. He said that would be fine. The friendly technician arrived between 10:30a and 12 noon, as promised. He diagnosed my problem quickly (a clogged p-trap) unclogged the p-trap, fixed the pipe so that I could actually take care of any future clogs myself and checked the freon levels. He was done in less than an hour and my system is now running fine.

I do not recall exactly what they had to do but whatever it is they did, they succeeded. My air conditioning unit works again so I am pleased. They were very professional and they did a really good job. They showed up on time and they got the job done. I would recommend them and I will say that I would use them again.

He replaced the part in a short period of time and now the unit works fine. Our unit needs to be replaced shortly but we had them do this repair just as short term remedy until we get a new one. I was glad that they were able to get it fixed instead of having to replace the whole unit.

On Sunday afternoon, the a/c went out in my house on one of the hottest spells of the season. Monday morning I searched the list, found A.P Mathews and called them at 8:00 a.m. They had a tech, Kenny, there in 15 minutes who diagnosed and replaced a blown capacitor and he was on the way, within a half hour of the initial call. How much better can service get!!!

First of all, they came on the same day that I called them. They told me that they would be here between 2-4 p.m, and they arrived at 2:30. My only complaint would be that I asked them to call me when they were on their way, and they didn't. But other than that, the work was quick but thorough. They also worked around my basement clutter! The best part, they told me that it would be between $85 and $150 and it was $93. I would call them again or recommend them to anyone.

THEY CAME IN, AND DIAGNOSED THE SYSTEM. THEY ARE VERY HONEST, AND VERY EFFICIENT. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO. THEY WERE EXTREMELY HONEST, AND DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME SOMETHING I DID NOT NEED.

I THINK THAT THEIR PRICES ARE FAIR, AND THEY ARE RELIABLE. I FOUND THAT THE WORKERS LEFT MY HOME IN A NEAT CONDITION AFTER THEIR SERVICING WAS COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL STAFF AS WELL.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS. HE REMOVED THE OLD HOT WATER HEATER AND INSTALLED THE NEW ONE IN JUST A FEW HOURS. HE ALSO REMOVED THE OLD ONE.
