I am pretty fussy having put up crown molding myself in other rooms. This was not a rush job! The two fellows took their time and the results were absolutely spectacular. They were friendly, congenial and professional. There are shortcuts to putting up crown molding and cheaper products. They used first class molding and took absolutely no shortcuts. Not only did they mark each and every stud in each room to ensure that the installation was flawless, but they carefully caulked and over painted all the molding. Not an imperfection could be found! When they finished it looked as if the molding had always been there. I would hire them again in a minute! They explained that they just didn't do crown molding, but do a variety of remodeling tasks. I would strongly recommend you let them bid your next project. From my experience you won't be disappointed!

The overall experience was excellent. They were on time and very professional. Our room was actually larger than the size decribed in the big deal, but that was no problem for them. The room was in my basement and encompassed just about the whole floor. They extended the discount of price per foot to the size of my basement room. They did a great job and we plan on using them for future projects. We are currently getting estimates for other work that we would like to get done.

It went great. They were in and out. The molding looks great and everything was left neat and clean.

Tony Morgan was punctual, professional and spectacular. This was one of the deals of the year in my opinion. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding for the price paid. I took advantage of Angie's List Big Deal with Tony Morgan to install crown molding. We just moved into our renovated home and it needed that finishing touch. Tony was very responsive, he returned my call within the hour. Tony was available to install the crown molding quickly, arrived on-time and did a beautiful job. I cannot recommend this company and their employees enough. They were on time, went an extra mile to get it right (older house), prompt, attention to details, cleaned up thoroughly and completed in time (a little less) than they estimated originally. They were extremely professional and I was very happy with the result.

I'm VERY impressed by this company. Tony has fantastic rapport with the customer and wants to make sure that everything is satisfactory before they leave the job. He pays close attention to what the customer wants and then proceeds to accomplish the work in a superb, high quality manner. I've dealt with many contractors and in some cases, I can't wait to get them out of the house and never have to deal with them again...Know what I mean? BUT NOT this company - they work in an easy-going manner respectful of the homeowner and very willing to explain the work or answer any question that a homeowner has. I didn't feel like I had to supervise the work, they were so professional. That freed me up to do other things in the house while they made my house more beautiful than it was. I had a question after the fact with one item and Tony came by in the evening to double check on things. Very Conscientious. Very proud of the work they do. Will Definitely hire this company for other things. Nice that they can do wide variety of jobs in the home - saves me from having to search out for another contractor to do other things. The company owner responded quickly to my inquiry and offered me several dates. He came the Sunday after our initial contact. He was polite and respectful. We have had several contractors who gave us a hard time over our "no shoes on the carpet policy" but Mr. Morgan didn't even blink. He was amazingly considerate of this request. The crown went up and was painted quickly and efficiently. And despite the old-house-crooked nature of our walls, the crown looks amazing. I was very pleased with his work and would definitely use the company again.

It was a job well done in a short period of time.

I asked Tony for an estimate for replacing my decking with Timbertech. I had just had a new timber deck installed and the work was not good so i wanted to hear how tony would re-do the job. Tony was prompt arriving at my house, inspected the existing work and gave many helpful suggestions. I found him very knowledgable and professional. He was understanding of the difficulty of having a brand new deck that needed replacing! He pointed out several other simple ways he would improve areas I had not even thought of. Having just had a bad experience with a contractor, I was able to fully appreciate the "right way" of going about things that Tony exhibited. He is clearly a high quality craftsman and does the work himself (which i have learned is a good way to go). I did not go ahead with the project for other reasons. But i wish i could have done so and will in the future.

I hired MBR to build my family our new deck. Our old deck was starting to fall down and I wanted a new deck that was bigger and was going to be built to last. I had several estimates but Tony from MBR was exactly what we were looking for. He was not the cheapest but we were much more concerned with quality then with price. He also came highly recommended by a co-worker who had Tony and his crew remodel their kitchen and bathroom. He designed our new deck with all the input we gave him and made it work within our budget. He even made some really great suggestions that we never thought of. His price included everything from the demo, obtaining the permit, building the deck, and even installed deck lights. We are extremely happy with Morgan Building and Remodeling. Next year we are having our basement finished and I will be using MBR for sure! I have also recommended them to anybody that asks.

From my initial contact the experience has been POSITIVE. Mr. Morgan answered my phone call at 7pm. I had just gotten home from work and my husband and I had decided to begin the process of finding a contractor. Mr. Morgan was referred to us by a neighbor. Mr. Morgan came to our home the next morning and after some time explaining to him what we wanted he made some suggestions to our plans and said he would return with design plans and a an estimate of cost. We asked he meet us on Monday evening to review his plans. My husband and I met with two more contractors Monday morning. When Mr. Morgan returned Monday night he had 3-D drawings and a very detailed estimate. The other two contractors did not hold a candle to his presentation. We chose Mr. Morgan and the work began exactly on the date we chose. He was always on time and true to his word. His suggestions saved us money and enhanced our ideas of what we wanted. Specifically, he suggested LED lights under the cabinets and they created an aire of elegance to our room. We are extremely happy with the final product and will use Morgan Building and Remodeling for our future projects. He is our contractor for life and have referred him to our family and friends,. We plan to remodel the master bath next and can't wait to see what he comes up with!

He was recommended by another person I was talking to about tiles. He did a really good job. He did it within the time he said and within the cost that he had said. If something did not work out right he worked with me to come up with options and let me know if it would be over the cost we had spoken about. Overall he did a very good job and he was a good communicator. I spent $30000 on that work. I did not compare the prices but I did not have a problem.
