The Bowen team completed the demolition of our bathroom in one day. The rebuild was complete in less than two weeks, with the exception of the custom glass for our shower enclosure. The entire bathroom was retiled, the shower was redesigned, and we replaced the original tub with a corner tub. The price was very fair. A viturally identical deisign with another major bathroom remodeler was over $15000 more! The workmanship was first class, and the entire operation was very clean. The workers were extremely careful to ensure dust and dirt was kept to a bare minimum. After the job was done, we also had the entire bathroom repainted by Bowen as well. I would highly recommend Bowen for either bathroom remodeling or painting. We will use them again for sure.

Was very satisfied with professionalism of the staff including estimator, lead painter, and office staff. All appts were on time. It was a 4-day job and everyday they cleaned up and mopped floor before they left for the day. The work came out very nice - makes these rooms look new again. They finished the job a day before estimated completion. Only glitch was a minor one, which was the estimator told me they would use any paint I requested although they preferred Sherwin Williams because they had a contract with them. When I called the office with my paint selection, I requested Behr. On painting day, they showed up with Valspar (?) paint. I contacted the office as soon as I noticed this and the estimator called back to explain they did not understand was partial to Behr. He dropped by my house that afternoon to provide information supporting that Valspar is a good quality paint and showed the colors exactly matched the Behr colors I had selected. After researching the paint brand, I realized it is an equivalent quality paint, but I wish they would have gotten my approval instead of just showing up with it. This is a good company and I highly recommend them.

Overall, the experience was good. They were talking about doing good work, but I thought their estimate, at the time, were a little too high. They were incredibly professional, arrived on time, and had samples. I might consider them because of the work that we talked about doing.

Very good over all. Office staff is very responsive. They got the color right the first time, and a small carpentry error was fixed before they left for the day.

The office set up a start date and time for this 4-day job. The crew arrived promptly each day and did an excellent job of clean-up at the end of each day. The job was actually completed slightly ahead of schedule. The crew had all of the items they needed; no need to make a trip to the hardware store or back to the shop to pick up a missing item. All nail holes were sealed and Sheetrock sanded and repaired in every location where needed. Punch-list items (all very minor) were taken care of promptly and without hesitation. Painting was two coats, done very neatly and with no "slop" onto any adjacent surfaces whatsoever. Wall fixtures (e.g. electrical switchplates and receptacle plates) were removed prior to painting. Would definately use Bowen Painting and Remodeling again.

Overall, the experience was a "C". The workmanship was good-excellent, the estimate was accurate, the work was completed just as agreed. Very pleased with this part of the process. HOWEVER, the planning part was not very good, the "designer" that came to our home was not a "designer" (as we were told she would be) but rather just there to take our order. Instead of giving options, she asked what our budget was and told us to go to the showroom and pick out the ceramic tile that we liked. She didn't provide options, ideas, or suggestions. The next time we contacted them for an estimate for new work to be performed it took 10 days to get an estimate we were promised we'd receive in 2 days and we were never put into contact with another company that could provide an estimate for the work that Bowen couldn't do (Bowen doesn't do carpeting). At that point we decided that although their work was good, their poor customer service (planning stage) wasn't worth the frustration. Bowen's prices are higher than other reputable companies in the area so we will not hire them for new jobs.

They do fantastic work. They are very clean. They do honest work, they don't rip you off, and they are more than willing to work with you, designing any bathroom or anything you want they have a variety of different types of fixtures you can put in. It's an excellent company to work with.

I started using BOWEN PAINTING & REMODELING several years ago whenever my single-family home would fail its annual exterior homeowners’ inspection. The problem was always minor, i.e., front door required painting, stain on window sill, etc. No matter the size of the job, Bowen would always respond to my enquiry, provide a very reasonable estimate, and perform the work as stated in the contract. Most recently I asked the company to evaluate a periodic water leak that was coming through the ceiling fan in the master bathroom. The leak would only appear with resulting rain and high winds. Previously I had called two roofing companies but neither wanted to do the job as it was too small. Another contractor provided an estimate of $980 and would not guarantee their work. I contacted Bowen Painting and asked if they were willing to evaluate the problem. Within 30 minutes after the estimator had arrived, he concluded that the most likely culprit was a flashing problem around the master bathroom exhaust vent fan. Subsequently the company discovered the same problem with another exhaust vent fan on the roof and caulked both roof areas, applied an interior sealant around the interior exhaust fan, and painted the bathroom ceiling. The cost was $145.00. I have no hesitation in highly recommending BOWEN PAINTING & REMODELING for their price, quality, responsiveness, honesty, punctuality, and professionalism.

They did a very nice job and they did it expeditiously. Most of the detail trim didn?t actually require painting, but because we have a south-western front exposure, things went a little quicker than that of most of our neighbors?. They cleaned up after they had finished the work. They were pretty economical - I thought that it would be twice the amount of what it actually cost me. They were quick and totally cooperative, and they showed up within the half hour of when they said they were going to be here. I have only good things to say about them.

Bathrebuilders had ideas for us. They were very good. They did the job in the time they said they would and we had no problems at all. We had a couple of minor problems and they came and took care of them quickly and efficiently.
